“I was amazed at the customer service we received from the worker, Julie B.!!! She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for when I couldn’t find anymore of the product we came in for on the shelf. She went out of her way, digging through shelves of items to find us more. You never find this kind of service anymore, especially in a dollar store. Also, when we came through the line with tons of groceries she was very patient and kind and I know it was hard for her to deal with as she was in the midst of unloading a truck. Thanks so much Julie B for a great experience at this location!!!;)”

“Pretty good store, it’s always nice and clean when ever I walk in. Also for some reason when I walk in sometimes the alarms go off for no reason, I’ve never heard it go off any other time when Im already inside the store it’s always a gamble when I go in, It also happened to me when I walked out of family dollar (I asked the guy there if I should empty out my pockets to clear things up) and I told him that it happens a lot at dollar general idk why the alarms go off for me but they do and it happens to often.”
“great store large cheap selection however not many monkey items but you wouldn’t expect it because it’s not a monkey type of store only reason i leave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the manager lady is kinda mean.”
“With limited stores in the town of Avon, the dollar General is a one stop shop fo so many things. Some groceries essentials( milk, bread and eggs) cleaning supplies and so many other random items at a great price. A few racks at an even higher discount 70% off, lots of near expired items or discontinued products. I found a few nice deals on snacks and other quick grab and go options. Lots of seasonal items near the entrance.”

“Usually have a great experience here. Had to add cash on a card and the cashier was new and hadn't been taught how to do it and he was the only person in the store. Definitely a security risk, as well as poor customer service. Especially when they're open til 10pm. Also a customer came in without a mask and cashier was concerned about confronting him, as he had no manager to back him up.”
