Plenty of sales but nothing that's on sale is in the store. No chicken on the shelves- like nothing!!! Their self scanners not working . Crappy store and I'm a loyal stop and shop customer

It is quiet ironic that this location comments “We value our customers, so we want to make sure we're providing excellent service “ however when something occurs they are unreliable, misleading and do not take any accountability. I am a frequent customer at stop and shop and visit this location often as it is in a prime location. When I went to get my groceries my vehicle was damaged by either a vehicle or a cart. When I went to my car the employee collecting the carts outside was yelling “chicken, chicken, chicken” but I paid it no mind. I saw the damage to my vehicle and went inside where I spoke with the front store manager and an employee, Ed and Max. I advised them of what occurred and at first they were helpful, that turned out to be deceiving. They came out and I showed them where my vehicle was, they took down notes which included my vehicle make, year and model, color. They told me that they were not able to look at the cameras which I understood. They said the only people who had permission to do so was risk control or the police. The employees of stop and shop told me that they would check the footage for me the following week when risk control comes as they come once a week, and to not bother calling the cops as they have other matters to attend to, we agreed that there were bigger things happening in the world, and I agreed because the employees seemed trusting and they were right, in the state our society is in, there are more pressing matters. In addition, the employee advised me that they would call me with whatever information they received - either if they could see what happened to to my car or not so I could proceed with the next steps as the video last for a month.After that conversation the silence began. They would not return my calls, the calls would get disconnected and I was essentially ghosted. I finally got in touch with the front store manager a month later. He proceeded to tell me he remembers me and my incident but he states he never told me he would call me back. I advised him not only was I present, their employee but also a third party. He stated that frankly he didn’t bother looking into it. He stated that he didn’t know if the footage was still there. Two minutes later he stated that their storage is big and to not worry that the footage is still available. I asked him which one was it and he stated he didn’t know, he wasn’t trained in that. My thing is if you don’t know the information why make something up, why not simply say I don’t know and ask someone who those - that’s the pinnacle of customer service not making fake promises or incorrect information. I asked for the stores insurance information as someone will have to obtain the footage and he stated he didn’t have it he’d call me and guess what nothing.I finally spoke to the manager at stop and shop John who stated that he didn’t know why that information was given to me. He stated that the manager should’ve told me to call the cops cause no one can access the footage. He stated he will call risk control to review the footage. To wait 24/48 hours but to no shock I have not heard back yet.Overall I give this store a 1 because of the customer services. The employees here although it may not be all of them, are dishonest. They do not try to help you, they try to cover themselves. Instead of helping a customer who constantly shops at this location they led me on a wild goose chase. I would recommend you go shop down the block at another supermarket or travel a bit to a different stop and shop because I would hate for you to go through a similar awful and frustrating experience. I am deeply dissatisfied with this stop and shop, it’s quiet surprising.

Interesting place! Good place to run to if you need something quick and live nearby. Interesting sense of decoration the people have there. Some walls with random babies on them. Whenever I walk by, I feel like some of the photos with red eyes are staring I to my soul as I look for the least crushed Italian bread loaf. One pro, however, that I, as a gum connoisseur, can really appreciate us the wonderful selection of gum by the registers. Pricy, but gum doesn't come cheap!

Stop and shop, or as commonly referred to as stop and rob, are plentiful all over long Island. All locations have ample parking. Stores are normally clean and shelves are typically stocked fairly well. Stop and rob at all locations to my knowledge have at least a deli, fish counter, butcher and bakery section. Weekends sometimes help is scarce, as well as evenings. Prices for most things are typically fair. Sales are sometimes very good discounts. Vegetables and fruits always look healthy. Stores normally have a good amount of registers open for checkout, not limited to the self checkout section. What stop and Rob lacks, the fish counter has a smaller selection than other markets (king kullen, shop rite). On the positive side, most stop and shops have lobster tanks for live seafood. Also, stores have taken on digital coupons, which I find to be an annoyance. These coupons have to be loaded onto your store card. The biggest negative is stop and shop is guilty of not fulfilling sales. Numerous times I've seen items on sale that are either hard to get or a good price and the shelves are bare. They had st Louis style ribs on sale and I went to FIVE (5) different locations. Only one had them and the ones they had were cut up, which were useless to me. Most recently it was pork shoulder on sale, not a trace. This has also been the case with lobster and most recently coho salmon. It's very disappointing when that's the sole reason you're there. Not that I partake in the culture, but s&s has a organic brand (nature's promise) which seems to be fairly good quality. They have a wide selection of this, so if that's your thing, you might save a lot compared to whole foods. Their staff is also very friendly. Why stop and shop puts things in circulars is beyond me, unless they are making a list of things they won't stock

I am just visiting this area. The store seams clean well stocked. I can't say about there employees only used self checkout.

I started going here because lately I have been disgusted with king kullen and I just love this store!! Their prices are so much cheaper than KK and their produce department is amazing. I will not shop anywhere else.

Shopping carts are old and wobbly.Shop hand held scanner cannot bring up clipped coupons.
