“We just left the post office for our passport inquiries and I give this place 5 stars. The service was excellent. David had assisted us in the passports services. He was very kind very professional and made our experience fun, safe and pleasant. Thank you”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“This is the seriously the best USPS location I’ve ever been to in my life. Everyone is so nice and helpful and it’s never too long of a wait. I used to dread going to the post office but not anymore!”

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I have to make an exception. I had an experience with 3 ladies from USPS and I’m very happy with all of them. Very kind and helpful crew. Even though I have USPS next to my house I’d rather to wait and do everything here.”

“Larry was so kind in helping me try to track a package that went missing. He even took down my tracking number and called me back the next day to ensure we find it. Thank you!”

“I accidentally sent a huge order to the wrong location. After going to 3 different post offices in different locations over 4 days in search it finally reached Manhasset. With a wrong city but correct address, Manhasset held my package giving me time to update and retrieve it. My wait was less than 10 mins which is rare with a line of 6 or 7 people. I have to say this post office was wonderful ? and I thank you so much for your professionalism and courtesy.”

“We love all our Post Offices, and we think it's great to have such convenience for all citizens. With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. We Thank You ALL USPS mailmen and women postal workers.”

“I love visiting this post office! Despite all the older negative reviews, I’ve foundthe staff to always be really friendly and helpful. Lines are long sometimes but not their fault.”

“Little to no wait times whenever I've been here. And Nigel is the man. If people are giving this place a 1-star rating, they must be giving other post offices negative-star ratings”

“The BEST Post Office I've ever been too, and I've been to many! I work in the wedding invitation industry so the USPS is a very important part of my business. The Cold Spring Harbor branch is so knowledgeable, efficient, patient, fast and kind. The way it should be. The staff truly cares about your parcels and mail and they make the process so easy. Thank you Joanne, Bob & Tracey!”

“Construction was completed in 1936 and this building is a classic. Even if you don't have anything to mail, it's worth stopping in to check out the five murals inside by American artist Ernest Peixotto, including George Washington's visit to Oyster Bay and Theodore Roosevelt at Sagamore Hill. However, the building was closed and locked when I arrived well after regular business hours. There are mailboxes outside on the curb which were useful for dropping off post cards. The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. [Review 15331 overall, 833 of 2021, number 216 in New York.]”

I am always greeted with her smile! :) Thank you Sean and Ozzy for always being so helpful with all my packages and PO Box. I appreciate you all! :)”

“The Old Bethpage location is greatly understaffed but the lady behind the counter does her very best to please all of the customer needs as much as she can. Thumbs up for her dedication.”

“Rarely review, let alone for USPS, but I had a really excellent experience with a USPS worker who was my clerk on Saturday, April 24th, 2021. Her nametag said Jane (receipt said Clerk #10 if that is helpful at all). I was shipping 4 separate boxes Priority Mail and she recognized that 3 of the boxes would be able to fit in flat-rate priority mailers without even having to open the boxes I had them in. She dropped each box into a flat rate mailer for me and taped each one up and helped save me $30+. Excellent experience. Thank you, Jane :)!”

“I called to ask the process about the claim. Unfortunately Glen Cove Post office lost my package. Glen Cove Post office very impatient when reported missing, report claim, and any help for these 5 weeks. I have to call other nicer office to see how to keep track with my approved claim and the gentle man in Glen head office very nice to answer all questions. Thank you Glen Head Officer.”

“Classic small town post office - show up a couple of times and you’ll know all the employees by name. The manager, Sarah, was very helpful with a shipping insurance issue. Recommended!”

“It's really sad when you see the USPS places get such low ratings. I get both sides of the coin. There are some folks working in other postal offices who are not cut out for customer service jobs.At the Glen Oaks postal office, they have the highest rating I would gather anywhere in Queens. The employees here are amazing. They work so hard and are polite.Just make sure you do your part as a customer following the rules and the transaction should go through easy.Keep up the fantastic work, Glen Oaks postal service!”

“I honestly don't understand why the reviews are so negative from other people. Coming from Brooklyn, this post office is a blessing in comparison to what I've dealt with in the past. There is usually never any rush so I'm in and out and there is also a parking lot as well. I've only dealt with two staff members who seem to be there regularly and they are both extremely helpful and kind. I've been mailing out everything from here the past few months and don't plan to stop in the foreseeable future. Keep up the great work!”

“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“The employee Liberty was magnificent and so pleasant I never saw an employee work so hard she has went above and beyond for me. I feel this woman deserves a raise she is tremendous at what she does and needs to be complicated for her hard work.”

“Today we visited this post office with our young twin boys and infant girl for passports. The staff and supervisor were helpful and patient with us throughout the process. They were also friendly and engaged with our children. We had a wonderful experience! The US Postal Service should be proud of this exemplary office!”

“I think you'd probably have a good experience at any post office outside of Brooklyn. That being said this was my second or third time at a post office in LI. I had a great experience at this (Carle Place) post office yesterday. The postal worker was very polite and patient as she handled all the mail I had to send out. The office is very clean and inviting (again, if you've been at post offices in Brooklyn you definitely can make the comparison). I came in the early afternoon on a weekday and found a lot of street parking.”

“Nice building. Good service. This post office has longer hours compared to other local post offices. Closes at 6pm instead of 5pm on weekdays, and 3pm instead of 1pm on Saturday.”

“Came here a few minutes before closing to deliver a very important package that needed to be postmarked on that day. The fee was $2.85, but I only had about $1.80 on me. The nice lady still let me deliver the package. I'll be forever grateful for how they treated me that day.”

“The Review That was Here, was Not so Good.I Revised it because ever Since there was an incident, I was not going to come back. I have to admit the Clerk is So Professional, Friendly, and Warm, & That has been consisting for awhile nowOn top of that, just Recently Clerk#8 went above and beyond to make sure my package got mailed. Being Friendly and Helpful Consistently will change people's perception of this Post Office. If I could give 10 Stars I would.(**********).I Also encourage any person who left a Bad review to examine if you should revise it for the better based on what you have seen and are currently experiencing at this post office”
