The experience you will have here all depends on the mood of the lady that operates the counter. If she is in a good mood, you will have a good experience. If she is in a bad mood, she will be rude and condescending. I’ve had enough of the bad mood experiences, and seen her yell and curse at the staff on enough occasions to no longer be a customer here after my most recent experience.It’s a shame, because the cars are always good and clean and Avis is a reputable Company. I hope they pay more attention to this location one day and I’m surprised this place is allowed to operate the way it is. For now, I’ve taken my business to BSD Tree on Vernon blvd. The cars aren’t as good but I’m consistently treated with respect and never made to feel uncomfortable.

Location is good and staff is generally friendly. Car is in good condition. However the agent is either incompetent or tried to scam me…I returned the car at 7:35am, handed over the keys, and had to leave in a hurry before they gave me the receipt because I was running late for work. They did not process the return in their system until 10am, which resulted in late penalty of $175 on top of my original bill. Avis customer service said it would take 48hrs to get the updated receipt and 5 business days for refund to process...Just a slight inconvenience you might consider renting from here…

the woman working the desk as well as the man helping with the car were both incredibly kind and patient, they gave me a great car that was practically brand new and even did an in person walkaround with me to note any existing scratches. 10/10

Showed up at 2:58 for a 3:00pm reservation just to be scolded by the blonde lady with glasses about “how you don’t show up 15 minutes early”. Lights were already off. When I gave her my credit card she said it didn’t match the name on the ID. The front of the Cc has the name of the company I work for and my name is on the back. She wouldn’t listen. Told me I had 30 seconds to show her another credit card. When I got my wallet and got another card out she said it was 3:01 so she was already done and to go to a different location. Someone had just walked behind me at 3:01 with a 3:00pm reservation. I decided it wasn’t worth it to even argue with her and left. This is ridiculous.

Carmen was fantastic! Really helpful, and went beyond by helping me get the best deal and giving me a free upgrade. Pickup and drop off were quick and easy. Improvements: Car could have been better cleaned and a newer model (didn’t have carplay).

I was considering renting a car from this Avis location but after talking to the EXTREMELY RUDE woman on the phone, who hung up on me twice after I was simply asking a question to get more info, I’ve decided not to rent a car. And judging by other reviews, it sounds like this is consistent behavior.

This location is extremely short staffed. But somehow Carmen makes everything work super smoothly and provides 10/10 service. Truly I have never seen someone working so efficiently and respectfully to the customers even though she is frequently completely alone at the counter. 10/10, thanks Carmen!

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for. The lady who helped me (blonde hair, with glasses) was incredibly helpful and friendly. I also got a nice car that had that new smell. Maybe I got lucky, but people probably just gotta chill and read the fine print

Unless you get Carmen, everyone at this location sucks. A couple years ago, I followed the phone app regarding gas reading and they said not to follow the app since it's always inaccurate. Fast forward to today, the middle aged white man with the beard charged me extra for gas since the "reading" on the app said I didn't bring back the car with correct gas. I told him to check the gas reading in the car but said he's "too busy."The security staff are also ridiculously slow in cleaning and bringing the car out.

Never posted about a car rental experience before but the manager, Carmen, could not have been more accommodating. When she learned that we wanted a larger car she searched for inventory. Ultimately we couldn't find a car that fit our needs but she was super helpful to us. I never get the same level of service at one of the larger rental areas

In your previous answers, you said that the reason for the 140 USD fee was the delivery of the vehicle to a different branch. Now you say there is a road toll? What kind of company are you?

**DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION** The lady at the front desk should not be representing avis or in a customer service position. She will do everything to accommodate herself and not her customers. If she doesn’t have or an answer or no longer wants to talk to you she just hangs up the phone. She also will call you for a 3pm reservation to come at 2:30 so she can lock up and go home even if your reservation is for 3pm. She once told a story bragging about her not letting customers in at 3:02 because they were late and had to go to another location even though she was still there. This is the opposite of customer service and not how people should be treated when renting a car.
