Just had the most horrible experience of any UPS location (Long Beach NY). The blonde heavy set woman that works at the counter could have not been ruder if she tried. As per the website the store is set to close at 3pm, we thought we had just made it having arrived at 2:55 to our surprise the door was already locked, with the woman inside refusing to open it and insisting that she was closed. When we brought it to her attention that it was not in fact 3pm quite yet she reluctantly opened the door and proceeded to have what I can only describe as a complete crash out. Yelling that no one cares about her and that she had been working all day without A/C. If that wasn’t enough there was one other customer that had arrived before closing with multiple packages to which she said “ I’m not yelling at you, you only have one package unlike this guy who has 90, which I won’t be scanning in”. I can’t imagine that a conglomerate like UPS would find this behavior and complete lack of customer service acceptable. All I can say is UPS do better and to the lady working, we all have bad days but shame on you!

No consideration for their employees or customers. Online says 830 open, door says 830 open. Workers cant get in because they have no key. Customers standing in rain. 901 am still no manager to open door.

Beware!!! They charge you for taping a box. $2 a box regardless of the box size. I guess management/owners nickel and dime for everything.

I always have a good experience at this UPS location but most recently I had an excellent experience with Josh. I had a large return through Happy Orders that was giving me some issues with the shipping label. Josh took the time to help me troubleshoot and determine the best and most cost effective way to send my order back. This could have potentially been a big headache, but Josh made the process seamless and easy. I would definitely recommend this UPSmlocation!

Today, Monday March 10, around 5 pm -the owner’s son , if it is even true , was so abusive to me that it ruined my long customer relationship with the store- and with some of the very nice worjets

Terribly Managed by Melanie who picked up my packages and moved them suddenly to get me out of her way so she could stick polybags before closing.
Then stared daggers at me when I called her on it. She told she worked there (which no one would be able to tell since she wasn’t in any UPS attire) as if that mattered.
When I asked for her name and store number she refused to give it. A registered employee had to provide both for me.
Staff there never seems to be any trouble but Melanie apparently thinks she’s own the spot and can just act however she likes. Wompwomp
