The past few months of searching for a home have been stressful. However, finding renters insurance was the complete opposite. My boyfriend and I reached out to Effective Coverage expecting the usual run around of either high rates or impossible to reach staff. But we called the 800 number and were shortly connected to a real person. Her name was Heather and she was the absolute best. She offered us a great rate immediately and was incredibly personable. We probably chatted for thirty minutes about common interests. She almost sold my boyfriend car insurance as well! All in all 10/10 company. Would definitely recommend.

This company is pure fraud. They hook up with crooked landlords like Progress Residential. They begin billing you for renters insurance. Then when you discover their scam, they will only refund you for 3 months because " that is their policy"I bet they make a pure fortune stealing from suckers like me. Such evil people

Someone shot at our home from the outside and ran away. Nobody was hurt but a television was damaged. This insurance company did not cover our damages and said since it’s vandalism it’s up to us to replace our damaged belongings.

I have no idea who these people are or how they got involved with my lease agreement. I have coverage but they're still trying to put a $15 charge on to my rent. It's as if they're trying to force people to pay them for absolutely nothing.

Tried to create a policy with them, only to get sent to an error page. "No problem", I think to myself; their own website says "7 Days a Week", I can just call someone to get it set up. Well guess who didn't pick up when I called on a Sunday! Someone must have forgotten basic math.

I am a leasing professional at an apartment community, and Maria Roberts took so much time and attention with our some of our residents! She even did a three-way call with me and them to make sure our residents had all the necessary requirements on their insurance policy and that nothing had changed (which it did, so her call was very beneficial). She really went above and beyond for them, and she was very pleasant to interact with. It is very rare that you find someone with this level of care and customer support!

We rent through Progress. I am on the lease with my husband, and I've always gotten rental insurance on any home we've lived in with my name listed 1st and my husband 2nd. When we moved into out home EC immediately approved the rental insurance we have through email when I sent it in. All of a sudden halfway through our first month here they started sending my husband emails saying he needed coverage. I've sent emails through his email, uploaded the document via their website and I've gotten ZERO response. I was forced to pay a $15 fee this month because of their unresponsiveness and a $35 fee for processing and immediate payment on rent when I saw that I was either going to be forced to pay the fee or receive a late fee trying to wait for them to get it together. I'm so frustrated because if our coverage was approved it should appear in your system that the address is covered, instead it seems like a cash grab. We are both on the same lease, coverage was approved but them you only emailed my husband about missing coverage?

Justin Smith was extremely helpful with all of my questions and setting me up with a quote and coverage. Justin went above and beyond in his role to provide me with what I needed. If I could give him more than FIVE STARS, then I would. I normally do not leave reviews but in this instance, since Justin was so helpful, I felt the need to. Ben helped me sign up for a policy today, and he was polite, well-informed, very pleasant to work with, very thorough, and at no time did he try to blast me with a firehose of useless information. It was one of the better customer service experiences I've had!

I first got renters insurance from Effective Coverage, I was referred by Progress Rentals for my rent house in Indiana. They provided me a great rate and were very quick to get things going.A few months later I got a quote for auto insurance as it was a great rate as well.The rep I worked with did a great job.

They were fantastic. I forgot who I spoke to but a nice gentleman from upstate NY helped me with my rental insurance and was able to provide a great rate and a savings of $600 based on just going online! Please call they are great to work with!!

Effective Coverage is a great company for all of your insurance needs. This year I have used them for rental insurance, auto insurance including toys (Polaris RZR) and new construction insurance for building a home. It is nice to be able to move across the country and still be able to stick with the same insurance company. Russell Bellamy treats me like family and I highly recommend him.

This Company has excellent Customer Service!!! You will not be disappointed! They will exceed your expectations! (No waiting on hold, to finally speak to someone, off-shore, that barely speaks English!) I had the pleasure of speaking to Russell. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful! He did a great job, helping me to resolve some issues. I highly recommend this Company!
