I thought supporting smaller businesses is better than huge corporations. Well, my mistake with this. I gave them 3 chances to rectify mistakes, but this is the last straw. Lack of communication within a chaotic establishment is clear. I witness it myself. They call me that meds were ready and they said they never called me and i mentioned the name and he goes, we will get it ready in a few minutes. 15 chaotic minutes later...its not even the full prescription. Suffice to say, will never ever get back together again.

They are getting worst after they changed owner. My brother gets his prescriptions here and they never have them ready when you go look for it. Today they called in the morning saying his medications were ready, when i got there the medication was not ready, and always missing some medication needed. Before they used to delivered his medication to our appt. Now even do they “say it on the sign” they dont do it anymore or at least they dont offer it as they used to do before they changed the owner.They are always confused, the new employees don’t know how to find the patient info, even do they work like 3-4 people.

Truly not sure how they still have a 4.3 rating on GoogleI've lived in LIC for 3 years now and have been going to this pharmacy since my very first week moving in here a few years ago. The original owners of this small local pharmacy were wonderful. The pharmacists were super helpful and nice, and always went the extra mile to make sure I got my medication in a timely fashion and always answered any questions I had about insurance, medication or any of the above.Fast forward to today - its been a couple months now where this pharmacy has been under new ownership. Since they day they took over, this business has been steadily going downhill. The familiar faces of the old workers are gone and have been replaced with an entirely new staff - most of which don't even seem like they know anything about medication, because when they call, they don't even know how to pronounce the prescriptions i have ready for pickup. Additionally, we're now pushing 7 times in a row that I've gone in after receiving a call that my order is ready for pickup, and my order isn't there. A few times they didn't even have the medication in stock in the pharmacy.They frequently will tell you they called you when they didnt, or say you didn't pick up the phone when you did. Some of the staff have become rude and condescending when i pushed back on the account of certain events that were frustrating as a customer of the pharmacy. They have wrong medication on file for me and often fill those prescriptions instead of the ones I actually need and the ones my doctor actually sends in.They also tell me often that my Doctor doesn't know how to send in prescriptions properly, which is funny because there's never been an issue with my doctor until this pharmacy.Long story short: DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. They'll send you home with incorrect dosages, talk to you super condescending, and try to gaslight you about how many times they reached out to you about your meds.DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE!

I am very disappointed! I have been waiting for my medicine since yesterday. They told me they didn't have it yet, but they assured me they would have it this morning. When I called this morning, they informed me that they still didn't have it. They said they would have it by noon. However, when I called back around closing time, they informed me that they simply don't have it at all. I am extremely disappointed. My ear is in a lot of pain, and I have been waiting for the medicine since last night. If they had informed me that they didn't have the medicine, I could have gone to another pharmacy. They wasted my entire day just making me wait for the medicine. I am incredibly disappointed, especially since this pharmacy used to be good in the past

1st interaction with this pharmacy and I'm unhappy. I live 2+hours from Queens, and they received an rx for me that I've been waiting weeks for it to be approved. I received a call from them Wednesday saying they had my rx ready and it could be picked up or delivered. Noticing the 718 area code, I told the woman on the phone where I live and said I definitely couldn't pick it up so how would it get to me? She said she'd speak to the owner and call me back. So today, Friday, still no call back so I called them. I was told by the young man on the phone they could only be shipped for $50. Assuming ( mistake on my part) this was the only way, as that's what the young man on the phone told me. He also told me they couldn't transfer or cancel it, as it was a transfer to them and they'd already ran it thru the insurance. I asked why on earth would they even fill it,seeing as it's so far away, without contacting me? He replied they didn't know where it Dutchess County was. I gave my info and ended the call. I then called my Dr's office to find out WHY it was sent to Queens when we are in Dutchess County? I let them know I was very unhappy about this. They told me the pharmacy was incorrect and they would rectify it. 5 minutes later, the young man at the pharmacy calls ME and wants to know IF & WHY I called my Dr and the rep from the company to complain about the charge. I told him I absolutely called because I don't know who made the mistake but it's ridiculous. The doctors office then called me back and said the pharmacy told them I was NOT charged and the fee was only to ship it express, which it isn't. I sent the pic of the bank charge to the rep and the dr. So they then told the rep it's a mistake, and they would reverse the charge. I guess they didn't expect me to call, and thought I have no knowledge of how these things work. I've worked in medical for 20+ years. They very well could have still canceled the order. Hopefully I get the $back, and this was truly a mistake.

Excellent community pharmacy that has successfully merged homeopathic, holistic medicine with traditional pharmaceuticals. Knowledgeable team, always ready to assist and answer questions.

Friendly staff. They send reminder texts for prescriptions. They can order pretty much anything I need. Close to many train stations.

It's very difficult for me to understand all the 4 and 5 star ratings of this pharmacy. The couple of times I've visited there (closest pharmacy to me) I've found the clerk inattentive and the pharmacist arrogant and lacking totally in any customer service skills. I sent someone for my new medication yesterday and they were treated with disdain. Despite notifying them via their website of the incident they failed to apologize for the behavior of the pharmacist. I definitely CANNOT recommend anyone to this business. It's obvious from our treatment they don't care at all about customers!!! Stay Away!!!! Wait for the chain pharmacy just 2 blocks away on Queensboro South which will open a bit later this year.

A different pharmacist than usual was working and he was trying to force me to take a dosage different than what my doctor prescribed. He kept offering me amounts different than my prescription and then asking me what I wanted to do. When I insisted I wanted my prescribed amount he finally relented and filled it but then stood behind the counter staring at me instead of checking me out. Unbelievably rude and why was he offering me more or less than my prescribed amount against the advice of my doctor?

Have been using this pharmacy for a year now, ever since I moved to LIC I was so happy with the service here and everyone was always nice. I hadn't had any issues until this week, there was an issue with one of my prescriptions and the way they handled it was just flat out rude and extremely uncaring. The woman at the register was basically whispering to me I couldn't hear a thing she was saying and then another woman from the back spoke to me like I was a child. Nobody explained anything to me they rushed me out and made a nasty face looking at me like I knew nothing and made me feel awful. I called back two days later hoping to reconcile this issue, I understand the prescription issue was out of their control but the customer service aspect and how this woman spoke to me even after I voiced my concerns of how I felt leaving the store was just mind blowing to me. I'm not a little kid and I'm not an idiot I don't need to be spoken to the way this woman spoke to me. I will be switching all my my prescriptions immediately and never coming back to Healthy Living Pharmacy. It's such a shame because I loved to support this place and frequently shopped and gave them business.

I was facing a health insurance hurdle with my doctor that was preventing me from receiving antibiotics for a bacterial infection I've been fighting for days. I called the pharmacist today and they were able to give me my medication same day at an affordable price under my insurance- I'm not sure why my doctor's office wasn't taking the initiative in the first place to make sure I was getting the medication treatment I needed ASAP, but thank god for the pharmacists here. They really do take care of you here as a small business and the 1:1 care feels similar to a local pharmacy you grew up going to. The attention and care is much better than a CVS or Walgreens- you'll understand the difference once you start coming here as your primary pharmacy.
