We stopped in looking for a bottle of a local red wine to go with a steak dinner we were planning to cook at our vacation rental house. This is a very small store, and the one person working was vert nice, but said that there really aren't any dry NY wines as they're all very sweet and she recommended we stick to California wine. We really wanted something local though, and did manage to find a nice bottle of dry red from a NY winery, perusing labels on our own, but the selection was pretty much limited to that one variety. There are a ton of wineries in the area that do make some dry wines, but most have very limited hours. So,..this place isn't bad in a pinch! We did get what we were looking for!

I really like this little store.. there is always something wonderful to pick up. And I get great recommendations.. the Bird Dog was very good.
