Beautiful, by the sea, welcoming place. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely would recommend.

I am reviewing again because I don't see my original one. The Malibu team always deletes anything that isn't positive from all their Facebook sites as well as sites about Malibu but not supposed to be run by them. Hopefully this just didn't load but here goes. this was taken down again, so I will re-post. The below is a first hand account that I experienced with members of my group. This club does not have any place for a handicapped person to sit and watch the bands they have play (when they actually play and don't get cancelled day of). A friend of mine who is older and had a fractured spine was told she had to sit on a small brick wall or stand to watch the music and be with her family. When they pleaded to be allowed to have a chair far away from the dance area they were threatened by the security officer that the police would be called. This place only cares about the owners pockets and keeping them filled and palms greased. They treat their customers like garbage unless you're on the inside. The list for a Town owned club should not be secret and it shouldn't be subject to the owner and workers personal feelings and friendships. They don't care about anyone there and treat their customers worse than trash.

Best margaritas I've had in years! We've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. We went when there was live music and the vibe was awesome. Food and service were so so good. Can't wait to come back!

I really enjoy the Malibu Shore Club! Every time we visit our family who has a cabana at the beach there, we grab drinks and bites from Malibu. I love the live music, too. Everyone is carefree and seems to be having a great time. Although the prices are a bit high for my liking, the staff are really nice and make it clear that they appreciate you being there!

The beach is awesome. Not a long walk from the parking lot. There are people who have cabanas but you don't have to have one to go to this beach. However keep in mind that you must be a TOH resident or you'll be paying $50 to get in vs the $10 residents pay. The restaurant was good. We went on a day that had a deal on well drinks and got some appetizers. The lobster mac and cheese is so good! Calamari was basic and the coconut shrimp was good. The baked clams were alright.

Alex from the pizzeria from maliblu was very disrespectful. I was washing my feet in the pool area since that's the only place where I can wash my feet off the sand and he came very disrespectful at me. I jumped in the pool for 5 seconds to wash my face and he came screaming at me and when I confronted him about him screaming at me. He said he stated " he don't need people like me here". I was so disappointed because I did nothing to deserve this treatment. Would never come here again

Zero control or concern for non resident visitors occupying tenants tables, moving tables, eating at their tables, moving umbrellas. Took 4 calls to the staff to get one table of trespassers removed from the premises. For all the money we pay, there should be a checkpoint to enter the private areas, as there are for pools. Place is being ruined. I can only imagine it was a once cherished club for Nassau county residents. They impose strict rules for the paying tenants, and seem to give free passes to outsiders. Parents washing kids in the bathroom sink, overcrowded pools. This place could really be a hidden gem, but the town let it fall to crap. Won't be renewing my contact.

Ray nor chicken. Don't waste your time. I guess the fact that there was no line should have given me a clue that maybe we should go elsewhere. The chicken had no taste the candied yam just tasted like yams. The biscuit was hard on the outside but soft in the middle. The biscuit was good, the staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Malibu of old was great place to relax but with the Malibu Camp it was way to loud and those who paid to be part of the "club" were feeling chased off in the pool by these campers. The rules of the place are crazy as well no ball playing in the sand etc. The crowds that come in to listen to the bands bring their own beers in and sit on walls and empty cabanas are ridiculous they can't be making much money with the bands because most people are bringing their own stuff. Yes Butch and Dover brought money into the place but he is squeezing the place for so much more. It has fallen off the rails and quick.

Came here for the first time, gotta say the beach is very well sanitized but I wouldn't expect less considering residents of TOH pay thousands so it's only right. Beach was great sucks that there's an additional fee to go inside the main pool but what ever.

Arrived at around 7pm and waited only 15-20 for an outside table to listen to the music. The appetizer was Calamari which was pretty good had the drippings in the side. The main course was a Chicken sandwich with avocado and the Steak Tidbits.. both were very good. A bottle of Jordan Cabernet only $80 which I think is reasonable at a place on the water with live music. Band was decent "The Touch" but stick with songs that you can sing and stay away from girl sings .. service by Kelly was excellent she was very attentive. The hostesses were sweet, nice too and spot on with the wait time. I enjoyed the time here and would come back !!

Place is not what is used to be. We've been members on and off for the last 10 - 15 years. The club itself is nice. Amenities are decent. The problem is, it's open to the public. The 'day-trippers' have no regard for the facility. They leave garbage everywhere. They use members tables and barbecue grills. I've seen (on multiple occasions) where people change their kid's diapers on someone's table (GROSS!). There are rules throughout the club and these people don't care. These rules are in place to keep every one safe. There is a comments that said members are 'racist', really? How would you feel paying thousands of dollars to have slobs come into your house? The lifeguards are watching the ones who usually cause the most problems at the club, doesn't matter what color or race. Maybe you'd be better off going to Jones Beach or Rockaway Beach. The managing company has finally taken steps, there is now designated parking for members, a noticeable Security presence. Hopefully this will help.

My 8 year old daughter vanessa was so excited to come to Malibu this summer. On the 1st day of camp she was so nervous not knowing anyone. Now she comes home every day filled with excitement of stories and events of the days activities. She is now best friends with every girl in her group and made friends with many other kids. She tells me every day I love Malibu, I want to come here every year and when i get older I want to be a councelor! The staff is well trained, friendly, fun! We love you Camp Malibu!
