I order my groceries to be delivered from walmart, I was using the farmingdale location with no problems until I moved. Now this is the closest one to me so I chose it so the driver doesn't have to drive as far and I have had nothing but problems since switching stores. Every delivery has been delayed. One time it was delayed for hours, finally said it was on its way, then out of nowhere said it was ready for curbside pickup. I had to call customer service and they said they had no idea how this happened but all they could do was cancel my order. So I had to reorder everything for the next day and didn't have my groceries that day. Then the next time after that, I ordered my groceries (which I always place the order the day before by the way) and once again it was delayed. We waited for 5 hours with no updates or anything until I finally decided to reschedule it for the next day. The next day comes and once again it is delayed for 3 hours! When it finally comes, literally half of our groceries were missing. It was a $190 order and we got maybe $70-$80 worth of groceries. We called up customer service saying we wanted a refund for the poor service and not getting our groceries but they only offered $10! Finally after bargaining with them we had to go through and read off every single item that was missing and they refunded us those items. This store sucks and I will never order from this one again.

I generally don't have any issues shopping here, or returning items when I need to. But, that changed recently when I needed to return an item I had bought the day before. I had found the item on the table that is set up near the registers. This table has various items from different departments on clearance with yellow clearance stickers on them. The item I had purchased was some sort of coated wire cable that I thought I could use for something, but turned out it wasn't going to work for what I had intended. I went back the next day with unused item intact in its packaging and the receipt. Man behind counter immediately tells me I cannot return clearance items. I said "since when"?. He says I see your beginning to get upset, a way of him saying that I'm beginning to get bent out of shape. I said I'm beginning to see I'm getting some nonsense. And he proceeds to lecture me on how this is a clearance item, and we just want to get rid of it, suggesting it came from another store, blah blah blah, and how he'll do it this time, but I should remember for the next time. This man's arrogance was beyond belief. How is it my problem which store it may have come from originally? How is it my problem how this wal mart came into possession of this item, puts it out for sale, without any visible sign(s) posted that clearance items are non-returnable. While this was going on, another worker came over, a short Indian woman wearing glasses, who was glaring at me. He says to her, do we have any no return signs by the clearance table? The arrogance, the condescension, the dismissiveness, coming from this man was beyond belief, I don't know who he thinks he is. He's a big fat nobody, with delusions of importance or authority, who makes up policies as it suits him, that have no basis in reality. Of course later on, I spoke with a woman who really is the manager, who was sincere and genuinely apologetic about my encounter with this person. I have noticed this man at other times when shopping there by the registers. He seems to be quick to butt in , watching, and being intrusive when he's not even asked for any assistance. If I ever have to return an item here again, and this man is at the customer service counter, I will not lower myself by doing any transaction with him, because I will not give him an opportunity to put in his two cents about a simple return. He's quick to speak, and quick to judge, and rude and obnoxious. I will ask for someone else to help me with what I need to return.

First time since pre COVID and pre AI RENOVATION. The registers seem to be better than before it's still kinda busy but if need not to to East meadow might be worth it.

Awfully managed idea of a supermarket Difficult to get any type of assistance when needed. Some prices may be less than other store prices but many others are actually higher .During peak times carts are difficult to find too..You're better off using circulars and digital coupons from any 2 other supermarkets and you will do much better!! Quality wise too! Some of their Great Value foods are awful!

It has all the items and expected price range for any Walmart store. I found the fresh food market to be not as cheap as I expected, where sale prices at local groceries beat. I do like the Walmart chain, but I also which they would have weekly sale items to compete with other grocery stores in the neighborhood.

They have a good assortment of things, good prices aswell, but the reason I'm giving this Walmart a low rating is because of a very rude staff member, I don't know what his name is but he's a white male with glasses and kind of a red beard. I asked him where an item was (since I was skimming the area around him) and he proceeded to give me attitude and even scoffed at me afterwards in his response. I didn't talk to him in a negative tone or anything but it was incredibly backhanded for no reason. Staff, please fix this, it made me not want to come to this location anymore.

I can't really say too many negative things about this supermarket. In my opinion, they have a better variety of items than most other supermarkets in the area and their prices always seem to be just a little bit lower. The store is kept pretty clean with the shelves usually very well stocked. I like that they are open to 11pm on weekdays so it makes it convenient if you hate shopping during peak hours of the day.

This neighborhood market is a condensed version of the retail giant's nationwide super stores with the following extra benefits: 1) Smaller store that is more organized and everything is easier to find. 2) Shorter, much shorter walk from the easy access parking lot vs the two football field hike. 3) Same availability of items perhaps more likely to be in stock here vs the 2 nearest Mega stores in East Meadow ( 1.5 miles west) and Westbury ( 5 miles north and west) per my recent experience. 4) A team member in any department is almost always in that area stocking. Bigger store have to track down or have an employee paged to come to that section. Have waited 10 minutes previously at the Santa Clarita, Ca Walmart. 5) This market is conveniently located on Hempstead Tpke 3 minutes east of the Wantagh Parkway and 3 minutes west of Best Buy, BJ's, Kohl's, TGI Fridays, Old Navy and the Nassau Mall. They open at 6 am which is so convenient. This morning Karen was the cool front end cashier who I had a great conversation with. Thank you for your spunk and your great service. They have a few lanes for self checkout as well.. The two employees who were stocking in the beauty section also were very cordial and helpful and walked me to the items. My mother uses this shampoo by Tresemme which this store carries. $6.98 for the big bottle( photo) vs $12-16 elsewhere. The bananas were fresh, ready and priced well at 52 cents per pound. Yardley soap ( 3 in a box for $2.47 vs $1.25-$2.75 per individual soap at other competitors); the Arrid extra dry deodorant for this shweattee baistahd was $1.36, almost half of what I have paid in the past. This is just a small sampling. I like this market for the 1,2 and 3 in and out. Back in 2 weeks, at 6 am.

My kids call this Walmart "the COLD Walmart" because it's colder than all of the other Walmart's we've been to! This is also how we differentiate them apart from one another lol In other words, my kids love coming here with us! Well, they love tagging along with us to simple non-fun places for now hehe This Walmart has most of the grocery items that we need at home! Highly recommend this Walmart if you need strictly food items!

I'd heard about this "Neighborhood Market" for a while, and how it's super high tech. With cameras and a giant server room. But honestly? It's pretty disappointing. I guess the shelves stayed stocked. But their overall inventory was pretty small, especially for household goods. Pretty good meat selection and general groceries though. Not much in the way of fresh produce otherwise. Prices are generally pretty good.

The only Walmart I know of that has grass fed beef. Almost never a line in the mornings. Great parking too.

I don't know why I keep giving this place another shot. Made the mistake of going on a Sunday afternoon, trying to look at an item that was blocked by the stock persons cart. Stock person just watched as we struggled to see the selection, like he enjoyed it. Had an issue at self checkout with no price on item, took 15 mins for them to correct the issue. It's pretty bad when an employee tells you that they are not doing enough sanitizing, the self check out belts are filthy the payment screens are not wiped down as they are on other stores. Only wipes when you walk in, no carts being cleaned. I am done with this dump!
