I share this feedback for improvement of customer experience -
mistakes can happen to anyone, and that’s not the issue. It’s how you take responsibility and resolve things quickly that matters. Customers shouldn’t be left waiting for extended periods without a clear timeline
I came in for an oil change and was informed that someone had scratched my car during a test drive. While they promised to fix it, the way it was communicated made it seem like the situation could have been worse. Initially, they were reluctant to schedule a repair appointment, asking me to call back because loaner cars weren’t available. After I insisted, they eventually booked the appointment. Throughout the process, I felt as though I was being treated as if I had done something wrong. They provided a loaner car on Tuesday, and when I inquired about the repair timeline, the service advisor said it might be ready by the end of the day. By Thursday, I hadn’t heard anything, so I called and was told it would be ready by the following Tuesday at the latest. After several follow-ups with no clear update, it took almost two weeks to get my car back. What frustrated me most wasn’t just the scratch, but how the dealership handled the situation. Instead of taking ownership of their mistake, they acted like they were doing me a favor, which was incredibly frustrating.
That said, I do appreciate the dealership fixing the issue, but the overall approach could have been much better.

Been comming here since I got my crosstrek. Josh H goes above and beyond to help me get in and out as quick as possible and is super nice to me and my pup Bambi. Love that place is very dog friendly. Lisa at front desk is great as well. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks everyone.. :)

Just happened to get stuck in front of the service center on Sunrise Highway with a flat tire. I decided to try to see if I could get someone to help me and the guys that work there were the absolute best!!! Josh (I think S) I'm sorry if I got the last name wrong and a young fella whose name I didnt get were so helpful and sweet, changed the tire for me. I tried to give them a tip and they refused. It actually is making me think of getting a subaru just for this service center!!

I’ve been visiting this location each time my 2019 Impreza has needed routine service since I bought it from the dealer down the road in 2021, as they included their VIP maintenance program when I signed (including free inspections which is a nice plus). There’s an online scheduling tool which is super convenient, but also the employees keep an open dialogue though their text system and send reminders when it’s time for routine services like an oil change. The employees at this location are very pleasant, communicate well throughout the process, and give a good timeframe for finishing service. The use of the web tool to keep tabs on additional suggestions is a good way to keep track of what the invoice will look like when you get back, and there isn’t a sense of pressure or being talked down to (Like I feel some shops have the reputation of).
I’ve also gotten credits for getting a free car wash as well, which is nice since they don’t wash the car at this location. There’s a car wash down the road that takes the vouchers so it’s nice to get the car cleaned up before heading home.
Josh Solivan was very helpful during my most recent visit. Most often I am helped by Brandon DelGiudice, who is great as well and usually reaches out when it’s time to come back.

I went in for a check engine light issue . Very easy to set up appointment. Joshua Solivan helped me as soon as walked in . He was very knowledgeable and polite. He answered all questions and I generally felt I sigh of relief. I was given a loaner car until my car gets fixed. Excellent service ,no wait, clean and comfortable building.

I came for an oil change and Joshua S. did it. He went out of his way to help me with other diagnostics with the car in addition to the oil change. He was very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend!

South Shore Subaru provided phenomenal service. Although our Cross Trek has been excellent overall, it had an issue with the Start Stop feature. Although out of warranty when the Start Stop ultimately failed, South Shore fixed the issue at no additional cost since the issue was raised several times while the car was under warranty.
Our service representative Josh Solivan, the service manager, and the entire staff were very attentive, following up with me daily. They also were very generous with providing a loaner car on more than one occasion, even though technically the issue was not under warranty.
I did not buy our Crosstrek from South Shore but started using their service department after getting poor service elsewhere. I would highly recommend South Shore Subaru.

Joshua S of the Service department was very helpful and courteous keeping me updated on my vehicle throughout the time it was there.Having him as an employee speaks volumes about customer service at Subaru in Lindenhurst if all their employees are just like him ! Hopefully I’ll deal with him again when i bring my car in for service in the future.

I ordered replacement windshield wiper blades for my Outback via the website. My order came quickly and undamaged thanks to Tim J. The instructions included in the packages were so easy I thought they would be missing something, but it was really very easy to replace all three blades (front driver, front passenger, and rear) with no tools needed. I am pleased overall with my order and will come back when I need more replacement parts.

Im really disappointed with the service that I got in this dealership, I took my Wilderness 2024 there because it has a defect in the headlights and they told me that it was normal what my car has, so I contacted SOA and they call South Shore Subaru Service to see what was the problem so after that, I was advice to make another appointment with the dealer, and I did I dropped my car on June 27 so they can check my car and also to do a oil change, so a week pass by and no news about my car, nothing I started calling and asking what was happening, I called SOA because I had a case open about the headlight because the dealer didn’t wanted do anything the first time, I sent pictures of how the headlights looked and the stain damaged that it has from inside and nothing no help at all so at the end I went to the dealer to speak with the service manager and he told me that they cannot do anything about it that they were just waiting for SOA to approve the warranty and that to wait so i waited one more week and nothing, at the end I went to get my car back on July 24 almost a whole month later and they did nothing they didn’t fixed my headlights or replaced because as the service advisor said it is not a warranty problem and I showed him the stain damaged inside headlights, I bought the car brand new 3 months ago from there and now they don’t want to fix something that is supposed to be cover for the warranty, and it suck. I asked him one day prior to pick my car that I want a Full Detail in my car because it was under a tree and I took picture how dirty it was from the roof and back and he said that they will do it, so the day that I went to get my car it was still dirty from the back with dust and the roof was scratched with some white mark so I don’t understand how can he lied in my face and said that I got a Full Detail when in reality it was just a wash that they did and now I had to bring my car to a BodyShop so they can fix the scratches that it has and try to remove the damaged that the dealership did at the end, I got my car worse than how it was. That being said I wouldn’t recommend this dealership and I really disappointed because I love my car but the service suck. I feel like they didn’t want to replaced it the first time and when I took it for the second time they just left my car there and didn’t really do anything, but yeah if I want to replace the headlights through the dealership it will cost me 4k, I can’t believe this, thanks for nothing South Shore Subaru Service.
