I have followed Dr. Monaco to this new practice and have taken my pets to her for years. She is caring, compassionate and makes you feel at ease. She explains everything to you in and answers all your questions. She is truly amazing.

I visited Dr Mónaco and her team after recommendations from friends and family. Every interaction I’ve had with Dr Monaco and her staff has been professional, informative, compassionate , and of excellent quality. I’ve taken both of my pets to her multiple times and have zero complaints. She makes sure you understand your pets diagnosis, educates you on different treatment options and even sends follow-up emails to see how they’re doing. I cannot recommend this clinic enough and will keep taking my pets there every time I need to.

I genuinely don't understand these people. One of their clients (or former clients) surrendered my older cat (who's almost 20) over the summer last year. I ended up adopting her in October 2022 from the ASPCA, and in my adoptions packet, a bunch of papers from this office just so happened to be included in it - so logically, I thought it would make sense to reach out to see if they had more details regarding Cosbon, who is my older cat and is doing amazing now that she's not with these people as her "vets." I emailed them and they told me that they've never had her as a patient, meanwhile the papers have Dr. Pet MD heading and are all signed by Dr. Monaco. Then how did the ASPCA manage to get her rabies certificate and her proof of spay from this office amongst other things? Do these people think that the ASPCA would go through the trouble of faking very important medical documents from a vet's office that they've probably never heard of before in their entire existence? Weird, but thankfully my vet in Brooklyn is actually helpful unlike these people. I'm pretty sure that if someone gives the ASPCA medical records for their cat that they're surrendering to the ASPCA, that it'd be accurate. These people here at Dr. Pet MD when they've already proven to be incompetent via email, so there wasn't a point in potentially being gaslight on the phone due to their lack of competency.

Dr. Monaco really cares about the patients she treats. She explained thoroughly on how to take care of my cat that has had a car accident. She’s patient and hears you out on any of your concerns.

She’s a really cool doctor. Taught me how to inject medication and provided an IV bag. She gave me explicit instructions on how to tend to my cat mashallah. She’s amazing!

At first I thought Dr. Monaco was great until my cat started to get sick. Then I realized she never gives a definitive answer. She just keeps requiring more tests and more tests with no answers. And she gives text book answers and when asked her to explain in layman’s terms she can’t or just refuses to. She just talks in circles and keeps saying we need more testing. I asked her at what point does my cat need fluids, her answer was you can give it to her if you want. Feeling fed up I took my pet to another vet. The vet said my cat needs fluids. Why didn’t Dr. Monaco tell me this?! What kind of a vet tells you, you can give it if you want to?! You’re the vet you have to tell me what’s the right thing to do!!! She’s only good if your pet is healthy. Otherwise don’t waste your time. Oh and covid is over but she won’t let you in the exam room. She takes the pets in the back behind closed doors when other vets are not doing this.

My experiences here so far have been great. I live 40 mins away but this is the only vet I trust and feel like I'm not being duped into spending more than the original quote I'm given. The woman vet (not sure of her name, sorry) and the vet techs have all been very good and make sure to take all my cats information and listen to my concerns. My cat can be somewhat aggressive even when medicated and they've been able to handle her well. I haven't gone for emergencies, just vaccines, urine problems, and annual checkups and so far, I haven't been surprised by the bill. I've paid just about as I expected to be charged given the procedures. Going to the vet isn't only anxiety inducing for pets but also their humans because being met with a huge bill is no fun. I remember the last walk in vet appointment I had for my cat. She had an irritated eye and the check up the vet did was less than 30 mins and I paid well over $250 only to find out she just needed eye drops. It's nice to find a vet who I can trust.

I had a great experience. I recommend this place. They didn't seem the type to run unnecessary tests and they were very transparent with the cost of everything before sending it. Only drawback is they may be too far for me. Also I tried to use the coupon from Yelp but I was told it's only valid if you're a first time patient. I don't think it's mentioned on the coupon but it's a good thing I didn't buy it it would have been a waste

Dr. Monaco and her team are actual angels on earth. They have always taken me either right away or same day for emergencies without fail. Yesterday in the early morning I frantically emailed Dr. Monaco about my dog having an emergency and she replied saying to come in first thing. She was able to do an emergency surgery that thankfully saved my dog Lucy’s life and I was even able to bring her home later that evening. Dr. Monaco is super thorough with her explanations and makes it a point to make sure you understand what’s going on with your pet/instructions on what to do. Her staff is also always so nice and understanding while also being extremely professional. I’m so thankful that there is a vet so local to where I live that I can fully trust with my dogs.

This vet refused to give pain medication when my senior dog was actively dying and in horrible pain. Her solution was to wait all day & then bring a fragile, unstable dog to her office so that he could die on a sterile table instead of relieving his pain & allowing him to die at home in his own bed. When he was a well dog with ear & skin problems she recommended ridiculous treatments that didn't work. He was no stranger to her but she refused to help him when he was dying. She's horrible.

Dr. PetMD is the best Veterinarian along with her staff. I highly recommend them for their bedside manners , being so caring , compassionate, always available and accommodating. I have been taking my 2 fur babies for about 2 years now and each visit is a pleasure, I have never had an experience with such a great staff and Veterinarian.

So I brought my dog to get spayed with a friends of the animals voucher. In the end the voucher did little to save me any money on getting her spayed. This was due to the unnecessary blood work to specifically up-charge (the assistant at the desk admitted it was unnecessary for a dog this young). This was close to $90.They also only have a chip which is about twice as expensive as most other chips also about $90. The plus is they were able to schedule me the day after I called. This is probably due to how they up charge while still having an office that looks quite messy and unsanitary (door frame falling apart) . I would consider them in an emergency but they are far from premium although their prices suggest otherwise. For low cost spay this isn’t really an option but I’m aware those other options are more difficult due to limited schedule. Also just discovered that my dog has a retained deciduous canine. The vet didn’t notice nor did they advise to remove it during spaying (considered best practice) . My dog now needs to go under Anastasia just for this purpose.
