Wife’s car had an intermittent issue where it wouldn’t start after sitting for a few days at a time. Dealer couldn’t figure it out and kept testing the charging system (battery, alternator, etc) and couldn’t find the root cause of the problem. Decided to take to a local shop instead and found Jack’s via google. Called to give them a heads up on the issue and when we could drop the car off. They were very accommodating. Were able to look at it and fix it in the same day, within 4 or 5 hrs of dropping off the car. Figured out the problem was the starter, replaced it, and now runs perfect. Pricing was consistent with what I’ve seen in the past for same work. Close by, local, and efficient. Can’t beat that!

Despite several requests for quotes and scheduling for basic repairs on two cars, which were written down by the receptionist, I never got a callback on either one. I try to direct my business to local providers but in these cases had no choice but to go elsewhere.

When math is hard ....Quoted 400 on the phone. After we said do the work, all of a sudden it was 500. It's amazing the thievery that occursEDIT: except thats exactly how it happened, they said 400, then had the grapefruits to charge my wife 180 for labor. Again, thieves. And the irony of a wrench monkey talking about accounting mistakes.Service: Auto brake repair
