“I had the first time passport application here. showed up little early than the appointment time. No lines. Shayne was the clerk who took care of my application, very professional and with lots of patience. The process was quick, around 15 minutes. There's 15 minutes street parking in front of the post office, and 1 hour parking in the area. I had no problem with finding parking.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“I don’t know why there are negative posts here. I just left and was cared for Robert, one of the 2 agents working . The line moved fast, the pleasant smile and welcoming was greatly appreciated . This is a 4Star post office . Don’t believe the negative posts.”
“We love all our Post Offices, and we think it's great to have such convenience for all citizens. With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. “I’ve only been to the Glen Head post office twice, but both times have been such a joy thanks to Kareena. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderfully talkative attitude that truly brightens my day. She manages to take the “chore” out of running an errand and turns it into a genuinely pleasant experience.
I live several towns over, but from now on, I will make the trip to this specific post office simply because of Kareena. She’s such an asset—not just to the Glen Head post office, but to every customer she interacts with. Highly recommend coming here if you want excellent service with a smile!”

“My wife and I had to send something over night so we stopped by this post office. It was my first time sending anything overnight so I was a little confused. My wife and I looked at the area where you could get those priority envelopes but couldn't find anything for overnight. My wife asked the clerk, who was really friendly, and they gave us one from behind the counter. The clerk gave us instructions on what to write and informed us that, since it was a long weekend, it wouldn't be delivered till tuesday.
We did what we had to do on our end, handed it back to the clerk, she followed up with some questions to confirm things like address and name, I paid and we were out the door.
All in all, really pleasant experience.”
“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Great passport service experience. Sharmin was very helpful and quick with the processing of the application. Overall from the time I stepped in it took 7 mins which included taking a picture.”
“Please hire more workers like Cindy! She was fast and efficient. There were 5 customers ahead of me and she served them ALL in less than 5 minutes. Packages that she scans are already in the system and don’t take 24 hours like many other workers!

“The regular workers are so polite, helpful, and patient. Whenever the lines are long and I have to wait instead of using the drop box, I get a greeting with a generous smile, and the greeting is worth the wait! So, I don't mind a sometimes unusual busy day at the Post Office!”

I ship a lot because I have a small business and I will always choose USPS. When I came in with a bunch of orders the other day no one sighed or looked upset they were ready to scan & get me to my next errand.
