This place is a great find if you're interested in learning how to make pottery. They have two kinds of classes - wheel throwing and hand building.Pros:+ I wish I had known this before I signed up for classes. But the best way to learn is to choose a 6 week session/block where you can come into all six classes and have time to do practice during their free workshop hours.+ Periodic open house - check it out while you have timeCons:- Restricted hours - due to the small space, there's only so much time you can come in to work on your pieces- Pricey - while the classes are priced competitively, I think it's a little more than I would be willing to pay regularly.- Difficulty parking/accessing nearby- Classes fill up quickIG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

I have been going here for sometimes, I don't know why until yesterday I thought to write a review for them. A wonderful place to learn and explore pottery. I've taken some sessions of wheel and I just love this studio. The teachers are wicked talented and kind. BrickHouse Ceramic Art Center made intro to pottery a really fun experience and is clean and organized. If you have a child it’s not their place for you.

We went in last week and got a 2 hour throwing lesson from Peter. He was the best. Super chill and easy to talk to. He explained everything well and was funny and personable. He even tied in the spiritual aspect of art and pottery. The facility was amazing and Peter was a delight. 10/10 would recommend

I booked TWO HOUR PRIVATE hand building class. The first session was 45 minutes long and then we fondhed- which is fine I thought what's 15 minutes! The second private session we finished in 15 minutes! I just paid for a full hour, the least is you could honor the hour that I paid for. For $75 for 15 minutes is ridiculous.

A wonderful place to take pottery and ceramics classes, get bench/fire time, or just shop from local artists.

My husband and I did an hour wheel class with Puneeta and had so much fun! Highly recommend, a great activity and you'll come home with a few pieces for your home! Puneeta was a great teacher! We hope to do another in the future!

Had my daughter’s teenage birthday party here. We learned how to make pottery on a wheel. The teacher was great, definitely a great way to spend a day.
