Locust Valley Library is a unique and beautiful public library with green grounds and a charming outdoor bench. The building offers a variety of events, including free concerts in the basement theatre and educational activities like English classes, summer reading camps, and fun events such as natural trips, axe throwing, and cooking classes. Recent events, like a hands-on empanada-making session, have been enjoyable and well-organized. The library provides ample parking and is known for its dedicated staff and director, who offer exceptional support and assistance. While the children's section is a bit tight, visitors appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the many educational and entertainment options available for families and the community.
What a unique edifice for a public library! I found the grounds nicely decorated and green. Probably the greenest grounds to a library that I've yet seen. I found the children's section a little tight. Plenty of parking. I did find the little bench outside to be very cute.

Visited last week for a free concert performance in the basement theatre area. Had a most enjoyable time and will be more vigilent in future about the goings-on at local libraries. Thanks to the library staff. Also, very adequate parking areas around the building.
