After having two bad experiences in one day at other car dealerships, on the drive home my wife looked at Northway's website and saw a pair of used cars that were exactly what we were looking for. She wisely called them to ask if they were actually on the lot and still available, but couldn't seem to get a straight answer. The person on the phone wanted to create an account for her and kept asking information about her name, phone number, etc. Finally, the man on the phone conceded and said that one of the cars was still there.So, the next day we came to look at the cars. We were assigned a young salesman who seemed very pleasant. He couldn't actually find either car were were asking about on the lot, but apparently thought we were looking for a new car. We showed him the website and disappeared to find them. Surprise surprise... one was already sold and the other was so new that it hadn't even been cleaned out. But, I liked what I saw and loved the color so we decided to get serious about it.We ran the numbers and I ended up buying it. I had to come back the next day to pick it up and turn in the plates (which caused a bit of a problem as I couldn't unbolt them from my car, which lead to them offering a trade value for my 2005 relic with nearly 200,000 miles)! That aside, the used car was everything I was looking for and I am really happy with it.I have purchased two Toyotas from here, one new in 2008 and one used just now. I hate car buying but thankfully don't have to do it often. I understand that the new car market is tough (I overheard one salesperson saying that if a new car were ordered it would take months to arrive), and the used car market is just as bad. But, if a dealership is going to show cars on their website they should update it daily to remove cars already sold. Beyond that, I am pleased with the experience here.

bought a 2020 RAV4, very pleased with the car itself definitely not pleased with the service manager , first visit was several attempts at calling service department from the number provided on the website failed attempts with the first service. This should have yielded me to go back when returning for a second visit was told I would be charged for a tire rotation that the service manager promised would be free. Miscommunication between staffing happens. The customer service relations should always be pleasant and not have you feel like you're at fault. When questioning, my warranty was told, the service department could not help me with that and I would have to speak to accounting, accounting told me service advisor most certainly should be able to give me that information they just didn't want to be bothered. To end my experience, the service manager verbally came out in front of everyone in the waiting room and was not only rude but unkind . (asking questions on a $1800 warranty shouldn't be an issue !)No one should feel belittled like that . On a positive not Bob the attendant was very sweet as was the check out receptionist. service department should take a lesson from them !

My daughter brought her highlander in for a growling problem in the left rear. We were told that the problem was in the transmission. If we were to replace that we should go ahead and replace the entire drive train to the tune of $10,000. I drove it to ABC Transmission. He replaced the left rear wheel bearing.

Today, 2/16/23, we brought in a company fleet car for service which included changing 4 tires and disposing of the old tires. The service area REFUSED to take the old tires and gave no explanation. This is covered under the contract but Northway Toyota doesn't appear to care. My local mechanic puts rings around this lousy place. Of course we had to wait over two hours for this very basic service with an appointment. So, Manny why don't you honor the contract and pick up the old tires at my house? I would give 0 stars if I could.

So this dealership has REALLY disappointed me. My boyfriend got a rav4 from this dealership in September and it's been absolute hell ever since. We've been to the dealership 4 times to fix MULTIPLE issues with the car (it is used,) and they keep giving us the runaround about if the repairs are covered under the warranty and the fact that he got the damn car in September and it's already having problems. We've fought them throughout this whole process that the repairs should be FREE especially after the complete incompetence of getting the car. He agreed to buy the car and they kept telling him to pick it up the next day. He went to the dealership like 4 days in a row and they didn't have it ready. Finally, they had it and now every time we have to deal with them, there is STILL miscommunication and total confusion. I will never buy a car from them after this experience.

I'm not sure why I have to chose a star as it should be 0 stars this place is so awful. Awful service, awful feedback; awful everything. They advertise things for a van that they can't even figure out lol

Purchasing a new rav4 was quick and easy. They made buying a new car as enjoyable as it can be, besides offering some free food, which other dealers do and is a kind touch during all the waiting. But the service! Ruined the whole experience... went back for the 5k service and they said it's just a tire rotation and takes less than an hour. 1 hour and 18 minutes later found out they haven't even started. They don't respect your time and make you respect theirs. On the upside, they are responsive and did wash the exterior.

We are currently at this dealership waiting for my boyfriend's Camry Hybrid. The service is excellent every time. They are fast, friendly and honest. His car is still on the two year Toyota Care plan he was given during Toyota-thon in 2020. They gave him a great price for his trade in and a great deal on the car he has. I drive Hondas usually or I would deal with them myself. Recommend if you have or want to buy a Toyota.

The only issue I had was actually scheduling service. I originally did an online chat to set up an appointment and was told someone would call me soon. They never did. A week later I received a text instructing me to respond if I wanted to schedule service. I did, but again, never heard from the dealership. Finally, I just called.

Now...inventory is at an all-time low for most cars for sale, used or new. Which might explain the unexpected poor customer service at this dealership...maybe they figured if we didn't spend our hard earned money there...somebody else would be right behind me who would. Still though...Northway Toyota has a very nice facility so I figured okay to give them my business ...big mistake on my part. I mean who keeps a customer waiting almost an hour past the appointment time to take money? Who fails to deliver a NEW car without a full tank of gas? Who was so inflexible to make minor accommodations to satisfy the customer? Northway Toyota is who....and many more unprofessional gaffs. The car, by the way, is wonderful...just wish the same could be said for the dealership.

Service was able to get the replacement gas tank for my hybrid RAV4 very quickly, and schedule the replacement, including a loaner, efficiently.

I had such a great experience bringing my vehicle in for a recall. Justin and Lou were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Latham Toyota has such a friendly atmosphere - I really feel like they care about me and my family! Thank you Justin and Lou!

Omigosh! What a fantastic car buying experience from beginning to end! I had been to Johnstons Toyota in Middletown [the polar opposite of Northway in terms of service and sales], called all the local dealers, and by luck and good fortune, I contacted Northway and got Anthony Papa. By far, Anthony is the hardest working, honest, easygoing salesperson I have ever dealt with and I'm no spring chicken. Just got my 2018 Rav 4 XLE and I am in love! Toyotas ARE the best; this one is my family's 7th, all different models and trucks too. But when the sales experience is what I just experienced today, it made it all the more wonderful. Anthony and Dylan from parts [another gem from Northway] drove my Rav down to me and made my day. Literally, they go out of their way for their clients. God bless you, guys.
