Best Dollar Tree in NY in my opinion. So clean and organized

They are running this location to the ground. There’s an employee there that argues with customers every time I walk in. she has short hair, usually in a frizzy ponytail. and she’s super skinny and dark skin with glasses. Her attitude is horrible. I pray one day she realizes that she is the problem. when I went yesterday she was cursing about a guy telling her to Ring him up after she turned off her lights on him saying she’s going to lunch. She then proceeds to say how she will Get her dad to beat the customer up. It’s very distasteful To witness an employee represent the store in this manner. The manager, which is really heavyset and has no hair is no better. I can see why she hired the employee because they are like the same person in two different bodies. If one is not there, the other one is there so the experience is always hostile because they stomp around the place complaining about everything. I have never had a personal experience with them because I do not entertain drama, but I’m writing this review in hopes that someone takes control of the energy in this place. I watch how they treat people Every time I walk in. Praying those ladies heal!

The manager Lynn is always helpful and nice when customers give her a real hard time that’s when it’s different. Otherwise she’s great but have patience. I just read a lot of reviews about the manager, being very nasty. It isn’t the customer’s fault, but she is overloaded with besides being the manager, having to stock shelves, etc. and I hear they overload her with a lot of hours sometimes that’s a good thing when money is needed in general but there were times they asked her to work 12 to 14 hours a day so it might just be the owners of that establishment that’s to blame more than the workers that’s all. I’ll say on the stores behalf thank you for listening.

Customers are dirty and working there wasn't a problem but one thief comes to the store to steal and staff isn't allowed to do anything to anyone stealing let alone if the same person threatens a staff member. Customers make the store dirty by taking some of the items off the shelf such as refrigerated drinks and snacks and some don't pay. Some would leave an ice cream out the freezer on a shelf and a staff would have to take that very ice cream and damage it out. Customers are ignorant, ungrateful and misunderstand that Dollar Tree Regional managers refuses to allow the staff to work more than the provided hours. When inventory comes us staff members are mandated to stay till everything is packed out along with cleaning the store. Everytime a section is restocked and clean, the next few hours a customer begins a mess and others follow. Customers assume the store is dirty but don't understand that some people enter the store with outside food and drinks and purposely leave trash in the store when there's more than four garbage 🗑 cans by each register. Worse Customers I ever dealt with. Some Customers are understanding and grateful when given help. Not saying the staff is perfect but there's two sides to every story. Customers have no manners nor respect.

What are the best dollar stores staff is what it is.
Compared to Dollar trees in the hood, the store has a ton of stock
They don't have stuff hidden behind the counter like at Dollar Tree East 116th Street, or lack of inventory like Myrtle wyckoff Dollar Tree.
Yesterday, Sunday they were wiped out of inventory it's the end of June so hopefully they're on it today.

I don't understand why they put a price and when you go to pay they tell you it's another price; the label said $1.25 and they're charging it at $4.

I went to this store to purchase 6 balloons.I waited on line and asked the cashier was anyone available to blow up balloons.Her response was I am.I asked for the item number that I needed. She rudely grabbed some balloons that were already inflated to say that the number was already inflated to just pull them down. Went to the deflated bin to show the color that I needed which were not among the already inflated. The cashier yelled at the top of her lungs for me not to touch the merchandise being extremely harsh and rude. I will never ever set foot in this store again. The customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I don't know how this store stays open. The cashier and the manager were cursing and being extremely vulgar.The date this happened was May 1si 2025 at around 1pm. Their was 1 cashier on duty. She needs to be fired immediately.

They need to fire the “MANAGER”. This is not a professional setting, it feels like I’m at war walking in here. will not return if that untamed human is still there.

Manager is very rude, and not a team player. There is always one cashier, as a manager she should get on the cashier also. The lines be all the way to the back of the store. Ridiculous!!! Place needs new management ASAP!!!!
