I’ve been to my share of Dim Sum restaurants. I like New Northern Manor because of its location in Little Neck/Douglaston/Great Neck. The food is always delicious and they have some variety. The service is good although it may not seem like it when you first walk in the door, because it can get chaotic due to the many customers that dine there. It can be a long wait before you’re seated, but I’ve learned that if you have a little patience, it is an overall good experience here. The atmosphere is also good. Always very clean, tidy, and many folks going around to ensure that your table is ready when you’re seated and ordering. They are also well dressed. I’ve been a customer for years and will continue to be. I recommend if you like Dim Sum.Parking: There is parking available, but area gets very congested. Be prepared to park a block or two away when the area is busy.

The service can be atrocious, yet the management doesn't care. The egg tarts were cold. We ordered another plate, stressing that we wanted them warm. The elderly waitress brought another plate of COLD egg tarts. She said she just took them out of the oven rack and can microwave them for us if we like. Her attitude was "none of my business." We complained to the manager who said and did NOTHING to rectify this.

Miss the old owner who retired. Now under new management under a partnership with this guy. He is very dismissive and rude.He only comes around when it's time for the check to rush you out. who He was one of the ex managers of the old place and he was rude then also. Just look at him he looks like Dr. Evil. Food is bad and service slow. Pricey too. Used to be our goto for dimsum due to its proximity but it's been consistently a bad experience so we're going back to flushing for our dimsum.

The food is very good. But when we asked for the check, I couldn't tell if the waiter in the glasses and white shirt was a restaurant manager or a security guard. He was standing next to our table while we were checking out, pressing his hands against our table, which made me feel uncomfortable and offended. I hope the restaurant will give the necessary training to the service staff. Because his behavior is so impolite!

Good place to be for dining in dim sum. Very friendly staff and servers. Restaurant gets busy and crowded midday on weekends. We can see that many are regular or returning patrons. Enjoyed their fresh and tasty dim sum accompanied with a pot of fragrant Jasmine tea. Overall, we were quite surprised and impressed with their good quality food, drinks and polite staff. Shall definitely be coming back. ?

Honestly, one of the best dim sum places here in the city! It was a bit of a journey but you can take the LIRR and it's ~10min walk after that. Food comes out hot and fresh! The cart ladies are super friendly and understand English so it was easy to order. I always recommend the chicken feet, turnip cake, and shrimp rice rolls! Total was ~$80 for 3 very hungry people! Surprisingly so affordable compared to other options in flushing and Chinatown. Highly recommend!

Family dinner on Sunday night at 6pm, was pretty full due to CNY. I've been coming here for years, generally solid except after they reopened the service and food went downhill. Was invited here last month and food was pretty decent so thought we'd try again and have our family of 12 here for dinner this past weekend. From the start, the service was bad. Tried to put us in a small table maybe meant for 8. Waitress had absolutely no manners and would knock into my aunt and I when bringing tea and peanuts to the table. We moved over as much as possible but there was no excuse me or sorry just blatant disregard. Now the food, even the tea and rice were barely warm when it arrived to the table. We had to ask to get hot rice which another waiter did replace. The shrimp and mayo was over fried and shells left on 40-60% of the shrimp. Absolutely hard to eat. The Peking pork chops were also extremely over fried, you couldn't even cut it up. It was horrible and inedible, should not have even been served. We had to advise them, they just took it away and said then we will cancel it. We should have done the same with the shrimp. We ordered a total of 9 dishes and most were either overcooked or overly salty. Such a disappointment, obviously they had major issues this night but I will never go back or recommend this place based on the poor service and the crappy food.

It's hard to find good lunch deals anymore, especially with inflation pushing prices higher and higher. However, New Northern Manor still provides a nice lunch deal, with a main dish, soup, and spring roll, all very tasty! The dim sum lady was very sweet and was concerned I would get cold sitting near the front door, which I felt very appreciative towards her for being so caring and considerate. The food arrived in less than 5 minutes and everything tasted awesome! Highly recommend coming here for a nice warm lunch that won't break your bank! It's very spacious too so you'll definitely feel comfortable!Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Worst dimsum place in New York. Very less options, only 2-3 dimsum cart keep turning around. I asked Manager if there is other dimsum cart here, he said yes, but still the same cart coming back and forth. It’s super limited choice here.Secondly, the food tasted really bad here, the crispy Taro ball is bland. Clam noodle doesn’t have clam meat inside. All dimsum has small portions.I don’t recommend coming and definitely not coming back again

Very unfriendly! The man in black suits is (manager?) becoming inpatient when he serves. The restaurant is not busy but he is very inpatient and impolite. Food is horrible. One order cooked with vegetables that deteriorated tastes sour! Don't eat there or you will get sick!

We came here for dinner and the restaurant was mostly empty, but our food took 40 minutes after ordering to arrive. Don't come to this restaurant for dinner unless you don't mind waiting.
