Purchased Halloween supplies from Home Depot online with disappointing results. Not only did they charge 8$ for delivery but a large item never arrived. I was at home, very much looking forward to the shipment (was planning a party). The delivery person didn't wait for me to come to the door; instead they took a photo clearly showing the item was missing - and departed. No signature proof (left it blank on the form). I went online to contact Home Depot (Amazon makes that super easy) but Home Depot makes you call them (no way to click a button under the order). Even so, I figured that it would be simple enough to fix by having them refer to their own photo and then send a replacement. No. They either didn't have it in stock or some other excuse, saying it shipped from Long Island City. When I called (a tortuous experience, worse than having your hair pulled out but making you want to) they told me to call the store in Queens(Long Island City). After that point, the whole thing became one big circus. Transferred from this department to another one, given the run around, a long time on the phone and nothing accomplished (except for wasting time - five stars for that particular skill). Said they'd "give us a call back" (never happened). As for requesting a refund - no - they could not even do that. And I was still charged for delivery for something never received. Very sketchy. Finally went to the credit card company and filed a dispute - wasting more time.

Always has absurdly long lines. Open more lanes! I frequently walk in and decide I don't need whatever I came in for badly enough to wait in line here. I'm not just talking prime time. Afternoon all the way to close is a ten+ minute wait.

first i want to mention the sales person in the paint dept seegobni. not sure if spelled correctly. he was a god sendi get so confused when i go in there. not sure what is the best stuff i need in paint dept. seegobni came over and said can i help you, i said yes. i needed paint ad spackling and he helped me, rare you get someone who says can i help you, if home depot had a personal shopper. he would be the best person for it. lots of use who need help and he is the person for it. i hope when i go again he is there to help. thank you, seegobni, i just hope the store knows what an asset you are.next, i don't see where on their web site at this location ,there is a place to write a review. i don't see how others where able to sent one, and i am surprised that there is no contact us. at the bottom of the page, this is a great home dept store.

Massive garden section now open in the spring and summer times. It takes up a portion of the parking lot and has almost every type of, fruit, veggie, flower, shrubs, trees and so much more for your garden. Very well stocked and organized with lots to choose from. Annuals and perennials, even some fully grown bonsai trees. The lines always have a bit of a wait here but seemed to move at a decent pace.

Service: Wood cutting after making wood purchaseCONS: · Had to write a review about the service I had here. It was absolute s***: After making my purchase of my wood, I went to the wood cutting session where there were individuals who were NOT at all helpful and acting lazy and not working BLATANTLY. You never see this anywhere else in the country except for in New York City. New York is truly a d*** place to live. PRO: · A place where gen z chicks go to pick up "real men."

Bought a Bosch dishwasher from this location. The process was quick and easy. However the delivery install was a complete disaster. The delivery install crew only knows how to install appliances with one single type of connection, and when there is a different connection (because let's face it there are several types) the installers are useless. They told me nothing in my apartment was grounded. Yet when I touched the refrigerator I wasn't electrocuted. I spoke with a nasty female supervisor on the delivery install side, I feel bad for her husband if she's married. They wouldn't even disconnect my existing dishwasher and haul it away If you purchase from Home Depot spend the extra money and get a licensed professional to install it. Their delivery install team is crap.

RELIABILITY. My customer had a deadline to finish a construction site by Monday morning. It was Saturday and he needed 4 parts, in addition to other things to finish the job. He didn't had enough time to get it all so he asked me to pick it up for him. I came to this Home Depot, I asked on which aisle can I find it? I was given different numbers and one of the agents said, they didn't have it, while other said try aisle 13, other said 43. I went back and forth stressed and full of anxiety looking for the parts. I was thinking, I might not have enough time to go to other Home Depot and I really wanted to help my customer to finish this job on time or it it could be a serious problem for him. PERSISTENCE paid off, I looked and looked till I found it. I sent him pictures to make sure it was the right parts. I enjoy going to Home Depot more than any other store, sometimes, I feel like buying all the tools in there...lolol. Looks like Home Depot has it all and even online, is so much easier to find items, of course sometimes I do not have the time to wait for delivery. I was extremely happy to get the parts, then I had to drive 32 miles to L.I. to our worksite for delivery. Whatever it takes, I do when there is a deadline, and that is why my customers trust me to get the job done.

Every Saturday The Home Depot host a workshop for kids. My son is only 2 so it's hard for him to sit there for it. I went today to get the pencil holder kit that I was honestly more excited about then my son as I am teacher. Going back to work is always hard and it will be nice to have something he made there to look at throughout the day. The staff were beyond nice! Helped me get the kit, smock and even paint for him to complete the workshop at home! Thank you for all the help and kindness!

Filthy - filthy parking lot. I came in here while waiting for another service down the street and it was truly disgusting. They need to clean the parking lot - litter everywhere.

Don't bother getting propane filled there. You will wait multiple hours. Very disorganized, no communication.

I can’t even explain how devastated I am. We paid for the refrigerator on April 23, which a floor sample. So it was present in the store. It was supposed to be delivered May 5. I was waiting the entire day but no one showed up and no one contacted. At 7 pm I called to the store and after almost an hour on hold was told that 1. My delivery was changed to the next day. 2. That they called me at 1 pm. 3. That they were at my house around 1 pm. All of that was a lie. Then the associate said I should call the next day. This morning I called at 8 am and was told that my order went to the Brooklyn Home Depot and is scheduled for May 11. After I asked her to find out why she put me on the hold for 1 hour 30 min after that I was disconnected. I am calling now 16 min of ringing and immediately on hold. What is wrong with this store and it’s employees?

Annoyed because they didn't want to accept a return without receipt although their online return policy state it is allowed as long as DL is provided.

Placed an order for delivery, told clerk my building needs a certificate of insurance from the freight delivery company. I was told I'd get a call. Instead i get a message that I'm getting my delivery and have spent over an hour on the phone trying to get someone to help me. It's as if I'm asking them for something very complicated-unreal! Will probably have to cancel the order because my building won't allow them in without the certificate of insurance.
