I ordered two sets of windshield wipers to get ready for the upcoming winter season here in Massachusetts. Two months after I ordered them I tried to install the Anco 35 series wipers. They sent me the wrong items. I paid lots of money and was going to be a repeat customer next year for my three automobiles. When I contact customer service via email, they never said they were sorry, they just said that they I couldn't return them because it had been a few days past the return date. I explained my delay in trying to install them but it wasn't good enough. I tried to swap them for the correct ones and reorder and they said no. They wouldn't budge or even work out a compromise. Now I can understand why most previous customer give Auto Barn a bad rating. I just joined that list. Please beware of dealing with this company.

Purchased a set of Front Shock Absorbers for a LX470, the part shipped does not work on my SUV. They insisted that the part was correct "Based on the manufacturer's application guide, part # JGT4382S is the only TRW front shocks for a Lexus LX470" which is obviously incorrect. LX470 comes standard with active height control which has a hydraulic line that attaches to a hollow mounting shaft on the top of the shock. The shock they sent had a solid mounting shaft. Rather than admit that the application guide was incorrect and agree to pay for return shipping they refused to pay for return shipping even though they shipped me the incorrect part. You would think they would want to correct the problem so it doesn’t occur again, apologize for my trouble and gladly pay return shipping. Needless to say I’ll not do any future business with Autobarnstores.

When you miss represent a part, sell it, and screw over the buyer, its bad for business. You sold my father a misrepresented sway bar through Amazon and left him out to dry. He now has no way to leave the house if necessary until finding the correct part(harder than it sounds) and is stuck with a useless sway bar for a car we don't own.. He simply wanted the correct part, NOT EVEN A RETURN, just for the problem to be fixed.

Great service! Had a oil leak in my engine and came in for a product which would slow or stop the leak. The manager and employee on duty worked together to find me exactly what I needed, they recommended a product that was a third of the price of the one I was intending to buy, and asked pointed questions and made great recommendations based on my answers. Highly recommended for knowledgeable and honest service.

Great service that is fast and easy. They helped us get all the necessary parts to replace the fan in my car. Took me about a week in my spare time to take care of this but the staff was helpful

Worst customer service/skills ever. I was sold a faulty car battery few months ago, it took me several trips to the mechanic and money to realize that the battery doesn't hold the charge. Over the past few weeks and with the cold weather now, I had more troubles, car parked over night wouldn't start in the morning, with a jump start and driving around would work but then same things. I went to the store, explained the situation and the manager wanted the battery in the store to test it. I couldn't do that myself, so I had my mechanic replace with a new battery and then brought back the faulty battery in the store as I was asked. My mechanic wrote what was the problem, the manager/owner wouldn't listen to me and kept saying that the battery was charged, didn't have any problems and refused to give me a refund for a manufacturer faulty battery! Since I have changed the battery last week, I haven't had any problems with my car. Save your money and time, do not walk into this store. People is rude, no customer service skills, do not listen to clients and think women do not have a clue about anything car related.

HORRIBLE customer service. It's technically non-existent. Every single time I called, I would get a voicemail. Didn't matter the day of the week, time of day, nothing. All my voicemails went unanswered. I reached out via e-mail and some of those went unanswered as well. They shipped my package 24 hours before letting me know. I reached out prior to receiving any tracking information to cancel my order and I received no reply for days. Their lack of urgency to respond to customers is unacceptable. Now I'm stuck paying astronomical shipping charges to return my items since they didn't respond in time. Use rockauto or any other site to order auto parts.

If I can give it zero stars, I would. This Lynbrook store is unprofessional, the dumb-dumb employees ordered me the wrong car part twice in 2 days after specifically telling them the exact part I needed. Also, when I went to pick up the part at the store, the employee tried to swindle me into buying a rear wheel drive part for an all wheel drive car and that it was an original replacement part from the manufacturer, but the box said "Made in China" and it was an after market brand. Never again.
