Walked in for a self-propelled lawnmower, no prices listed for the three... looked it up online and couldn't find the model listed. Walked around and found dried up dog excrement walked in, as I almost stepped in myself.
Go to the cashier to ask about mowers and see two of them talking, I wait until acknowledge. Hey, you have a mess... oh we know. Did you think about a sign, people back there probably walking through it now [like the old man I see coming that way]? Collene says, I been stuck here all day with attitude raises her hands like I’m inconveniencing her. I look back and forth at the two of them, grin and walk out. Forget the mower. While it’s not their fault the mess, their lack of response and clean-up is. Manager was “unavailable”.

We went to Tractor supply this afternoon around 3:30pm. First of all the organic duck food I came in for was gone. Workers had no idea when it might come in. So I happened to walk past the Black sex link chicks they had and their water was bone dry! I asked an employee girl if she could get them some water. Her answer was, they get water in the morn at 8am and then before they leave at 8pm ..I said it's 3:30 so those poor chicks have to wait till 8pm to get water?! They were about a week old and can't go that long without water. She also said we are short staffed. I said..can I get them water?? Her answer was..Ok! ..I'll get them water! With a mean attitude..I also told her ..lots of people that buy chicks there have them die in a few days from the stress of no water..She didn't seem to care. If Tractor supply can't take care of the chicks why do they have them to sell?? This wasn't the first time they had no water..It's very upsetting to see this every time I go there for my chicken and duck supplys..My Boyfriend and I just left and went to Runnings. Also the new Lockport store is very un organized ..And they didn't look short staffed..it takes 2 mins to make sure the chicks have water..Sorry but I'm an animal lover and that sure is cruelty ..

New location not off to a good start... I know they haven’t had their grand opening yet, but hopefully they can take some constructive criticism to heart before then.
The layout in the new store is tight and confusing. Went over to the “Equine” sign, and wondered why I could not find any equine feed. I was then directed to the back wall, behind the large “Cattle” sign, but even there I found that none of the four grains I usually purchase from TSC (all Nutrena) were in stock, and I don’t even see a place for them to go in the future. Had to help direct several other confused customers to that back wall because they could also not locate the equine feed, but what they needed was not in stock either.
Hopefully stock and organization will be improved with time, so I will definitely give them another chance. But for right now I guess I’m going to have to buy my grain elsewhere.

The store smells like rubber and metal in a good way. It carries a feeling of the working man. Not the cheapest for tools belts paint or tractor parts but it sure beats buying something online that may or may not work for what you have to do.

My father came home last night and was pretty upset after being racially profiled at this store yesterday 9/2/23 between 7-9 pm . A female employee had assumed he had stole a hat from their store and he said that this female employee was watching him while he was there. She had another male employee confront him about this situation. Luckily my father was with someone who spoke a little more English than him but this situation could have gone very differently had that not been the case.

Went in for a few things today, and got to the counter and the gentleman was taking care of another couple that were there before I even got in line. After 10 minutes he still didn't say anything to the people in line or call anyone up to cash us out. After 15 minutes I left your place and went to Runnings where they were happy to help me and cash me out quickly! If you're gonna run short staffed that's fine, but let's still take care of the customers.

I buy bird seed there and other outdoor things, and occasionally tools, clothing, and miscellaneous hardware.

You can save a few bucks but it's not worth going to a store that runs out of the every day staples ALL THE TIME!!!!

Before arriving to the tractor supply company store, I called in advance to see if they had a Weedwhacker. They told me they did have the Weedwhacker I was looking for. When arriving, they had the wrong product up at the register. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes to even see if they had the correct product in stock. The man comes from the back with an open Weedwhacker box and said everything is in it. You are OK clarifies to me that there’s there is a charger and a battery in the box. When I get home and unpack, the Weedwhacker, there’s no charger or cable in the box now I have to drive 25 minutes back to the store to go and explain to them on how my product was an open box. Some old Puerto Rican guy , or Hispanic man (manager I assume)then turns around and says “sir, I don’t appreciate you looking at me like that.” Now mind you, no one was even looking at this guy. He was just trying to start or cause attention. This is very unacceptable and I very miss managed business. I 100% do not recommend this to anyone. Or check your stuff at the register before you buy it to save an hour of time. Never again!
