I have been taking my cat to LAH for over 10 years. The Dr. Fullerton takes time to examine and assess my kitties. She has been very helpful. The staff is curious and friendly. Thank you LAH for taking care of my dur babies.

My pup is very anxious about new people and environments. Larchmont AH was a calm place for him with very helpful staff. They also have worked with me to keep his (and my cats’) care affordable. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love them. Everyone in the practice is so sweet and attentive. I used to take my puppy to the New Rochelle Animal Hospital and after many months of being mistreated at the practice I decided to switch to the Larchmont Animal Hospital and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Dr. Donna Fullerton is the best and the front desk and assistants are so sweet. They always take great care of my beagle and I 100% recommend them.

We’ve been bringing our dogs here for for many years even after we moved to Stamford 11 years ago. The level of care and concern they have for every animal they treat is unmatched . I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else to care for my dogs!

This vet questioned me on my why I rescued my dog and didn’t take her time to examine him at all. She told me he needed a tooth removed just by tapping on it. I saw two other vets after that who both confirmed his teeth were fine. It honestly felt like we were a nuisance to her. I have since found a better vet who spent an hour with us, answered questions and sent me home with tons of materials and samples.

This place doesn't know how to care for cats. I took my 4 year old Siamese cat here for an initial visit to get her teeth checked. She was born with dental issues and they escalated while I was busy with school. I just moved to the area and was hoping this could be my go to vet for my 4 year old Siamese and 9 month old Ragdoll kitten. I was wrong. The female vet I saw was overall okay but her communication skills were lacking and she seemed overwhelmed with her patient load. She did not communicate what their initial check in process was. She just walked in and did a rectal temperature check on my cat which obviously made my cat frantic. I've never seen a vet at least try to console a cat before doing a rectal temp. But the vet wasn't the main issue. My biggest issue was with the tech. He was a big guy and held my 10 pound cat down with such force that she limped for a week!!! On top of that he kept saying "oh are you going to be a good kitty" as if my cat were supposed to be okay with a stranger forcing her down! The vet handed him gloves at one point and hinted to him that he was using too much force but did nothing else. I had to ask them to Leave The Room so I could console my cat who was much better after a little love and care! I had to initiate this because the vet did nothing! My purebred Siamese cat has NEVER been handled that poorly in her 4 years of life! The vet also didn't read the admission form clearly and was checking for issues that I never stated. She was also supposed to follow up with a report on the cost of dental treatment but never did. I would not have subjected my cat to the poor treatment at this place again anyways. That vet tech should be fired because I'm sure my cat isn't the only he handles poorly. I could tell from his demeanor that he should not be allowed around animals. He held my cat down like she was a 50 pound Great Dane and seriously injured her back paws. My cat was clearly shaken after the visit and it took her a week to get back to herself! For a week she would run away from the cat carrier!! They should be ashamed! As a pediatric doctor who knows what it's like to have a heavy patient load and work with small patients, I was appalled by what I saw at Larchmont Animal Hospital in New Rochelle. The only positive experience I had was with the secretary who scheduled my appointment, she was very polite, pleasant, and helpful. Her friendly demeanor made me excited for the visit and to meet the rest of the staff. Too bad that's not enough to make up for the poor treatment of my cat during the actual visit. Perhaps the visit would have been better if she were the tech handling my cat and guiding the vet. Overall, I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone with a cat.
