I always come here after losing my mind at the nearby Home Depot. Some brands are slightly different, but there’s generally enough overlap and proper options to achieve the same goals. And the layout/navigation is slightly better, so that’s a big win.

The Lowe’s in Latham has totally incompetent service in delivery department.They scheduled delivery of cabinets that I ordered online and was to be shipped from the Latham store. They did not show up and didn’t let me know why the further delay. The actual Latham store never answers their phone so calls are answered by a call center in a different state. I was told all items have been ready to be shipped but they were just sitting in delivery section for 2 weeks. This totally screwed up my construction project so my contractor went to pick up the order. I was assured from the call center that checked the computer that all merchandise was ready for pick up. When my contractor got to Latham store it was in total disarray and they only had 2 of the 6 items on the order.Please check my next rave review of the Saratoga Springs Lowes. I live in Saratoga and went to that store for help to sort out this problem. Many associates helped to sort out the problem created by the Latham store and to make sure I received credit back for the merchandise that I didn’t get from Latham store.

Young man name. Jason helped me,,he was very courteous... I couldn't find Ajax but he found me a different cleaner,,which I looked all over for it he stopped me because I looked frustrated ,so he asked what I was looking for ,,I wish there were more young man considerate of the elderly

I was sent by a previous employee who now works at harbor freight in Troy as he was certain they had the driveway markers I was looking for as harbor freight did not (they shouldn’t have let him go). Your store clearly lost a dedicated and customer forward individual, and their store gained one.I arrived at 7:15am. I was specifically looking for driveway markers for winter time. The Attached photo is the advertised price for 10 of the markers. Without the ten pack they are three and change each, so I stood to spend an extra $20.00 if I didn’t look into it. I Did not see a 10 pack per se, so I grabbed 10 individual markers. The manager would not honor the price instead I had to escort the cashier to see the advertised price in the isle, got passed to customer service, then waited for the manager to send his c.s. Rep back out and say “we need to attempt to find the item first”. I was asked to step to the side, and to wait for another staff member to finish blowing the leaves in front of the store after putting out all of the outdoor equipment like snowblowers and such for the Daly business that he was asked to do. I was informed that the item is in “top stock” so somebody had to climb the ladder to go get it so after waiting the Nice young bearded man climbed the ladder and got me the product.Being a former manager of two different businesses myself, I know the importance of reviews, and quality service. This review is not left lightly. In my opinion this was poor management having a customer wait for the very same product that happened to be packaged in a group of 10. I left with my products and a less than satisfactory experience at 8:02am 11/10/2023.You received two stars due to the kindness displayed by the young man who climbed the ladder, and apologized on your behalf instead of hiding like you did in your office. I hope he climbs the ladder far past you in the company and doesn’t forget where he came from unlike most management.In the future, The manager could have come out of hiding to address the issue. The customer service rep instead of making the customer wait could have gone to grab the ladder to go find the product.

Looks as if LOWES Latham, NY needs a NEW Manager to clean up the organization, service and staffing problems. As a customer of LOWES stores for 30+ years with NO problems, I am having a really frustrating problem. I ordered 2 lightbulbs online 11/13/2023 to be shipped to me. I had to navigate around the PICK-UP option to reach the SHIPPING option. The final order included the 2 bulbs, shipping charge and delivery tax. On 11/16/2023, I received a box from Tennessee with 1 lightbulb inside. The paper included showed the order as "1", not "2". I also received several emails telling me that I had to Pick-Up my order at the Lockbox at the Latham Lowes. WHAT??? I called the store 2 days at different times; no answer. On 11/17/2023, I called the Corporate Customer Service. That agent sent "a case to the stores front end supervisor" who was to reply within 24 hours. On 11/18/2023, I called the store at dinner time and reached a person, no name given, who repeated several times that the store is not authorised to ship anything. After the 4th repeat, I got heated up. She said the order record shows "if the customer could not pick-up, refund and buy again." I already paid for SHIPPING once. The store person decided I was being rude, told me have a good evening and hung up on me. I had no opportunity to say that your store screwed up by placing 1 bulb in the Locker. This is the short version!! THE STORE EMPLOYEE , who did offer a standard apology, SHOULD HAVE SAID "WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS FOR YOU". I had already said that I was told that the store manager had to authorize Tennessee to send me a bulb ASAP at no charge. I live 45 miles away. That is $12.00 fuel round trip. I hope LOWES, Latham reads this and calls me.P.S. While writing this, 2 emails were sent to me by the unnamed store employee. One is a thank you for picking up the light bulb, which of course I have not done since it was never supposed to be in a lockbox! The second, a do-not-reply email, is their copy of my receipt showing the purchase of 1 lightbulb with tax. SORRY, that is NOT the receipt I have!! Did this young woman ever believe that what is in the computer is WRONG? Of course not, this customer is wrong!! It's admirable to do what you are told as an employee, BUT, the customer is ALWAYS right, even when they are wrong!! So, you offer to FIX the problem; avoid blaming the customer because computer software never makes mistakes!! At least there is yet another customer service phone number on the receipt!!

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews but I don’t believe companies should offer a service they can’t fulfill. I asked customer service if there was someone to make a key. Yes I will get them for you. Great fantastic service. Then I waited and waited and waited for about 15 minutes. Another customer came up and said a worker told her to use the kiosk. Why offer the service then. I went to Lowe’s because they offer this service and now customers are being told to use the kiosk. This is unfortunate being I was in the area. But also a good reminder why I go to small town hardware stores. They have exceptional service. It’s unfortunate Lowe’s is so big and offer services they can’t fulfill.

First of all as a Army Vet I appreciated Juju and Anthony for being awesome today and helping me load 30 Bags of soil into my car. Also a huge shout out to the night team for giving bags without holes in them. Lastly can't forget the management team to ensure that I get the best service and products available from Lowes Latham!! ? ? ?

There delivery service is awful. The communication is almost non-existent. You ask for a window they give you from 8am-8pm like no one works for a living. They say they can give you a half hour or more heads up they call when they are 5 minutes away and get mad when one water line isn't unhooked and refuse to unhook it or wait for someone else to come and unhook it even though you asked for a heads up so someone would be there. You call the store to speak to a manager and the phone just rings and rings. This is the third time you had to reschedule for one refrigerator.

Went there to purchase a new washer machine. Walked through appliances and not a soul around.Went a second time a week later and two appliance associates told me they didn't have time they were already busy. I bought my washer at Home Depot. They had an associate that actually was working with customers. Sad considering I am a long term former Lowes employee. Things sure have changed for the worst there. I remember when you didn't walk away from a sale.

Hardly any employees staffed in major departments. Trying to get additional items from over stock was impossible and very time consuming. I was told I would recieve a phone call from the pro desk updating me on some items that the store owes me and still no call. Made several attempts to call the store to follow up. Tried the pro desk, the help desk and even the manager on duty. Nothing but unanswered calls. The experience at this store is abysmal.

My husband and I went there to get a few light features for our kitchen. I just want to say the costumer service that Frank provided to us was amazing. He was very patient to explain everything you need to know about the led lights, we’re very pleased by his attitude and attention to details. Thanks Frank just want to let you know that what you do matters.

TL;DR: Customer service has made fridge delivery an absolute nightmare. Delivery driver lied and was an arrogant p***** Went in to order a fridge after mine died, had lovely customer service in the store. Delivery day comes & the driver shows up 40 minutes after the 4-hour window to say that the doorway is too small and that we need to fix it, but he’ll be back tomorrow to deliver. No problem, we take the door & doorframe off to get the additional required space…. For them never to show up. Upon calling customer service, I learned that the driver doesn’t have any say in the delivery date & they haven’t even received that shipment back yet to assess. However, the delivery coordinator will connect with me when they are back in office in two days (Monday). Monday rolls around and by lunchtime I haven’t heard anything, so I call the store to schedule. After attempting to call 4 times in the matter of 2 hours, I got to speak to 3 people who transferred me to a department where the line rang until it disconnected & hung up. I called the 1-800 line around 2pm and spoke to someone there who was lovely and said someone would be calling from the local store in 24 hours to follow up and reschedule the delivery. 2pm Tuesday shows up, no call. I call AGAIN to Latham Lowes & someone picks up and says ‘yeah I need a supervisor to sign off on the reschedule but we’ll put you on for Thursday.’ Thought that it was weird that I didn’t get forwarded to the delivery department as before but figured it wasn’t worth calling back. After I get out of work, I head there in person just to check and make sure I got put on the schedule & will be receiving a call. The same person who answered the phone is there & assured me while it hadn’t yet been put on the schedule (although we had spoken two and a half hours before), he would make sure it was completed by the end of his shift & that I would be getting a call with my 4-hour delivery window for Thursday on either Wednesday night or Thursday morning, but otherwise he could not offer written confirmation of the delivery. Wednesday night comes and goes with no confirmation phone call with the window. Thursday morning (today!) I call to ensure that we are on the delivery schedule, to learn it’s on for the following day. I do not work from home full time & can’t keep altering my schedule for a delivery that never comes. I’m so sick of their poor customer service and have spent three weeks without a refrigerator. I have spent the last week of my life calling & hounding on this to be delivered for it to never show up. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever buy or schedule appliance delivery through this Lowes.
