“We have been going to Baldwin Animal Hospital with our boy Stewie for the past 8 years and I have to say they are not like all the rest! Dr. Saslow & Dr Munro are amazing, caring and honest. “We find it quite challenging to adequately describe how grateful we are that Dr. Kleminger and staff, in particular Vet Tech Sydney took care of our geriatric cat Cassius. Cassius was two months old when he first saw Dr. Kleminger and he lived to the ripe old age of 19 largely in part to the exceptional care, guidance and love we received at Companions. Cassius was a strong, fighter who endured, multiple medical emergencies where we thought he might die. All through these crisis Dr. Kleminger and Sydney were there for us. We had to administer fluids and medications at home which Sydney came to our house to teach us every week for months until we learned to do it ourselves. Cassius hated the carrier, and going to the vet, however, he immediately calmed down when Dr. Kleminger would pet him and talk to him. He would fall right asleep when Sydney would hold him on his back like a baby. It was absolutely magical. We love all of the staff at Companions. The front desk staff are loving and compassionate. Thank You, thank you for all being who you are. We highly recommend Companions.”
“The team at West Hempstead Animal Clinic was exceptional during a difficult time for our family. Our dog needed a potentially cancerous growth removed, and every step—from the diagnosis through surgery and recovery—was handled with compassion, professionalism, and clear communication.
They took wonderful care of our dog, even though she is not the easiest patient, and made sure she was as comfortable and safe as possible. The staff took the time to explain the procedure, answer all of our questions, and thoroughly review the available options with us. “Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. “My entire family of animals has been using this hospital for 30 years. From our first dog to them running treatment out of a colocation during covid, they have have taken care of all of their animals. I am no longer local to the area but recently my cat was experiencing diarrhea and vomiting. My cat sitter brought her in and Dr Ratner was the reliable provider I know her to be and assessed her and explained the reasonable treatment recommendations she had which I accepted. 24 hours later my cat was fully recovered and I am so grateful they took my cat in same day.”
“We have been going to South Bellmore Vet for 9 years. We rescued 2 sisters so starting going there with our 2 rambunctious puppies. They are always there when you need them. Our girls were spayed there, every yearly exam is there. Also, if one has an ear infection or brakes a dew claw... they always get us in. As far as pricing....vet care isn't cheap but honestly their prices are reasonable. I am very happy with the care my girls get there. If your looking for a vet I definitely recommend this practice. They care....”
“Dr. Pellegrino and her entire team have been truly amazing in caring for my senior dogs. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate. You can feel how much they care, not just about the pets, but about the people who love them too.
They took such gentle, thoughtful care of my dog Littleboy throughout his senior years, and I will always be grateful for the love and respect they showed him. During one of the hardest times, their support meant more to me than I can fully express.
They are continuing that same level of care with my dog Babygirl, helping us focus on keeping her comfortable and supported. Dr. Pellegrino always takes the time to explain everything clearly and never makes me feel rushed or unsure. I always feel heard and reassured after speaking with her.
What really stands out is the warmth and empathy of the entire team. My dogs have always been treated with such gentleness and dignity, and that means everything to me.
I feel incredibly lucky to have found them, and I cannot recommend Dr. Pellegrino and her staff enough, especially for anyone caring for senior pets.”

“The best veterinarian office in the state! I’m really glad I came here because they are super knowledgeable. All of the vets/vet techs really care about the animals!! I took my dog to the emergency vet because she wasn’t eating. They tried running expensive tests which I couldn’t afford. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her without running the tests apparently. It was really stressful they couldn’t give me an idea of what might be wrong with her. I brought my dog to this office and the doctor immediately knew that she had an upset stomach so that’s why she wasn’t eating. She received an anti nausea shot and within an hour or two she was back to being herself. I’m really glad I found this veterinarian, the doctors are very experienced here. The front desk staff were also super friendly and caring! I’m forever grateful!!”

I knew something was off with my baby — at first I thought it was just allergies, but the doctor found she also has ear and a skin infection because she checked every inch of Zoey’s body.”

“Dr. Jonathan May has been treating my cat for a urinary track infection. Dr. May is an outstanding doctor, he’s very compassionate, not only does he care about animals but he also cares about his clients, he goes above and beyond explaining what treatment needs to be done and explains everything in simple terms so that you don’t have to be a doctor to understand. I would highly recommend Dr. May for anyone that needs vet care.”

“I'm very picky with where I take my dog, because I know some places like to overcharge or are unprofessional but Dr Gower was amazing! My dog has been having pains and I called the animal clinic for the first time and the owner was very friendly and a good listener, he asks questions, and did a very thorough and detailed examination on my dog and takes a lot of notes aswell. He was nice enough to give me a discount, and the medicine he prescribed my dog has been helping! He even called the next day for a checkup to see how she was doing. I felt comfortable with my dog is his hands. The clinic itself is very small and crammed, and he is the only person working at this place but he did an amazing job. I will definitely go back in the future if I need to get any more checkups on my dog!”

“All Creatures has saved our babies in very scary situations. They have done so with such kindness, empathy, and gentleness. They are super thorough and accommodating. While our cat was hospitalized we were able to visit him daily and they provided us with extensive updates on his care, morning noon and night. We're so lucky to have found them.”
