The food is also incredible. The carnitas tacos were perfect and the chicken empanada was one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back to try some of the dinner foods as well.”

“The Arthur Avenue Retail Market is one of several public food halls across the city, including Essex Market (LES), Jamaica Farmers Market (Queens), La Marqueta (Harlem), and the Moore Street Market (Brooklyn).The Arthur Avenue market opened in 1940 to serve the predominantly Italian neighborhood and still does to this day.There are several vendors, including butchers, fresh produce sellers, dry goods, and at least one restaurant and sandwich joint.I was running errands in the area and needed a sandwich, so I ordered a mortadella and broccoli raab sandwich from Mike's in the back on the right. They also offer many pre-made sandwiches if you are in a rush, but I like to order off the menu.The butchers look great and have an assortment of specialties, including offal and fresh rabbits. I can't wait to see what they offer around Easter time.There are a few tables near the bar in the back and as part of the restaurant, but it's hard to say if you are welcome to sit there to eat a sandwich. Regardless, it's a great spot to check out if you are walking along and want to pop into NYC, equivalent to a European food hall.”

So a friend recommended me to Richie's!The place is Clean, lots of items on display, and always fresh! Every guy I ever dealt with has been extremely nice and pleasant. “i bought sum steaks from here and was very happy with the shipping and quality of the meat me and my family enjoyed it very much! They took three days shipping it but i was supprised on the third day at about 11:30 am to recive them with the ice gel packs still completly frozen over the steaks srry they are not in the pictures did not think to also show them but im happy with the money i spent and recomend to anyone with the money to spend you will not be disapointed well if your as luck as i was anyway! oh yea this is 6 steaks in the cooler hard to tell but what you see is just the top three”

“This place is amazing. I was so excited to find them and called before to ask if they would make me a basboosa cake and tray of kunafa for my dads birthday. They did that same day, and it was one of the best we have had in a long time. My dad was so surprised and so happy. It was beautifully made and the owner was incredibly kind and gave me some great insight on the best ways to reheat.I love this place, and even though it’s about an hour away from me I will come back soon. I want to try so many more things!They have so many wonderful speciality items and other home made goodies I am looking forward to trying.”

They also carry things like duck, lamb, rabbit, quail, and a few other more exotic meats if you're into that kind of stuff. Great place and make sure you ask for Jimmy he is a true professional!”

“This was becoming my favorite Pork store/deli in the White Plains-Harrison area but they just recently stopped making sandwiches. I'm heartbroken because they were the best hidden gem in Westchester. They served their sandwiches on butcher paper. They had the best sandwich rolls/wedges - soft on the inside but chewy on the outside. And most importantly-their coldcuts were well balanced- not too much - not too little. I'll have to settle for their meats since no more sandwiches”
