Our original florist failed to show up for our wedding, and we found out at 1:30 PM on the day of our wedding that we would have no reception flowers at all. Our venue immediately called Doris the Florist and explained the emergency. Doris was literally about to close her shop for the day, but instead of turning us away, she stepped in and somehow made magic happen.
With essentially no notice and using what she had available in the shop and in her fridge, Doris created centerpieces for all 11 of our guest tables, two beautiful arrangements for the bars, and an arrangement for our sweetheart table, and had EVERYTHING completed and delivered to our venue before 4:30 PM.
When we walked into our reception, we honestly could not believe how beautiful everything looked. You would never, ever have known that the flowers had been put together in a matter of hours because of an emergency. They were absolutely gorgeous, fit our wedding perfectly, and completely transformed the room.
What Doris did for us was so far beyond good customer service. She took what could have been one of the most upsetting parts of our wedding day and turned it into something beautiful. She had no obligation to take this on, especially at the very end of her workday, but she went completely above and beyond for two people she had never even met.
We will never forget her kindness, talent, and willingness to drop everything to help us. Doris truly saved the day, and we are forever grateful. If you are looking for a florist who is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely cares about people, I cannot recommend Doris the Florist enough. 10/10, a million stars. ❤”

The centerpieces and other arrangements were full, organic-feeling, and captured the soft romantic vibe we were going for.
