While shopping today, I was searching for plumbing parts and didn't realize the employees were closing the aisle. A man with a heavy accent rudely demanded I leave the aisle. Before exiting, I inquired about the location of a pipe cutter, but he kept repeating that I needed to leave the aisle without acknowledging my question. This exchange occurred several times until another employee inquired about what I was seeking and guided me to it as I left the aisle.

I am very disappointed in my latest experience with this Home Depot. I ordered an item on line and had it shipped to the store. I had no issues with the customer service desk, they were very quick and dismissive but not rude just seemed busy with not many people in the store. As I went to leave a lady from the self check out came running across with her arms in the air shouting “she is stealing, don’t let that Spanish girl leave” I was in complete shock and stopped immediately and turned. When I attempted to explain I was not stealing that picked it up from customer service she continued to accuse me of stealing in a loud manner drawing attention to not only the customers cashing out but the ones in isles and other co workers. As I searched for my online receipt on my phone, she continued to shout, but now it was that I was a liar, and there was no such thing as an online receipt. When a younger male came up and she then said you deal with her and walked away he looked at me looked at my screen and apologized and said I was okay to go. When I got to the parking lot a couple who witnessed the situation apologized for what happened. I did attempt to call the store twice when I got home. The first time the call rang for 8 minutes with no answer, I waited a bit and called again, after six minutes I spoke with someone who then put me on hold for the store manager. After 10 minutes the call was disconnected. I’m disgusted and disappointed that this is the type of customer service that they allow.

Only because i cant Leave 0 stars. 3 customer service reps standing around in Latham, NY. Not one can help with blinds. Acted bothered. So off to Lowe’s!!!

For the first time in America, I was subjected to insults from a worker until we met a worker named Ali at Home Depot. The beginning asked us: Would you like a Christmas tree? It is free. When we said yes, he started asking us where are you guys from. When I told him I am from an Arab country and my husband is from a non-Arab country, he started saying Are you Muslims and celebrate Christmas? He started insulting us by saying, “There is no power no strength except in God” in Arabic. This is an insult to us because no one has the right to interfere with your religion, even if you are from an Islamic country. This will be the last time I shop from this store because it is not reasonable to go shopping and come back with nerves. Because of this behavior, I could not sleep for the whole night . I did not go to the mosque to ask him for his advice if it halal or haram , and no one has a right to judge people according to their religions, and this is an insult to me and my husband.

I do all my shopping here have been going here for years and will keep coming people are always super friendly and I can always bring my dog they always give her treats never left their unhappy so thank you home depot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am delighted to write this review for Rubina, an outstanding employee who works in the paint department at Home Depot. I recently visited the store, unsure of the exact type of paint and color I needed for a DIY project. Rubina emerged as a beacon of assistance in my time of need.Rubina demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the different types of paint, their specific uses, and helped me select the perfect shade that matched my vision. Her expertise and patience were truly commendable as she took the time to explain the nuances of each paint type, their durability, and the best choices for different surfaces.She was incredibly warm, sweet, personable, and attentive to my needs. She made sure to listen carefully to my project details and accordingly suggested products that would better suit my requirements. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping customers achieve their vision.I feel extremely lucky to have had Rubina's assistance during my visit. I've been going to the store for decades and I'm extremely disappointed as of late. Many employees are not at all helpful. One of the women in the paint center is very helpful. She is knowledgeable and always his time to answer questions. But I have unfortunately needed assistance and there is another woman who gives very little help. For example, ask her to color match and she left the piece to be matched. Just sitting there. There was no other customers. When I asked her if she color matched it. She said it was black. I stated there are many different shades of black. She then looked at me and said it is"black" they also had sales price on some tile. Brought it to the self-check out which was the only thing open and it came up. It's full price. I double checked to make sure it was the same product that was advertised as a sale price. The manager came over and said it was not and I asked him to please check because I know I double checked. I don't even think he'd look. He just came back and said it's not the right product. He was definitely wrong. And another time again a door was marked as 499 it rang up as 1,000. So be very careful and make sure you're getting the price you think you're getting.

If I could give stars separately, I would give 5 stars for Gail at self checkout. She is a dynamo, helping everyone find everything and a big help at the register. The 3 stars is for the non-existent help I got in the lighting department. I was looking for a particular size of covers for my fluorescent lighting, didn't get any help, so found some covers on my own. Got home and tried to install them. They were not wide enough!! Now I have to make an extra trip up to either get a refund or the proper ones. ???Update: Got a refund, went down the block to LOWE'S. They have a variety of styles and sizes in stock. I got the right ones.

Store is a mess with stock blocking aisles everywhere. Dozens of staff milling around and not a single person acknowledges customers nor offers any assistance.Two employees were fighting near the checkout. One employee sounded as if the other reported to them. The fight continued for at least 10 minutes, with customers stepping around the pair to get to the self checkout.The stock we were looking for, and which showed in stock on the Homedepot app, was nowhere to be found.The contrast between Homedepot and Lowes is simply astonishing. If the mission statement for Homedepot contains themes of "Lord of the Flies" then well done!

We just bought a home and was so frustrated with all type of deals and security cameras out there. Me and my husband went to home depot today and found a nice gentleman name Mike Hill from electrical department. He was so amazing with his customer service was so nice to help us with choosing security cameras. I was amazed and glad we found him. He explained every kind out there and made our day less stressful. Thank you for hiring people like Mike who love their job. He is a gem

Waited quite a few minutes to pick an online order, but they did soon add two cashiers and everyone in line was taken care of. Nice and friendly people. Items were easy to find! Looking forward to come for a building project for kids!
