“If you've watched Schitt's Creek, you'll be familiar with David's store: Rose Apothecary. For some reason this store reminds me of that shop (which is a good thing). White House Home is one of those locally owned businesses you want to stay in business because of the personal touches, quality service, and small town charm. The store is essentially a boutique selling a variety of imported products: lotions, candles, glassware, porcelain, and even some packaged foods (cookies and chocolates, for instance). You'll find few of these products at another store nearby, which makes the selection pretty unique. Most recently I came here for a Mother's Day gift and had plenty to choose from. The employee working in the store that day took time to answer my questions and offer some product recommendations. The prices here are perhaps a little steeper than you might find at a large retailer, but it's that personal touch and eclectic selection of luxury goods that make it worth the price jump. Upon deciding on something to buy, the employee took time to carefully wrap the purchase in a gift bag, even removing the price sticker since I mentioned it was a gift. The store is located in a small cottage, so looking in from the outside it might appear to offer just a few choices, but the store is really packed with options, so there's a lot to choose from. For the small town charm, personalized service and unique offerings, I'm a fan. It doesn't necessarily have anything, but it's the perfect place to go if you need a special gift or are looking for something different.”

“I came to this location to redeem a coupon that I had received however I was unable to do so being that I wasn't in the system for whatever reason. I wanted to get a box for my daughters birthday and was originally told they wouldn't be able to do it the day of but also they had nothing that they could give me. I really didn't want to leave empty handed, the guy working and I spoke for a while trying to figure out what could be done. Maybe I could go to another store pick something up however I was also pressed for time. He was very nice and ended up selling me a box that was in a display case there was 2 boxes available for sale. I was under the impression that one of the items were chocolate covered marshmallows however ended up being chocolate covered bananas she enjoyed the surprise box so I was ultimately happy. He worked with me so I gave him this rating however from the review alone you can understand why I was confused.”

“My sister lives near this place and was I so happy to stumble by!!! They have sugar-free chocolates!! I spent good money and I'll do it again next time I'm in town!!! The lady was so nice and gave me info on all the chocolates I purchased. This place also has kosher items. It is very clean and smells Devine!Parking is super easy. Can't wait to go back and get chocolate pretzels, vanilla marshmallow chocolates and chocolate covered jelly! My favorite!!!!”

“Christmas came early for me this year with an amazing gift of a Spa Treatment at Joyful Treasures I was guided toward the Ayurvedic Shirodhara Treatment which was perfect timing with the added stress this time of year seems to bring. The entire experience was incredible. I'm pretty sure I entered the deepest relaxation I have felt in a long time or possibly ever. It was truly magical. I should also add that the treatment room was impeccable and tranquil and yes, with a warm pillow-like bed. “My wife went to pick up an order at edible arrangements today. Upon her return she seemed quite pleased and jolly and I was wondering why. She usually returns from any endeavor at any store upset because she wasn't treated right. This time around she couldn't stop raving about the employee at the edible arrangements who took care of her. I asked her why she was so happy and she began to speak of a young lady named Jas who took care of her in the store. Once she received her order she was invited to return by the young lady. “To start off, the customer service was amazing! They allowed me to set up the arrangement in a in and out manner and did everything perfectly like I said. I ordered the chocolate covered strawberries for valentines day for my wife and of course I had to sneak one as well (pls don't tell her hehe). When I tell you, these strawberries tasted so fresh and the way they merged with the chocolate was like heaven in my mouth!! You could taste how fresh the strawberries were and you can tell by just the way it looks that the workers actually show love in their job. I mean look at the photo!! You can't make up how beautiful they look and I'm not sure how but they taste even better! I will definitely be coming here again! My wife absolutely loved them! Thank you!!!”
