The food is great, and the amount of food is great. The night my wife and I went, the service was covered by all the servers. The lady who sat us down was great. She was checking on us all the time. There was a girls' birthday party but it was fun watching them have a great time.

Been coming here for years. The quality of service has gone down and the food is eh... wasn't offered bread for about an hour and the espresso martini and shrimp scampi were not that great. The rice was soggy it was more like risotto, the mussels in the spicy sauce had no spice; also had a spicy marg which they tried to serve with pepper that was not jalapeño...

Augie's was extremely helpful when planning a small reception (over 15 people) after a funeral. They were very accommodating and attentive when we all arrived. The food was excellent. Wonderful waitstaff. I highly recommend Angie'sWheelchair accessibility: There was wheelchair access

Food is great and the portions were huge. Service was excellent and it's got a really New York Italian ambience. The desserts were amazing and it was very fairly priced.

Food is delicious. They have no problem with minor substitutions to your meal. I didn't feel rushed to finish. Waiter checked on me often. Servings are family style. I didn't have a reservation, but was able to be seated. I went on a weekday around 5pm. Adding Augie's to my

I've been going to Augie's for years and usually the food is good. recently, I ordered the chicken and veal scapariello which was average. there was no veal in the dish; it was entirely chicken. when I inquired I was told I was wrong. Very disappointed!

Ordered food for takeout which we picked up. Food lacked flavor and poor quality. In addition, they overcharged each item ordered when compared to the prices listed on the menu on their website. Do not waste your money.

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon while traveling through larchmont. I found myself craving for Italian, luckily I came across this amazing must go to spot. It's called Augies. Augies is a family style restaurant with great food, great portions, great service, and I guarantee you will leave very full and very happy. Just keep in mind when ordering the lemonade its not a usual lemonade, its just lemon water. When in larchmont go to Augies.

If you are looking for hearty, homestyle Italian dining, Auggie's is your place!A delightful gem tucked away in Larchmont, Auggie's encapsulates the soul of family-style Italian cuisine, like few others.Step inside Auggie's and be welcomed by the enticing aromas of simmering sauces, bubbling cheese, and herbs whispering tales of the Italian countryside. Its lively ambiance, with a cordial staff radiating warmth, feels like a gathering at a long-lost relative's home – welcoming, comforting, and filled with anticipation for a magnificent feast.Beware, the menu here does not understand modesty when it comes to portions. When Auggie's proclaims 'family-style,' they mean it in the most generous sense.Gargantuan portions!A single order, modestly priced around $30, can satisfy a small family. This bountiful tradition applies to their takeout as well, making it an ideal choice for those celebrations or perhaps those mid-week 'no cooking' days. The pièce de résistance that you must indulge in is their Shrimp & Mussels Fra Diavolo. A symphony of seafood, it's a hearty platter that sails you to the coastal regions of Italy. Savory, spicy, and abundant with fresh shrimp and mussels, the Fra Diavolo sauce enrobes every morsel with a zing that lingers pleasantly on your palate. If the antipasto is the overture of your Auggie's experience, then the desserts are the perfect crescendo. The cannoli, in particular, is a duo of sweet delights that's as impressive as the main courses. But rest assured, unlike the main dishes, the desserts are portioned for individual indulgence – unless, of course, you decide to partake in the large, shareable cannoli.Whether you're hankering for a comforting meal or seeking an enjoyable dining experience, Auggie's truly delivers. It's a must-visit dining spot that robustly upholds the traditions of Italian family dining in a modern, welcoming setting.
