I don't know how this place has so many good reviews. I had a terrible experience. Not only did they charge me over $600 for my personal relatively simple taxes but they messed them up and I had to pay back taxes and penalties as a result.I've since found someone that charged 1/5th of the price and delivered far better service.

Not sure why review was removed, probably because R&G Brenner didn't like it. Let me be a specific as possible. a. Preparer (I don't think it a good idea to i.d. employees on Internet) an older gentlemen told me wife it would cost $250 and it ended up costing $395. He apologized but "could not change it". b. There is no schedule A though there seems to be itemizations. I called to get clarification and no one returned my call. Is this specific enough? I hope so, or perhaps Yelp is being pressured to remove negative reviews. Then what use is it?

Still haven’t received my tax refund after over 3 months of waiting. When I reach out to the representative to ask for help or clarification, there is no response. Also the rep originally told me the cost of filing was much lower than it ended up being. And I brought him 2 returns! Ridiculously bad all around. Should’ve just done my taxes my self like I usually do.

Great environment to do business, caring and compassion staff. Upon enteringthe long beach office the first thing we notice was that they following the covid 19 protocols which made me and my dad felt comfortable. Their level of professionalism is exceptional. At B&R they treat us like family and everyone that I recommend love doing business at the Long Beach location.Secondly, I personally wanted to thank the entire staff for making my father so relax and confident when he came in to do his taxes.My father wanted Mr. Steven Choque to know because of his expertise and positive attitude he will be a client for life at R&BMuch appreciation.Delroy Wilson & Briget wilson.
