The fish fry and fries were dried out.I picked it up from the Cafe right away so it was not sitting on top of the pizza oven drying out. They threw some old food in the box and sold it to me.The coleslaw had two big chunks of the cabbage core in it.Seriously Tops!!!!!

Worst store to ever shop at. Aside from the rude teens working here to the old clueless manager who never knows what's what and countless trips to return putrefied meat and decomposed fish. Their Western Union NEVER working at this location is just what triggered me to finally review this place. I'm not sure how is it possible they are still in business but someone needs to take a serious look at what's going on here. A day later after having the pleasure to talk to Anthony ,The owner he decided to ban (and threaten )me from the store for complaining about the expired food he declined he sales here (even though he did not see or smell what I returned) and about the rude employees, they can continue to be rude as training is obviously not a practice here. Fingers crossed on what you decide to buy here...

Last year, I was shopping for bananas the Tops Maple and Transit location. After I inserted my phone into the front pocket of my shorts, the mobile phone fell to the floor. As I was about to pick up the phone I noticed a working heading in the path where the phone fell a few feet away. The worker, wearing black shirt with a red collar, was dangerously close, so instead instead of reaching down to pick up my phone I told the worker "I dropped my phone" and "watch out." Oblivious to my commands, the worker ran over my phone with the cart, causing two of the four wheels of the cart to knock the flimsy cover of the phone and and cause damage to the screen and stylus. Judging by the colors of the employee's shirt I was certain it was a Tops employee who had damaged my phone. I called Tops customer service explain what had happened but they insisted that they reviewed video of the incident and insisted that it was not a Tops Employee they view in the incident, but a Coca Cola vender and they were not responsible. I had no idea how it would be possible that representative of Cola Cola would be pushing a cart carrying produce into the produce department. She along with other representatives told that a representative of Coca Cola's insurance provider would be in touch with me and warned that I could that I could be responsible for committing fraud. When I got in touch with Coca Cola's insurance representative I was stunned how unprofessional she was. I assumed she had access to the very same video the Tops employees had allegedly viewed and insisted she view it. "Check the video," I said. She then replied "yeah, I'll check the video," with a hint of sarcasm. I said it may not have been a Coca Cola employee because the person maneuvering the cart was wearing a shirt like most Tops employees commonly wear. I then asked what she saw in the video. After asking. She then revealed to me that there was no video and the call ended abruptly thereafter. Following the call, I continued to call Tops' costumer service to inform them what happened , insisting it was Tops and not the Coca Cola Company that was respnible for the damage of my mobile phone. To this day, I was compesated by Tops with not even a ten-doller gift certificate. It's really a shame how petty Tops has become.

I love this Tops. It’s not too big, but has a nice selection

There's not much grocery competition in Lewiston, so this is your best option, and it's not a bad one. Its a big store with a decent bakery and lots of selection. The place is pretty clean and well organized. Checkout staff is decent and they are pretty quick, though I like the self checkouts the best. Parking is always abundant and easy.

I love this grocery store, I've been buying groceries here for years. In recent years I've been buying many groceries elsewhere because of the price (my favorite bacon costs a full $4 less per pound somewhere else). However, this grocery store is very clean, and you can tell that there's a lot of love put into this business. The shelves are stocked, the employees are nice and any time I've had an issue they've taken care of it immediately. Tip: be careful with the Rotisserie chicken. This particular location has sold me several chickens represented as fully cooked that were mildly bloody in the middle.

Manager TOM is so rude and unprofessional. He interrupted me multiple times and has a definite attitude problem. I will never shop at this tops again due to my interactions with manager Tom. I don't know how someone so rude could mentor others. It was as though when I was speaking if any thought came to mind he would just blurt it out right then. Has this man never held a reciprocal adult conversation? As an actual professional I found the whole thing baffling. When I stopped letting him interrupt (by continuing to talk over his interruption) poor little manager couldn't handle it and actually HUNG UP! Wow! He can't even take constructive feedback from your customers. Honestly, this person seemed really low IQ but hard to say because I guess it's hard to pick up on anything when you aren't listening in the first place derrrr won't be back. I guess that's what I get for trying to shop at tops. *If you are the owner and you would like to hear my phone recording of this man, please reach out. I will be sending it to corporate tops so they will be aware. Shame on the owner for electing such poor leadership. A houseplant could do better. One of the "kids" you have working there would even do better.

I only shop here when I have forgotten an item at a different grocery store. Great for picking up one or two items. They are priced way to high . Make sure you watch items being rung up. At least 4 times the sale price or the price on the merchandising sign did not ring up. They then argue with you and don't believe you when you tell them it rang up wrong. I even went back to the display, took a pic of the sign and showed them. Not even an I'm sorry sir. Produce selection and freshness is not the best
