I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by an outstanding pharmacy attendant during my visit to CVS Pharmacy 1-50 50 Ave. Long Island City. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that truly set the tone for the entire experience.The attendant displayed an impressive level of proficiency in their role, expertly handling my queries and managing my prescriptions with efficiency and care. What stood out to me was not just their capability to perform their duties, but the genuine kindness and politeness with which they did so. It's rare to encounter someone who is not only excellent at what they do but also makes you feel truly valued and respected as a customer.Moreover, the attendant made an effort to make me feel recognized and remembered, extending their courteous demeanor to inquire about my family's well-being. This personal touch added a layer of warmth to the service that is often missing in today's fast-paced world. It was a reminder that customers are not just transactions but are considered part of a larger community.I left the pharmacy feeling not only satisfied with the service provided but also uplifted by the attendant's kindness. It's clear that they don't just see their role as a job but as an opportunity to positively impact each customer's day. Not sure who posts positive reviews for the pharmacy. There is always something, mostly long waiting times even though you made an appointment for a vaccination. Now they lose prescriptions! Claim it was refilled and picked up when it wasn't, yet then acknowledge that it is their mistake. However, although they are aware that I didn't get the medication, they say they need the approval from the insurance company first (although nothing was received - ripping off the insurance company by making them pay twice?). There is no apology, no helpful attitude, a lot of wasted time for me and I may not get my really important medication. If you rely on your medication go elsewhere! Oh, they also said, if I suffer some a negative impact from not having my medication, CVS would be liable (don't have that in writing, though).

Consistently bad service. Never have medications in stock. There always seems to be something wrong with their systems, and the pharmacist should consider a career that doesn't involve dealing with customers. Being nasty to people for being upset that they're getting overcharged isn't a great look.

I recently moved to the US and sadly got sick multiple times and unfortunately needed to visit the pharmacy on numerous occasions. From the first time I went to this pharmacy, Dexter greeted me with a smile, compassion, and most importantly he educated me. It was challenging for me to understand the US health insurance system, but each time Dexter offered his help and support. He answered all my questions that I felt were “stupid questions” without judgement and I always left the pharmacy feeling grateful he was there. Give this man a raise! He’s a true gem of a human!

Great staff at this pharmacy. The pharmacists Lauren and Albert are truly wonderful, and so is the entire staff. They are all helpful, professional, and friendly.

Always have had a good experience with CVS pharmacy staff. Feel like I can ask questions about medications and they get answered. Have received help from the pharmacist in the past with getting good coupons to reduce cost for expensive medications which is important. I feel comfortable getting my prescriptions filled by CVS pharmacy.

This is a pretty amazing cvs, it has almost anything you will need and for pretty cheap!It also does passport photos and print outs, if you need something, come here!

I love this CVS. I went to get my passport photo taken and Carmen did everything possible to make the whole experience easy on me. She was truly so helpful and sweet. Goes above and beyond. Thanks Carmen and the LIC CVS for being the best. I'll walk out of my way to go here.

Your Pharmacist, Lauren always goes above and beyond when I drop off a prescription. If there is a problem with the script or coupon codes, she will contact the doctor or manufacturer. She is fantastic! The only time I have a problem at this Pharmacy is when Lauren is off. Last week I had a pharmacist tell me to come in to request a refill on a script. How ridiculous is that? Please in-service your non-regular Pharmacists so that they are aware of the procedures.

Pharmacy Staff were great and helpful; However the pricing of prescriptions are inconsistent; same insurance spouse should be same pricing for same medicine, need to fix that is their computer systems, also not all filled prescriptions showing on order/refill care pass online...

I received a text message saying my prescriptions were ready so called to confirm and was told by technician that only one was ready and other was back ordered. I asked for advice and was told there’s nothing they can do. I’m sure they could’ve at least check other near branches if they might have had it. They were rude and unpleasant and made no effort. Then when I went to pick up the one they said was ready I was told that I still had to wait a minute so ended up sitting down for over a half hour just to be told it was ready but they didn’t even run it through my insurance which was already in their computer. TERRIBLE AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!!
