“We found this school after trying other traditional daycares in the area. This school is wonderful. It's respectful to the development of young children. My child has learned independence and confidence in learning. The teachers are well trained, caring and push kids in a gentle manner to be their best. My child spends lots of time outside and in nature. She has learned so many subject areas in a manner that a young child understands and retains. The owner is easy to work with and maintains continuing education for her staff in the Montessori methods. My only regret is that we did not find this school sooner. Truly a wonderful asset to early childhood education in Clifton Park.”
“Senior lunches are good but portions are a bit smaller than filling. The indoor pool needs fixing but no one can figure out how to raise the money quickly. More programming is needed.”
“We absolutely love Kiddie Academy. Our son has been going for over a year now, and we have adored all of his teachers. They have all been so communicative with us through the good and bad. We wouldn’t feel comfortable sending our kids anywhere else!”
“I have two children attending TI both through the lottery. We love this school so much. When I drop my kids off at school I am filled with a sense of peace and joy knowing they will be safe, loved, and cared for. I find the staff all to be very passionate about teaching and well-suited for their roles. The communication between the teachers, director, and parents is excellent. We get weekly (sometimes more) updates on what they are learning and what is needed from us / is coming up. Although my family is Christian - we love the Jewish aspect of the school. A Muslim acquaintance of mine is also looking forward to sending her child here soon. Personally, my family has enjoyed learning about the Jewish faith and celebrating the Jewish holidays. There are many kids of all faiths, races, and backgrounds in the UPK and 3PK classes. The diversity is wonderful. Packing a vegetarian lunch took a little getting used to but like other reviewers have mentioned my kid's lunches are very healthy because of it. I send them scrambled eggs, PBJ, lots of fruit, nuts (they have nut-free classes if needed), and lots of cheese and crackers. Both of my kids attend TI currently. When one was at daycare and the other at TI it was hard to manage the Christian and Jewish days off as they weren't all the same - but it was worth it because my kids are thriving at the school. Lastly, I want to say that although we have two lottery spots we loved it so much with our first child we put a deposit down for a private spot in the school just in case we didn't get a spot in the lottery. The director refunded the deposit for us when we heard from the district that we had won the lottery again. (The only lottery I ever expect I'll win, and that's okay lol)”
“My daughter has been enrolled for a little over 4 months now and she absolutely loves KinderCare! She’s always welcomed with open arms from her teachers and she’s thriving since being enrolled she has improved impeccably with her speech! Identifying numbers colors and her ABCs! It’s such a relief knowing my daughter is safe and in great care while away from mom. I always knew I wanted her daycare to be at a center and not in someone’s home and I’m so happy I chose KinderCare!”
“If I can give 10-star, I will not hesitate to do so! My toddler daughter loves this daycare center so much, and so do we! The teachers and the admins are super friendly, caring and loving! They provided various activities that fit children's physical, psychosocial and interpersonal needs and they have a super positive vibes that foster children's everyday development. We have no complains at all for the past 14 months attendance. This is absolutely the best daycare center in the capital area!”

The staff are all experienced, kind, and amazing with children! They have rotating themes so the kids are doing different and fun activities every single day. “While the staff that work with the children do a lovely job, the policies set forth by OCFS often run counter to your child's best interest. The policies for Covid-19, will keep your healthy kids out of school for weeks. Unfortunately, there are limited amount of programs for special needs children in this area and they are all funded by OCFS. If it is possible for you to bring your child further south to a program that is not under OCFS, I highly recommend that you do so. Those of us that cannot are struggling to keep our children in school and managing the issues with regression/behavior that we're encountering as a direct result of these policies.”
“My child has been attending Stepping Stone for over 3 years now. Every single one of the staff members there are WONDERFUL!!! It feels like I’m seeing my extended family every time I walk into the building. The staff makes sure all areas are very clean. Wiping down tables & toys constantly, sweeping, dishes, stove, you name it. The bathrooms the toddlers use are cleaner than my house bathroom!No matter where you go everyone is going to have their own opinion. I feel truly lucky to have found a place that I feel comfortable sending my child, knowing that he is safe and well cared for. The curriculum that they use is wonderful! It helps take some guilt away from not being able to be home with him like I was with my first.”

“I was really anxious about putting my infant in daycare but I’ve been thrilled with Childtime in Latham. The director, Ms.Lisa, is great at keeping parents in the loop and was really accommodating when we needed to switch from part time to full time enrollment . My daughter loved Ms. Shakira and Ms.Danielle. She can be a little tough around strangers but they were great at getting her calmed down after I’d drop her off. Ms. Olivia does all sort of neat activities with her class now that she’s a little older. I love the pictures I get sent over the Brightwheel app. Another plus is that this center has cameras in each room that let you check on you child throughout the day. You can’t sit and stream all day long, it has a time limit of half an hour, but it so nice to peak in on her during the day. The staff here really makes the difference.”
