Walgreens is a great company Decent prices Good selection Good pharmacy The problem.... Walgreens is pushing store pickup& same day delivery BUT MY LB NY Walgreens is either unwilling or unable to accommodate these functions I made 4 attempts this week 2 never filled 2 filled about 5 or 6 hours late It appears no one cares at the store I gave 2 stars because Walgreens Corp cared& tried to accommodate me.... They couldn't fix it quickly so they shipped it and I will receive in a few days So sad how horrible this location is

Do not buy refrigerated food here, especially milk. I bought a half gallon and it was bad, although it had 7 more days until expiration. A week later I bought two quarts, thinking that was safe. More than a week until expiration. Both smelly and tasted bad. I got a refund for those, but had to argue with the manager. They insist they put them into the case as soon as delivered -- I doubt it. The manager and clerk were aggressive about refunding my money -- I just wanted them to be aware and to apologize, and I did want my money back. It may be that the truck that delivers leaves the milk out somewhere. Whatever. . . be warned . . . and go to 7-Eleven on the next block! I tried calling customer service but after 40 minutes on hold I gave up. So - if you need milk, buying here just gets you sour milk. . .

I literally feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone every time I go here. I don't know how they choose their staff, but ZERO customer service skills. One dude doesn't even speak; just grunts as he rings you up. There's always a massive line with one person working one register and having to also run over to photo to help people there. Employees will look you dead in the eye while you're waiting and not even say "we'll be right with you." Seem to be consistently understaffed and have to spend 20 minutes per customer processing coupons. Give me a break. Never going again.

Zero stars wasn't an option. Extremely slow and uncaring. The pharmacy consecutively tells us our prescriptions are ready and they never are. Cashiers have no value of peoples time and stare at you and completely ignore you.

Stopped in here on Thanksgiving. A coupon I had earned for $5 off my next purchase came out of the register as I started to walk away. Instead of handing it to me the cashier put it to the side (didn't throw it out so I knew it wasn't just an ad like I thought). So I went back and asked oh did I get a coupon? She said oh yeah here and handed it to me. Apparently she was going to keep it. And this is what I for get being nice and being the only customer at that time wishing her happy Thanksgiving and saying sorry you have to work today. What a POS she should be fired.

I was experiencing bad food poisoning one day on my way back from the beach, and needed to stop at the Walgreens for a restroom. The staff was extremely helpful and caring, and the bathrooms were very clean! We cleaned up as we left, and I thank this Walgreens from the bottom of my heart! Everyone there desires a raise!!!

I've been using this specific Walgreens store in Long Beach, NY at 606 Long Beach Blvd. for some time now. Specifically the Pharmacy department. I know I can go to any Pharmacy around and be served, but there's a reason why I continue to visit this one! The pharmaceutical team there has been amazing to me from the very first day and the only change there has been is that it just gets better every time. I've never been so comfortable and I actually look forward to dealing with the special team consisting of Sini and Neena! Besides having my prescriptions ready, I'm always learning something new from them that is helpful to my everyday life. They educate me with details, methods, and definitions of medicines that are prescribed to me. They go beyond their job description time and time again with simple conversations besides the occasional "hello's and goodbye's" !!! It makes me feel at home as if I had known them all my life. And that's super important for consumers like me who are questioned and timid of some of the prescriptions I'm picking up. I feel like I can ask them anything or even call there without feeling shy or scared. The advice given and respect I'm shown over and over again is truly sincere. Every visit is treated as if they knew me forever! Thank you to the both of you for representing Walgreens and your team in the most brilliant way! By far the best pharmacy I've been to ! Came in to do an exchange of supplemental package and encountered the worst Walgreens representative ever - Rob. He was arrogant, rude and unfriendly. This is definitely my first and last time in this store. I will never use them again. And since my uncle gets his prescriptions filled here I called him to tell him to stop using them, as I was returning the items for him. Customer service is extremely poor with Rob. His stuff unfriendly attitude is better fit for a bouncer position but then he probably would get smacked around by other people if he tried that with others. He should be stocking boxes if he wants to have a crappy attitude. Completely disgusted by him and Walgreens lack of screening of employees.

Had same problem , bad back injury , only received 2 of 3 prescriptions, the one I'm missing is what's needed , apparently system died since 11-10 am , no one came to fix ac to stop computer system from over heating ,told I could only pay cash , I'd have been f***** if I didn't have someone with me that did

Couldn't get prescription for my kids pinkeye because their computer system was down. Left me scrambling to get the prescription filled after hours. Ridiculous. Also dirty dirty.
