Carpet One Floor and Home in Albany did a wonderful job on my kitchen floor. More importantly was the service provided by Mark. He measured and handled the job from the beginning to the end. Mark followed through personally with any issues or concerns I had. I would highly recommend them when replacing your floors!

We had an engineered hardwood floor installed one year ago. Laura Cardinal was the salesperson we dealt with and she was great! Answered all of our questions and pointed us towards the best products for our particular project. The installers were also excellent. One year later the floor still looks brand new and we are very happy!

We used Carpet One severals times prior to this. This experience did not go well. First, we had to go to them to get the proposal because they sent it to the wrong email address. When we placed the order we were told the flooring would take up to 3 weeks to arrive. After 5 weeks we were told that no one knew where it was and there was no way to track it. Once it did arrive, the scheduler was nice enough to get us the installer we wanted to do the floor a couple days after it arrived. The installer showed up and told us that the process the estimator told us we HAD to use was wrong and that he wouldn't do it that way. This was just a mess from the very beginning.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Carpet One after purchasing a home that was built just two years ago by Pigliavento Builders, and they were responsible for the floor installation. Unfortunately, the vinyl flooring is raised and coming up in the dining room area and creaking in other areas of the same room, and when we reached out to them for assistance, we expected better service, especially considering the warranty should still be in effect.
Over the past two months, we called their office multiple times, leaving messages with the receptionist but never receiving a call back. Each time we followed up, we were told it would take time and someone would get back to us. After four weeks of this, we called again, only to find out the receptionist had lost our number. We continued to wait weeks without any response.
Finally, we managed to speak with a capable representative, Pamela, who took our information and assured us she would follow up. However, the news she delivered was disheartening: because we are the second owners, they would not honor the warranty on the flooring. This is extremely disappointing, especially since the floor was installed only two years ago and is already falling apart.
If you're considering flooring from Carpet One, I strongly advise against it. If you want floors that last, look elsewhere. The lack of accountability and poor customer service make this company a risky choice.

Do not purchase from this company they will double charge you bill you incorrectly they will do nothing to rectify the wrongdoings and order flooring that was not purchased. Please steer away from this place. The quality of flooring does not reflect their pricing! Absolutely stay away from this place you will have better customer service and material from Lowe’s or Home Depot for a discounted rate?

Carpet One & Home has been a Godsend in repairing/replacing my kitchen floor. Greg T. was a great help through my decision process in selecting the new floor for my condo. He offered several options and was very helpful in my selection.
Everyone was very professional, communicative, and easy to work with.
Special shout outs go to Greg, of course, as well as Tamela in the office, and the two gentlemen who did the installation. They were very efficient and thorough.
I am very pleased with the end result. I would recommend Carpet One Floor & Home to anyone looking for new flooring.
