We went through market bistro florist for our wedding flowers since I really wanted to keep it simple so I thought this would be the perfect place. My fiancé and I originally went in person to pick out our flowers and place our order. The associate we worked with was very nice and helpful but unfortunately was only working there in the summer. I was told Mary (the “manager”) would reach out to me in the next week to set up a consultation. A few weeks pass, no call. I sent an email to Mary, no response for weeks. We call the florist hoping to catch her while she was in store but with no luck, told to email her. And so I did but again, no answer for a few weeks (now about a month before our wedding). I had had enough trying to catch the floral manager so I went into the store in person to make sure they even still had my order I had PAID for and to reassure the flowers will be done. Leaving a bride with no communication for months would send anyone into a worry. The nice associate finally got Mary to give me a call where she wasn’t very pleasant; Stating there was an issue with what I had already paid and my bridal bouquet would barely be bigger than my bridesmaids bouquets. Ok, so then why did your associate give me those prices? At that point, this would’ve been nice to know 3 months ago. I digress- Mary and I had set up a time to meet in store. The morning of our appointment (30 minutes before) I get a call from an associate that Mary couldn’t make our appointment because she had a prior commitment. So unprofessional for 1. To make her associate call and 2. Schedule a meeting where I agreed to meet on the time and day SHE decided on. I ended up meeting with an associate because I was so fed up. I just wanted my flowers decided on since time was running out. The associate was very apologetic about our experience and was helpful. Our wedding flowers looked nice the day of and I’m thankful the ASSOCIATES stepped up when the MANAGER wouldn’t. I feel bad for the associates that have to pick up the slack of their unprofessional manager.

They actually have a really good selection. I didn’t realize you could essentially make your own bouquet of flowers. They put their own little spin on it! To me, it meant that much more to give to my Nani. They were prompt and very helpful. They had it delivered as expected, I was very happy with my service.

FLORIST-Horrible!Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Totally and completely unprofessional- terrible customer service! Florist Manager, Mary, should be fired!! 3 days to TRY to get flowers delivered for a funeral and STILL can not complete this order????? Not once did the Florist Manager or associates offer to comp this or comp the delivery-- NOTHING! They completely dropped the ball! Mary, needs to take a class on customer service! She so rudely hung up on me and never handled the situation???!!! I called the store back and spoke with the Store Manager, very nice and knows how Customer Service works! He addressed the issue and without any hessitation comp my 3-1/2 day late flowers. Mary, Jennifer, Danielle- it is not about YOU but the needs of the customer! IF you can't handle your job, obviously you three can't, than do customers the favor and get out of the business your unprofessionalism does nothing but add unnecessary annoyance and frustration to the customer!!!

Ordered 2 funeral arrangements spoke with Danielle - asked the amount to spend - 100.00 for one 60.00 plus delivery so 80.00 - they looked like I purchased a couple of bunches and threw them into a vase no effort there, very upsetting when you see - it was my sister's funeral. Went to speak to central market florist Latham & provided photos too, manager was suppose to call me but never did. Very Disappointed. 2 stars for Danielle's effort over the phone.

I'm really surprised at the two poor reviews. We had our wedding on 9/1/19 and used Market Bistro. We worked with Adam, who was open to meeting with us in person multiple times. He was great to work with and our flowers were absolutely gorgeous for the wedding. No one believed we got them from a grocery store, except our other vendors who mentioned that they aways recommend market bistro.

Our first meeting was with Mary, the floral manager. We felt very comfortable and felt as though we did not have to worry. Six months before our wedding we made an appointment for a consultation to review our wedding details and were told that Mary was out due to medical reasons and that we would be meeting with Liz (Mary's assistant). When we arrived for our consultation we were greeted by Allen. He was very friendly, but unprofessional and all over the place. We could not focus him or get him to see our vision as to what we needed for our wedding. He kept reassuring us that everything would be “okay†but we knew deep down that it was not. He was not sure what some of the flowers were or the costs of some of the arrangements but reassured us everything would be okay, and he would reach out to us after he went over everything with his supervisor Liz. Over the course of the next 6 months we met with him multiple times in person and had multiple phone calls regarding changes that needed to be made to the floral arrangements. We ended up meeting with the florist more than our photographer or wedding planner! He never had any pricing information or information on flowers that may be “unavailableâ€. Five days before our wedding we were notified that the Dahlias were available and that he would call us with pricing information. Three days before our wedding we got the pricing information and were able to pay for the flowers. Two days before our wedding we picked up the cake topper and loose floral for our wedding cake. The ranunculus' were extremely small and appeared almost dead and the colors were not what we were expecting. Upon delivery of our flowers the morning of the wedding my bridal bouquet was a basic bouquet although I ordered a cascade bouquet. We ordered mums for decoration, the red and orange mums were not open- they were simply still buds and unrecognizable. The whole process with Central Market was very disappointing.

This PC hates me. Went back 3x for the flowers I wanted Io be told they weren't in. I need to find some where else to go. Instead of being told to come back I should have been told they weren't shipped.Get it together. They were a birthday gift If I knew that I would have bought them yesterday. Now what??? They didn't offer any replacement flowers either!! Thanks!!

My fiancé and I were recently married at the Century house and we decided to get our flowers at Market Bistro in Latham. My brother, who was married a few years before me, had gotten his flowers there and they were beautiful so there was no question I wanted Price Chopper to do my wedding flowers. We met with Allen and he was fantastic. I showed him a picture of the bouquet I was interested in and he suggested flowers that were would look similar and were in season. He also went over all the details and showing us examples of the centerpieces and also the maid of honors bouquet so we had some visual idea of what he was talking about. Allan and Mary (who was also wonderful to work with and very easy to talk to) texted me a picture of my bouquet to make sure it was styled exactly as I wanted. They did an absolutely beautiful job with the centerpieces and couldn't have asked for anything better.

if there was a negative rating, these people earned it. I tried to order 2 items for sympathy gifts, and requested overnight delivery, which I paid an additional $40 for. Over 48 hours later, still no items delivered, and they made no attempt to contact me to let me know. They had no problem submitting the charges to my credit card, though. I had to call twice to request a refund. Avoid these people at all costs, they are horrible!
