I didn’t stay at the hotel but I had the soup the salad and the steak. The soup was tasty. Lots of nice fresh greens on the salad very zesty. The steak was cooked right and had great flavor. It was a little bit chewy but all in all a really great experience.

We loved the views of Long Lake, but the highlight of the stay was the restaurant. Incredible food, wonderful service, and lovely staff plus great drinks. They have a great bartender. I could easily eat and drink there once a week if possible.

I am so impressed by our experience here! We just went to the restaurant but the service was great, food = amazing and the vibes were everything you’d want in a lodge! The burger is one of the best burgers you’ll ever have! Mac n cheese is great especially if you ask for them to add grilled chicken! I already can’t wait to come back! Amazing job!!

We have always wanted to stay on Long Lake, so for my husbands birthday, we did a 2 night stay. I will start with the positive.... The room was newly updated, it was very bright and clean. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was very nice, the food was good, cocktails were very good. The staff was very friendly and it had a nice view of the lake. The great room in the Lodge area was so very nice. Alot of furniture to chill with a beautiful fireplace with a moose head. My favorite area in the lodge. They have a lot of chairs to sit out on the lawn to look at the lake. Negative... I have 3 stars mostly because the rooms have no amenities that I feel are standard at most lodging. No coffee maker, fridge, or microwave. They have coffee in the lobby, we were told 24/7, but anytime we went, it was just hot water. They will get ice for you from the restaurant but there isn't any ice machine other than that. We sat on the big porch, which to our surprise had a lot of old, garage sale type furniture. They did have one glider that was nice but old rattan furniture, a ripped leather chair, and strange kitchen tables. Just not what you would expect. The property would be beautiful but in desperate need of TLC. Broken chairs by the water, old ripped camp chairs, a lot of debris by the water, then the dock had boards missing, so they put another section of decking over it, not safe. So we didn't walk out to look at the lake. The shower is a problem!!! I can say I have never seen a smaller shower stall. If you are larger than average, height or weight, it is very difficult to shower. The street side of the building isn't very welcoming and looks run down. The lodge has a lot of potential, but the rate doesn't match what you get. If you have any mobility issues, this would not be for you. Steps in the lodge (they say that on the website), but the property is not easy to walk around. I saw no easy way to the water. I would not recommend or stay at this property again.

I should have known by the lack of information about the rooms on their website to stay away but I took a chance. We were told at check in that if wanted coffee, it is available in the lobby 24/7. There was coffee when we checked in but never again in 3 times that we attempted to get coffee in the 2 days that we were there. There was also never anyone at the front desk to ask. There was also no ice machine. Upon check in, they would gladly get you ice from the restaurant. After that, with no one manning the front desk, we were SOL. The door to our room was so tight that my wife could hardly get it open, I had to force it opened and closed. It the hot water in the bathroom sink about 2 minutes to get hot. There is no way to regulate the heat in room as it's by the room next door. The restaurant was good and service was excellent but unfortunately the food wasn't good. I ordered the 14 oz grilled ribeye, which was cooked perfectly (medium rare) but also was one of the toughest steaks I have ever eaten. My wife ordered the steak tips and also had some very tough pieces. We didn't eat in the restaurant our 2nd night for obvious reasons. The grounds of the hotel, which is one of the reasons we picked this hotel, weren't kept up at all. We sat on the back porch a couple of times and were amazed by the mismatched garage sale furniture. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it's obvious that all they are concerned with is the restaurant.

Wonderful stay here. Great porch for sitting looking out to the lake. Not a fancy place, but rather an old time Adirondack hotel. Clean, friendly with good food for dinner.

Ample parking, lake view, outdoor seating. Wasn't offered inside seating, so I'm not sure what the seating might be like indoors. Cold beer, an iceberg wedge, and some fried chicken. Tasty and generous portions. Efficient and friendly service. Open on a Wednesday night mid-August when the other joints in town were closed. Glad we didn't have to drive too far out of Long Lake for a meal.

This was a great spot for first-time visit for a couple of nights. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was lovely. The highlight of the visit was the restaurant. After the first night, we were eager to go back for the second. The lodge is well located for everything that the Adirondacks offers and, for us, easy to get to. That last point is especially important as we will go back.

The ambiance was great. It was a busy night and there was a wait and we waited near the lake and it was lovely and low key. The waitress made sure to put our water glasses on the right side of each person (totally classy) and was super, super kind and helpful the entire time. Everything was super good from the apps, to dinner, to desert. Really professional, well run place.
