I don't know what happened to this store but good lord this was a bad visit. Shelves (especially in the makeup department by the registers) was in complete disarray. Every single brand's display had other brands mixed into every shelf, tons of not most of testers missing, open products thrown around, and it looks like the store has not gotten in any stock in weeks. How is every single Juvia's Place lipliner is gone? Same with Milani (except for 1 color.)Even worse - employees here know nothing. A employee did ask me if I needed help (which I appreciate) but did not know what dry texture spray was for hair. Instead of admitting that, she kept suggesting products to me that were not dry texture spray, but hairspray, mousse, and not one item of what I am looking for. I tried to explain to her several times what dry texture spray was, but she didn't seem to understand. After about 10 minutes of her showing me inappropriate products (and finding some on my own throughout her path to try to find products for me) I just told the employee, thanks but I'll just look on my own.Yikes. Ulta clearly needs to pay their employees more and staff their stores more accordingly. If you expect people to purchase $50-$60 beauty products in your stores, then display your store as if you're actually worth spending that much on one item there.

Expired Makeup on Shelves: Bought the L’Oréal 24 hour infallible foundation from this ulta and it broke me out after one wear. Never had this issue with L’Oréal before. I checked the bottle & it had been expired since September 2023 yet it was still sitting on the shelf. Maybe my fault for not looking at the bottle well enough before buying, but an expired foundation that can collect bacteria and cause issues for the skin shouldn’t still be on the shelves. Waste of 18 dollars.

very poor customer service. tried to get a pickup order and had to go through the line to even be acknowledged by staff. and then directed to go back where i was. if i hadn’t have said anything they would have continued to ignore me.

I was in the store for 30 minutes. Not a single employee asked if I needed help or assistance. So I was unable to make a purchase. I tried to get a 3 different employees attention. But to no avail. Their attention was "elsewhere". Too busy chatting. The guy at the register also didnt acknowledge me. So I walked out. Thanks for nothing!!

Used to work here before covid. Loved the job, to this day my favorite job. I stopped in tonight to grab some things and was surprised to see how things have changed. Still great energy and fun atmosphere but there was a girl in the back who I believe was a part of the "truck" team. She was in a full gray sweat suit, by skincare and had an airpod in while putting product on the shelf. I asked her if she could double check for the 12oz size of the Purity Cleanser (me knowing that overstock is usually in drawers, or maybe its in one of the boxes she was unloading) she said no we don't carry it in that size. Odd... the price for it is advertises as well as the one that is the tester is in that size as well. And when I worked there I know they had that size because I was responsible for the prestige skin section as well as testers were usually made with shelf product. She didn't seem to care much. Anyway I got a different size. I don't know if the new manager is aware of how the girl was dressed and was listening to music but I know the dress code is strict.. as well as the rule was you can wear sweats and have headphones in outside of business hours.. not during. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

Very PROFESSIONAL stylist by the name of Laura D, took a quick look at the mess another ulta stylist left me with. She explained what I could do, which was much, but not her fault. She recommended vitamins to grow my hair out faster, because I was ROBBED over 20 inches of hair taken from me, with a HORRIBLE WOLF CUT. I almost lost faith in Ulta, but because of Laura. I will be returning to this store for all of my ulta need. And the whole crew in that store was absolutely fabulous. See you guys soon!!

The manager, Nicole, was one of the most helpful people I’ve ever worked with at an Ulta (or store in generally really). She was so knowledgeable and excited to help me. This will be the Ulta I go back to every time now.

The staff is super friendly, quite funny actually. I’m not very cool to my daughters anymore and so they always connect on some level with an employee. Great merch also.

I’ve gone to 3 Ultra’s in the capital district and this one is my fav! Just so easily navigated. Jasmine B is the only woman I go to for the brows, she eats down!!! Every time. She’s awesome and probably the only person I’ll go to for my brows as long as she’s there! Super friendly, personable, professional. Definitely recommend.

I was displeased with my visit today to this Ulta location. Upon looking around the store, I could not find the specific product I was looking for. As I made my way to the checkout counter, Courtne, had asked me if I needed help with anything and I had said not in the moment. Upon remembering to ask about the product I had inquired from this sales associate and showed her the picture of the Cicaplast Baume B5 by LaRoche-Posay. Without bringing me to the section with these products or even looking through inventory for this product, she instantly shut me down with a rude “No”. I do not appreciate the rude customer service I received today. I’ve been to plenty of Ultas within the area and haves never left so displeased with my visit. I would suggest finding an employee who values their job and the services/task that come with their position.

Been there twice. Both times they were "out" of the items I came for. Clinique products should always be in stock if you are a distributor of their products!!! No help there...one "sales person" on the floor was helping someone else with another outage. I waited only to learn they didn't have Clinique eyeshadow in stock. Useless. Waste of time and gas.

I prefer Ulta over Sephora. They have way more of a selection and they have sales more often!!!
