Horrible management

I have been here for ~1 month so far and I will update this review as I live here longer.Pros:- Amenities are good. So far, I have used the gym and movie theater and both have been good.- Door men and janitors are friendly.- Good location. Close to food, groceries, and trains.Neutral:- $70/month "utilities" fee. It's in the lease, so I was not surprised but I don't think other luxury apartments have this.- Electricity seems expensive. It's the summer so it might be higher than normal, but our bill is ~$400/month. I'm assuming it's a combination of poor insulation and electric water tanks.Cons:- My A/C broke while NYC was in a heat wave and it was 90+ degrees out. Took Halo about 3 weeks to fix it after a lot of emails.

The A/C in my apartment broke in July so my room is constantly 90+ degrees and Halo has not fixed it for weeks now! It's so hot in my room that it's unlivable. Can't believe I'm paying thousands of dollars a month for this "luxury" apartment when they won't even fix what the DHCR considers an emergency condition. What a joke. I will update this review if Halo/Goose PM, the management company, fixes it.

I now have been living in this “luxury” building for 5 years and haven’t been able to get management to paint my apartment ??♀️

Booked a tour with them and no one showed up. I called, texted and sent emails, got nothing in reply. They never followed up after. There was a broker from the same company but he said that he couldn't help or show the building because it would cause conflict. Annoying, would have liked to see the building but if you're going to pay two months rent as a broker's fee, should have a decent broker at least.

I lived here about 5 years ago with my friend in a two bedroom apartment (a third person was supposed to be involved but that fell through after the lease was already in place yikes) This was a hassle to get to by car or even to get dropped off by a taxi or uber, I don’t know if that’s changed since I lived there. I felt totally safe at this location though and the views are beautiful at night especially. There was plenty of space for both of us to live and even an office space in the apartment that we shared! There were a ton of cool amenities that we got charged for even if we never ever used them which was a pain for people trying to save money but if you have the time, there is a gym, a private workout/yoga room with TV, a theater space for private watch parties (given out first come first serve) and several lounge areas to hang out in or get work done. I believe there was a dog spa? Or a dog sitting or dog walking service (iI didn’t have any dogs so you’d have to check) you could use for a fee and a small dog friendly outdoor area out back with yet another place to lounge around. Oh right and a computer lab type room for quiet co-working and you could even reserve one of the meeting rooms for no charge. I wish I had had more time to use the amenities but life is chaotic!

The number in google and the website doesn’t work for the front desk or just to get in contact. Is there a different number ?

Where do I even begin? If I could give this place a negative 5 star, I totally would because that's what they deserve - or specifically management. To be completely fair, this review is not a reflection on the building staff whatsoever because they are phenomenal. Doorman, porters, super, concierge - everyone is great, except management. Management can kick rocks. The building staff seems to have a high turn over rate for the stupidest reasons ever - but for whatever reason, management has the same shitty staff who seems to fail the basics of performing their job....the irony. I've lived in the building for 5 years and decided I finally needed to upgrade. Throughout the experience of trying to upgrade, I've learned that management is extremely unreasonable and schemey. They prefer to cater to new renters (giving them concessions and a better rental rate) versus current renters (mind you, gives them a steady stream of income and during the middle of a pandemic, all neighboring buildings are giving deals out to new and current tenants). Their logic makes no sense whatsoever. Also, if you have an issue or problem with anything that needs to be reported to management - don't count on management to take care of it so be prepared! If you are looking for a short term rental - this is definitely the place because once your lease is over- they will definitely try to fuck you over and take every penny you've got.

Management is really bad. and I mean bad. They take days to respond and prefer a 1 bedroom filled with 3 inhabitants then a family of 1. Stay away.

I had been working with Sasha Gonzalez and was very excited for our viewing. We traveled from out of state and when we arrived she was not there. I texted, called and emailed her and never got a response. We waited for about 15 minutes and still no response. We were unable to view the building since there is no leasing office on site. Sasha has no regard to how valuable our time is, offered no apology and we have yet heard back from her.
