DO NOT send your infant here! They are so horrible to them and they don’t even care. I complained multiple times about the way my daughter was being treated and manager would say “oh we will talk to the staff” .. nothing changes. My daughter would be filthy everyday. She had plenty of spare clothes there and she’d always be so dirty in the clothes she was brought in wearing. they wouldn’t feed her. I’d send in 4 bottles, she would only be fed 2 ALL DAY. She started solids, I’d send in breakfast and lunch they would never feed her lunch. If they did, they mark it she ate most of it but she didn’t even eat any of it. I watched them feeding her a couple bites then put her back on the floor and she started crying because she was still hungry and wanted more. She was there from October until January when I finally pulled her. 3 MONTHS of neglect my poor baby went through! I do NOT recommend sending your child here!! If I could leave zero stars I would!

DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. They take advantage of parents in desperate need of childcare. They also lie about the start date and their availability for when your child will be able to begin attending Childtime of Latham. Do not waste your money putting a deposit down that you will NEVER get refunded back to you. I called twice around the time they Claimed to have availability and I also emailed the family admissions director. Very unprofessional and unpredictable do not waste your , breath time or money on this specific location ! Will try to take advantage of single moms/parents in need .

We are a military family that requires childcare reguarly due our obligations. We put our son on the wait list to start (july of last year) and was told February to March time frame (paid the deposit as well). Recently filled out paperwork for childcare aware program and called to confirm start date. Was told earliest start date was now fall time. We've been lied to multiple times at this point about availability and start time for our son. Childtime of latham is a dishonest and manipulative business that preys on parents in need of child care. They lie through their teeth to local veterans and service members that are in desperate need of childcare, while taking their money and giving them a false narrative. Shame on you.

I truly wish we never heard of Childtime Latham. Due to their inability to keep qualified staff in place we pulled our child from the roster with no backup plan. Infant teachers are either inexperienced or overworked and rude. Little to no individual attention to child's needs or parents requests. Director recently left and with that over a dozen staff members. AVOID!

I was really anxious about putting my infant in daycare but I’ve been thrilled with Childtime in Latham. The director, Ms.Lisa, is great at keeping parents in the loop and was really accommodating when we needed to switch from part time to full time enrollment . My daughter loved Ms. Shakira and Ms.Danielle. She can be a little tough around strangers but they were great at getting her calmed down after I’d drop her off. Ms. Olivia does all sort of neat activities with her class now that she’s a little older. I love the pictures I get sent over the Brightwheel app. Another plus is that this center has cameras in each room that let you check on you child throughout the day. You can’t sit and stream all day long, it has a time limit of half an hour, but it so nice to peak in on her during the day. The staff here really makes the difference.

My son didn't have a teacher here that we didn't absolutely adore. When he started we had been to three daycares already two that we pulled him from. And one who retired. So we had high expectations. He started off in Ms. Katherine's room (pre covid) I was allowed to come and go as I wished and would often stop in the feed my son during the day. Ms.Katherine put all my fears of leaving my baby at ease she often took pictures and videos of him. He eventually moved to Ms. Simone's room, Ms. Simone was very responsive on the app, and personally spoke with every parent at the end of each day to tell you how your child did. We pulled him out of daycare for a few months due to covid. Once he returned he was in Ms. Olivia's class. My son was IN LOVE with Ms. Olivia from day one. During quarantine we taught our son simple signs to help him communicate once in her class Ms. Olivia continued to teach him some sign language. He would wake up excited to go to school he isn't a morning person so excited to do anything first thing in the morning is a big deal. My son ended his time in Ms. Haven's room, he wasn't there long (we moved) but Ms. Haven would do adorable projects with them and even gave me some pointers on how to transition my son into a toddler bed. Leaving was very hard on the entire family and I am sad to say that this level of care is not the standard throughout all of the branches.

Management is HORRIBLE, this place is a joke! Being that the staff is under paid and barely gets bathroom breaks they are miserable so they don’t teach the kids, they just watch them and let them play all day. They don’t clean properly, kids are constantly sick. They take the kids outside EVERYDAY with no regard for the weather. They are always EXTREMELY UNDER STAFFED so the kids don’t get the proper attention or care that they need. The little staff they do have rotate throughout the day so its always a different person watching your child. If you have a complaint and bring it to the directors attention, she does not take care of the problem! She always comes up with an excuse. If you want your kid to learn in a happy, friendly environment this is definitely not the place for you!

Worst daycare I've ever seen. Staff is so rude and unprofessional, they let the less then 1 year old infants self feed themselves and let other infants eat off the floor. They don't clean the toys at the end of each day. They have extremely rude conversations between themselves about other co workers and parents. They are not organized at all with anything. When special needs kids have therapists come they have to sit on the floor in the hall ways to do their work. They tell you that you can't call out or leave to take your sick children to the Dr. I had assistance for my kids to help me pay for the daycare costs and it still cost me 900 a month to send them there. Just a horrible place I hope it gets closed those kids deserve better. Multiple kids were infected with a vrisu because they don't clean enough. Don't ever send your kids here if you don't have to

If your mixed or black/spanish anything other than white stay far away from this place Owners are Racist to the core and it rubs off on some of its employees, at the same time there are really good employees too but they push them away with 10 bucks an hour. And due to the front desk being hired stemming from friendships rather than qualifications the people in charge are pretty unprofessional, they let there problems outside affect the workplace making it a very TOXIC environment. I put in my 2 weeks when my co worker told me I was being watched on camera while there were no kids in the room with me, I felt uncomfortable no one else was being watched but I was targeted. After handing in my 2 weeks they dismissed me and told me to leave right away causing me to miss valuable hours.Everyone with degrees there are making 12 bucks an hour while the ones with personal relationships with the owners are making double.I will admit that a lot of the teacher assistants and teachers are very professional and great workers but a lot of things get swept under the rug here.

My niece and nephew attended North Country Academy in Latham for a very short time. They don’t have enough staff on hand so they can’t give the children the needed attention. I’m glad to know they are no longer attending this daycare.

Wonderful teachers and genuinely caring people from infants 1 and on. Kids always look happy and well supervised. Outside play area seems to be a huge hit. Pricy though.
