Small winery with nice views on the deck. Enjoyed meeting Shannon (owner) during the riesling flight tasting.

Well worth the drive down. Off the path and so quiet. Everything is delicious.

We did the vineyard tour and tasting experience and had an awesome time. Shannon, one of the co-owners, explained their biointensive approach to their vineyards and answered all of our questions in detail. The tasting also included some cheeses to really bring out the best in their wines, which are all very good. Highly recommend visiting if you want a more personal wine tasting experience in the finger lakes!

My group of 6 had a great experience at Silver Thread. Shannon was extremely knowledgeable of their wines and was a gracious host. Can’t wait to visit again!

A great tasting and wonderful view. This winery is a hidden gem. Resiling tasting gives you the opportunity to taste terroir from several different vineyards. Staff is knowledgeable and wines are always exquisite.

We had a bottle of Silver Threads Winery at a restaurant in Kinsman Ohio that we liked so when we were planning our trip to Seneca Lake we decided we wanted to find Silver Threads. We scheduled a tasting and tour. Shannon (co-owner) led our tour and tasting. She was very welcoming and took her time to explain some history of the winery operations and the grapes and the Seneca Lake area. She explained their environmentally conscious practices of their operations including solar powered operations. She took her time with us and answered any questions we had and treated us to a friendly and comfortable wine tasting. Will definitely stop in when we're back in the Seneca Lake area. They are small and intimate, so I recommend you schedule your tasting and/or tour. Pass over the "big operations" and give them a try.

This is my happy place. Every experience we have had there has been amazing! We have been going here every year for a long time and that won't stop anytime soon! They are doing amazing things for the environment and our taste buds! You should absolutely add this to your wine trail visits! In fact make it the first stop so your palette can truly experience the quality of their Resiling!

While visiting the Finger Lakes, our second time and now one of our favorite areas, my fiance and I booked a couple of tastings. We booked a tasting and vineyard tour at Silver Thread and were so delighted. We were fortunate to be the only people who reserved a tour so we had the pleasure of having owner Shannon provide the tour. She was so lovely and informative. We learned things about wine making, grape vine growth, and the Finger Lakes area and history. Shannon's passion for their vineyard and craft was an added bonus to our visit. Our wine tasting took place in a beautiful room surrounded by the vineyard wines. We had five tastings and a delicious local goat cheese served with pumpkin pepitas. Shannon allowed us to taste an additional wine while we were talking about our favorite wines. I highly recommend visiting Silver Thread and enjoy a tour of the vineyard!

Our tour and tasting experience with Shannon was exceptional!!! Highly recommend this bio- sustainabile vineyard to everyone who enjoys an educational and enjoyable wine tasting experience "off the beaten path" of the larger more highly commercialized ones in the Finger Lakes Region. Great wine too!

A gorgeous little spot, Slightly off the beaten path and worth the drive down the unpaved road! All the wines are dry here, which is our preference and we enjoyed them all, especially the Rieslings! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and helpful!

When our daughter asked for a glass of water with lemon only to be told "this is not a bar" is rude. Shannon Brock and an older woman did not make us feel welcome whatsoever. But to take back cheese from our plate after it was served to us .....being told it was because we were only supposed to get 1 speaks volumes. Did you re-serve that small piece of cheese to the next customers!!! You opened both packages and we touched both packages. WOW!!! Shame on you both! Treat people better.

Wonderful, cozy, friendly with very good wines. Refreshing and easy to drink. Owner was really personable and down to earth. I bought a couple bottles as gifts and they have been very well received and enjoyed. Facility and vineyard are beautiful and well kept. Worth a trip.

One of our favorite spots. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. We were able to enjoy our flights and/or individual glasses at a picnic table and the kids could be outside in the grass. Glad we found this hidden gem.

We did not taste any wines due to the rude woman working. There was another group that walked in directly after us that also left. All wines are dry wines. Gorgeous view, though. Hate we did not get to enjoy the scenery!
