I feel I need to leave this review about the Skechers in Latham. After a disappointing experience at the Albany Skechers—where I spent about 30 minutes trying on shoes without a single greeting or offer of help, and struggled to find my size or the styles I wanted—I walked out frustrated.
A month later, I decided to try the Latham location, and the difference was night and day. I walked in about an hour before closing, and the two staff members on duty greeted me right away, talked with me, asked what I was looking for, and genuinely helped me out. Because of that level of service, my wife and I ended up buying five pairs of sneakers. The atmosphere felt right, and we were treated exactly the way customers should be.
Great job, Latham Skechers—you’ve definitely earned our business going forward.

Worst store ever. Tried to return shoes I never wore, and they lied saying they were “used.” Manager is clueless, rude, and unprofessional — I don’t even know how he got hired. Refused my refund and tried to push a useless gift card. Total scam. Never coming back.

This store is absolutely terrible. I tried to return a pair of shoes that I never even wore, and they lied straight to my face saying the shoes were “worn.” On top of that, they refused to give me my money back and only offered a useless gift card that I don’t want. The store manager was no help at all — completely unprofessional and rude. In fact, the way I was treated was insulting. The staff had zero respect, zero customer service, and zero care for the customer. Why would anyone spend money at a place that lies, cheats, and treats customers like garbage? I will never come back here again and will make sure to warn everyone I know to stay away from this store. Worst experience ever.

Nice clean store, with a large selection of shoes, however it claims to be a wear house, but I found shoes are much cheaper on Amazon

Very nice people, especially Yousaf! He was super helpful and friendly. He showed me around and made everything easy to understand. Anytime I had a question, he knew the answer right away. Really appreciated how patient and nice he was.

Jennifer was very helpful. Asked what I was looking for and assisted me to find the right shoes. She was not pushy and would walk away, allowing me to make my own decisions, without any pressure. Whenever a question, happily answered, Thank you Jennifer. You need more employees like her!

We randomly found this place as we were eating next door. This is a pretty big outlet with tons of styles for the whole family, including clothing. I love that all shoes and sizes are available for you to try on yourself, there isn't really need for employee assistance. We spent nearly an hour here trying various models, the liquidation racks near the back had some great deals.
I've been to other Skechers outlets before and it's usually hit or miss. Really depends on what you need. We walked out with 1 pair of liquidation sneakers that were originally $80 I believe, but came to $44.
My partner found a pair of men's gym shorts that were only $4.97 - a true steal.
There were lots of great deals but sometimes lacking in size. Take your time to walk the aisles.

Shoe was very uncomfortable..no arch support and I tried to return it one day after I bought it and Associates said I can’t get a return.
