“I was staying nearby visiting NY and I came across this beautiful park/beach. There were plenty of free side street parking. A part of this beach is private for members. I wish there was a public beach with sand too but I only saw one marked as private. There is a nice walking path to a gazebo overlooking the waters. All in all, a nice place to visit and chill while watching the water and many boats.”

“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to share love fund, through the person of Maam Share that because of her great love and compassion for all people especially for women, founded this organization on empowering women which has touched the hearts of many women all over the world including my daughter and myself. Thank you so much for making my daughter a part of this organization which I consider a very great opportunity in helping her to develop her skills and experience your overflowing generosity and love which I have also benefited much especially with my health condition as I journey with cancer. It’s my prayer that God will richly bless you with His love, joy, peace, good health and protection and more financial blessings with your family and all the people who are behind this organization as you continue to touch other people’s lives through this charitable act that shows your concrete manifestation of love for all people which is pleasing in the eyes of God.As a woman and a mother, again, thank you so much. We will treasure your deed of kindness and generosity forever in our hearts.God bless SLF! To God be all the glory and praise!”

“I joined August '22, dealing with lingering pain, spasms, and PTSD from ~20 years of Lyme disease that was misdiagnosed till 2016. I was sleeping 5-6 hours a night, depressed, not sure how I could survive another 6-12 months of harsh recovery. Therapy wasn't helping, and I needed relief from my stress and anxious thoughts. Long Island Meditation helped me find that.Even though I still had to deal with the same recovery process for my body, I was finally able to get rid of stressful thoughts and haunting images and feelings that seemed to follow me like a curse. I sleep 7-8 hours.Unlike other meditation methods that offer vague exercises and visualizations, Long Island Meditation teaches a regimented method that any student can follow and achieve enlightenment. It's a simple process that works naturally for everyone. Now my body is finally feeling healthier, and I am so grateful to be able to enjoy the improvements in my life moving forward, instead of being caught up in the past. Life seems happier, and even answers to big questions seem accessible. I've been studying different spiritual modalities for decades, and I'm the most grateful that this method came into my life.Sound too good to be true? One way to find out. Why not give it a try?”

“My husband and I went in to change licenses and the people working there could not have been nicer or more competent. My situation was complicated due to out of state exchange with social security proof different than NY's and also because of a 20 year old NY ticket I did not know about. They made calls for me and assisted me so that I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done to resolve the outstanding matters and also came up with a strategy to address the out of state issue. And we had a great time while we were there because they were all really warm and funny. Same experience when I returned the next week to finish the transaction after doing the things they identified for me. So much better than going to DMV!!!”

“I was driving past and a beautiful pillow in the window caught my eye and I had to go in. This place is a treasure chest of great items for gifts for others and a few for myself! “I've got two young daughters in swimming lessons here at the moment. Due to covid, numbers are down to two per class. This obviously means almost 1:1 coaching, which is great for their swimming development and 30minutes quickly goes by. All staff are very nice and welcoming. The place is clean and well maintained. There is a good small pool for kids development, as well as an impressive Olympic sized pool. There is a clean family changing room, just with the one shower room but with three private changing rooms as well. And there are obviously other changing facilities for over 18s.Definitely a good option for sports, children or adults.”

“We have had a wonderful experience with our two children at HBMS. Our son is part of the Honors Program and along with our younger daughter has attended the Summer Arts Program for years. Whether it's private instrument instruction, Musicianship classes or chamber music and orchestra, we have always had incredible teachers and a tremendously positive and supportive atmosphere. It is very inspiring to see such elite musicians show such kindness and patience to every child from the youngest beginners. HBMS is a truly special place!”

“My children have been at Pat-A-Cake since they were in the infant room at five months old. We have made our way up to the Pre K room and have loved every stop along the way. The facility is clean and filled with fun and education material for the children. My children have made wonderful friends in their classes and have connected with each of their teachers. It is obviously that the staff cares deeply for the children and they go above and beyond to make the environment both fun and education. The socialization, education and nurturing my children have experience here have been priceless. We enjoy seeing smiling parents in the parking lot and happy kids running inside to see their teachers in the morning. I cannot recommend Pat-A-Cake enough!”

“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”

I definitely plan to take another class.”

“The staff here are extremely kind and patient. They had prepared age appropriate activities for the children. Everyone was able to have a turn, feel included, and participate. As expected, safety was address first and safety rules were adhered to.I had no idea the park next to Rocking the Boat had such amazing views. It's amazingly tranquil with nice picnic style benches in the shade for a peaceful break or lunch. This is a place that would require multiple visits to get the full scope of their educational offerings and soaking in the scenery.”

“The true care and compassion shown to us by Evelyn, Debra, Tina, Michelle (Aide) and Barbara (Nurse) was incredible. They allowed my mother to pass in the comfort of her home of 35 years, holding my Dad's and my hand as she took her last breath. It is the greatest privilege bestowed upon us. These ladies of Hospice are true angels on earth and we couldn't be more thankful to each of them, but, especially Barbara. You make a difference in everyone's life, Barbara. Never forget that!”

“The New Dawn Foundation is a phenomenal organization that provided our spiritual group a space to host a retreat on Kabbalah. We rented the venue for just the weekend, and the volunteers (particularly Nnacy) who run this organization were very prompt to reply to any and all questions I had about the space leading up to our event. We comfortably hosted 14 people in the space, although this worked well because we knew each other going in and had a few couples sharing beds.Thank you New Dawn for all the work you all do in order to create affordable opportunities for young adults like us to engage in spiritual retreats! At the end of our time together participants went around in a Circle and shared gratitude, and so many people included the venue as something they were grateful to experience over the weekend. Can't recommend this venue enough. I'm attaching a sketch that one of our retreat participants drew of the stunning sunrise.”

“Although pricey, this place was a great alternative to any of the gyms around town. They had a big pool which was great for my daughter and wife, and the gym was clean. The staff were always friendly. And the programs for kids were great! We will miss coming here but will absolutely recommend it with no hesitation.”

“I was sent there in 1961, yeah I know I am old. I was one of Father Benedict's Joseph (BJ) first choir members during the inaugural year of the chapel. I was in Lenox cottage then we all moved to McAlister one of the newest cottages back in the day. We Had Football and played games against outside school teams. Baseball and softball, boxing, basketball, and swimming. We built an Indian village. Took a few trips with father Benedict to the city.Yes,we had to fight sometimes to protect ourselves but honestly we all tried to hide them from the cottage parents. The education was good at the main building and the trade shops too.I remember the shoe shop where Mr. De Martino showed us how to fix a lot of the other kid's shoes. Many years later while visiting, BJ asked if I could address the children and tell them my CV story and how I used that to better my life.I am married to a wonderful woman with 3 boys and One daughter who collectively they blessed me with 13 grandkids.I live in the Midwest and after I retired got into giving back to my community. I chair an Hispanic Leaders Group and was appointed by the Missouri Governor as one of his Human Rights Commissioners for the state.I share this not to boast, but to motivate all CV alumni to see the possibilities of the good life they can have FROM LESSONS LEARNED.Remember God does not make junk.He has love enough for us all, we just have to accept it for ourselves.”

“My kids have been participating in shows (Jellybeans through Workshop & Lab) for the past 6 years. It is consistently the activity they look forward to each week. I am amazed what they can put together in 10 weeks. And, the organization is awesome! You know exactly when & where you need to be for every rehearsal before you sign up. The instructors are all extremely talented, patient & so enthusiastic. They are the best!”
