My son brought his dog in as an emergent condition . Poor dog was vomiting and not eating . Lethargic. Very sick. Few questions were asked and they gave an antibiotic shot and he was sent home with pills to take (Hello! He wasn’t eating and was vomiting!) our precious dog died two weeks later of parvovirus. These people are incompetent apathetic jerks!! Run don’t walk away!!!

Kind professionals, although not sure what was actually done at our first visit.

I am not sure that Loved it is appropriate as I was sobbing for a large part of our visit. The staff here were very caring, efficient and thorough. They also made sure to call and text to keep me updated on my sick cat's status and continued after he came home.

I have been with the practice forever, first going with my Mother and our family pets '88-03. When my Minny came to me 12 years ago I didn't hesitate to return. Every single visit was a problem for years. I stayed. Then we got Dr. Shaw. She was amazing. Well we had an emergency. They tried to fit us in and couldn't. We went to the emergency vet down the road. Unfortunately my beautiful Minny didn't make it home. I called the practice to tell them what happened. I was told the emergency vet had called. I asked they remove future appointments and I was assured it would be done. I haven't heard from the practice since. Chewy sent flowers, the ER sent condolences, but I heard NOTHING from Latham Animal until today when I was sent a confirmation text...for an appointment...for my dead little girl. Don't waste your time and money here. Don't. 12 years and thousands of dollars and you can't even sent a form letter on the passing of a patient. This practice should be embarrassed!

They've taken such good care of our dog who has a heart murmur and had heartworm. Only downside for us is the 2.5hr drive.

I chose this place because there were some reviews that were really nice. When my dog got really sick this place did not have the decency to find some time to squeeze my dog in he had cancer and he was almost on his deathbed. If a wet place does not have time for critical animals then they should not be in business. Anyone who love their pets should never go to this wet they have no heart

Our cat does annual exams in this place. When we called last Friday and tried to get an appointment because our cat stopped drinking and eating, instead of taking us in right away, we had to waited until Monday for our appointment. After notifying them that the cat still didn’t eat or drink they did a few tests and prescribed 2 prescriptions, (one says “take it with food”) with the total visit under an hour and a charge of $500. They didn’t give us any constructive advice, kind of just let us wish the cat will heal by herself and have appetite to eat out of sudden. Even though there is a diagnosis, in terms of the solution, they suggest” just wait and see”, “ come back in two weeks”. I had to ask, if the cat doesn’t eat or drink, how is it possible that she will live for another two weeks? Called back again on the following day, explained her condition once again. Front desk said they will have their doctor to give us a call back. Yet until this second, a day after our cat passed, no returning calls received. They can’t not even seize how badly the cat was hurt and ill, they didn’t do anything to help the cat’s illness, they can’t take us in again because they want to let us believe the cat will magically recover by herself, and if anything, please go to the ER to seek for real help. My cat passed away just yesterday, and I couldn’t thank Latham animal hospital more, for not helping, not caring, noting but the extremely expensive charges.

New vet for me. Nice facility, friendly people. Vet explained everything in detail. They have separate entrances for dogs and cats, so my poor cat did not have to share a waiting area with a DOG.

Went there for vaccination didn't get vaccination wanted her nails clipped didn't get that either she had a cold they said they couldn't give her a vaccination they talked about dental work and then told us they couldn't do her nails because she got feisty and we'll talk about it when we come back for dental work I'm just appointed I have never left there before without having her nails clipped no one else had a problem with it and no one else wanted to do dental work so as far as I'm concerned if we go back and do dental work they'll cut her nails I don't think I'll be going there anymore
