Horrible place to live. You will get kicked out if a family comes to visit and you don’t notify. Can’t make a noise either.

The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it has a decent location. Other than that it's over priced and very old.

Looks decent on surface initially, horrible maintenance, rental company gaslights you instead of fixing things properly.Sadly, I had a gas leak in my utility closet , to be told by maintenance that nothing was wrong. Lived that way for a significant period of time before the fire dept checked it at my request. They discovered the gas leak and called maintenance to fix it that night. Maintenance still didn't come for another 24 hours plus. Daughter had her first seizure in her life here which I feel is due to that.Laundry facility floods.Building 21 is like a swamp. Fell on ice on grass and tore 2 MCL's. Basement floods, which they neglected to tell us. They allowed standing water to sit underneath our place for at least 3 week. Kids fell ill. I wheeze. My one neighbor can't use her bathtub. Another has a pilot light the will not stay lit on her stove and they did not fix it.The rent is cheap because the quality is horrible. DO yourself a favor and find something else!

I have been living here for the past two months, and have non stop been harassed. I’ve never wanted to move out of a complex so fast in my life. Awful community and management.

The sidewalks are cracked throughout the complex. That can be dangerous when walking at night, with no outdoor lighting. The sidewalks have been an issue for 5+ years. It is very dangerous and pieces are falling from the roof.

Latham Village Apartments has been my home for five and one half years, now and I have never had cause to complain! Their Staff is professional, courteous and on time with maintenance! In fact, their Staff have made follow-up phone calls to check on satisfaction, which I appreciate. There are private entrances, porches and you are able to plant a beautiful garden outside your place! Their pet-friendly policy is the least expensive I've seen, for apartment complexes, in this area. I think this will be home for a long time!-Margaret Joos

It's apparently not a security deposit, it's a security fee. You will NOT be getting your deposit back. I don't know what their standard for "clean" is but I don't think it exists. I left the apartment two days before the lease was up and they inspected it and told me it was dirty. Fine, I still have another day on the lease, I'll have someone clean it. Since I had moved out of the area my Mom and Dad drove an hour and a half up and back to clean it and take pictures before they left. I had been told if it were clean before the lease was up the charges would disappear. Suzan and Ron didn't even bother to look again. I know they didn't look because Suzan read me a list of dirty items that was exactly the same as before the cleaning. As she was doing reading, I was looking at pictures from after my parents had gone to clean that were exactly the opposite. For example, Suzan: "There's scum in the bathtub" as I'm looking at a picture of a clean bathtub. Suzan: "The fridge wasn't cleaned out," as I'm looking at a picture of a clean fridge. You get the picture (pun intended). The most egregious thing about this whole situation was when I sent her those pictures, her exact response was, "You must have taken those pictures when you moved in." They're time stamped!!! If those pictures show such a clean apartment that you think I took them when I moved in, and then I can prove to you that they were taken as I moved out, shouldn't that mean the apartment was clean up to your standards? This logic just seemed to confuse her. She couldn't even be bothered to get up and take a look herself. Ron, the maintenance manager who also might not be the brightest bulb in the box, had to have it pointed out to him that holes (from mounting pictures) in the walls had been fixed. I do not believe that through this entire process Suzan has been inside the apartment once. That does not stop her from being my only point of contact. All I seem to be able to get out of her is that she's keeping my money, sorry, nothing you can do, the end. In fairness to them, they gave me $60 back for making a stink and to get me to go away. Yay, I can fill up my car. They'll charge you $250 to re-key the locks if you don't give them two keys back when you move out, implying they don't do it anyway. I don't know what the thought process is but I promise you there are at least four missing copied keys to 33-16 somewhere. If that bothers you, don't take the apartment. I won't try to rob you, but it would be super easy for whoever lived in your apartment before to. They don't care about safety, just stealing your money. Also, I was a pretty easy tenant. Rent was almost always paid, in full, a week before it was due via cashier's check. This was during COVID when unemployment, rental relief and the eviction ban were in full swing. I can't imagine how they would treat someone who had the audacity to complain about something. The washing machines don't work half the time. You'll need something washed on a tight schedule and plan everything out so you can run a washing and drying cycle, only to find out that for whatever reason your clothes are sitting in a pool of water. Now your choices are to try a quick cycle ($2.00) with another machine just to get it to spin out the water, or dry the clothes three times ($1.50 each). Five extra dollars every time you need to wash something is not going to break the bank, but the only place on site to fill up the laundry card might be on the other side of the property. It only takes cash, $5 and higher. I couldn't even do laundry the first month I moved in because the machine was out of cards, and no matter how many times I called, they couldn't put more in. In summary, there are other, more honest and well kept places to live in the area. Places that don't charge you $1,000 just for the right to pay them $1,000 per month to live there for a year. Live s

I actually love my apt but I hate living here. Unfortunately there are more downsides than up. Biggest downside being the neighbors.. they make it impossible to live here. I’m surrounded by some very ignorant neighbors. Also, cops are always here.. like every other week. Makes me feel unsafe. Hate to say it but I regret moving here sometimes.

Mediocrity at its finest. The property's location is its best selling point followed by large apartment size. Otherwise management is rude and expects the same from staff. Maintenance will often do the bare minimum when able. If you can afford to look elsewhere, its probably a good idea

A relative lives here. The apartments and grounds are kept neat and clean. Always prompt and courteous service from all the staff there. Very pleasant and safe environment. Close to all stores and services you could need.

So my husband actually lived here when we were dating and from what I saw the experience was amazing. Everything was clean the staff made a point to know every one by name and really treat each person and situation individually the grounds crew was awesome everything was always up to par. The cost for the size was about average and everything worked well
