Do not come here if you have to see a teller because you will be in here way longer than expected. They need to hire more help!!!

Terry was a absolute rock star, she offered first class service from beginning to end. I need a letter to be signed by someone certified and luckily for me I walked into the Lynbrook location. She certified my letter and went far and beyond to help me she even got me a envelope and stamp so I can mail out the letter. Terry you can tell cares about her clients and just wants to help. She is amazing ?

I forgot my debit card in the drive thru atm while rushing to get to work, someone saw it in the machine and brought it in to return it once the bank was opened. When I called up the bank panicking, the teller Sharon, told me that they had the card. I had to cancel it because I wasn't sure when I was able to pick it up this week due to my work hours. They sent me a new one for yesterday and I got it. So thank you Sharon and the customer who returned my card.

I read the reviews above and decided to share my own experience with this branch. I cannot emphasize how professional, helpful and courteous I find the staff to be at this branch. I have been a customs of Citibank for 30 yrs and have used this Branch to conduct my business for the past 10 years and I have never been disappointed with their service.

The exterior looks alright. This corner location barely has any parking. Every single time I come here I have trouble parking and the 5-corner's area isn't exactly a nice area to go in circles around to look for parking. I don't really mind parking across the street during a nice day, but when it rains/snows, it is a real inconvenience. Smells a bit funny. There is always a line here even though there aren't many people that actually live in Lynbrook. This Citibank location could use some improving.

I opened an account online. Laziness and all that. I attempted to go in a get a debit card. The short Trini Indian lady told me in short terms no. I opened the account online so they cannot help me. I was able to fund it however and I had to show proof as to why I was in Long Island funding my account. My apologies Citibank for following my JOB. I work across the street. The teller gave me a look as if he didn't believe me. I had to show a freaking paystub...to put money in MY account. I let it slide because I didn't want to get loud. So the account was opened on the 3rd. Today is the 19th. Guess who has yet to get a debit card...yep. ME! Walked into the branch again...I was going to close the account and get a new one. Had paystubs (yes Citi. Obviously I'm a scammer), proof of an updated address and my ID and SSN. The lady was all okay until she saw my SSC was issued in 2012. I explained I lost it in a fire and got a new one. Now the back office will have an issue with me closing and opening my account. Her manager had an issue. Could not fund my account because of well...no reason. Bit my earnings were discussed and I was offered a Citi Credit Card. Really lady? If I can't service my BANK ACCOINT why would I dare get a Citibank Credit Card? I left the branch and got on the phone with someone with a Boston accent who told me the branch has the right to refuse me service. I'm going to assume it's my skin color and file a complaint. Thanks ShityBank. You earned your name.

I am very shocked to read the previous reviews. Everytime that I have been there the service has been quick and friendly. Yes, parking could be an issue but with quick service the parking spaces turn over fast.

Lost In Translation Just a simple fax from Citibank to Citibank turned into a big issue.

The WORST Citibank in ALL of NY!!! The manager was rude, very unprofessional and I would never go back! They almost lost their client, my employer if over 30 years and get family, knowing her very well, knowing she opened a business, knowing she had well over the suffice amount of money she wrote me as her new employee, as the woman REFUSED to cash the check!!!!! She kept lying and changing her story, not once making eye contact, and made me, a potential client, and my employer whose home branch this is, feel very uncomfortable and without any reason. Not a smile, not a glance, rude, unhelpful, and I would NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN!!!!! Thank goodness for the LONG BEACH BRANCH!!!!!

When I first got married, I opened a joint account in Citibank. Melissa is very rude, she asked many personal questions that had nothing to do with the banking. She asked me to go to the window to deposit the money, which she could have done herself as a courtesy to assist the new account members. When I came back a year later to get a card for a personal account that was not a joint account, she refused to help me and ignored me until my husband came inside the bank and asked why it was taking so long. When my husband arrived she was ready to help. She announced my account balance out loud to the whole bank, and refused to give me a temporary card for the card I lost. Melissa is the reason citi bank won't succeed in lynbrook, there workers are rude and have poor customer service skills. Afterwards we decided to go to another bank, and they were most helpful at depositing my checks, and treating me like a valued customer. Melissa also asks a lot of questions, they do not have anything to do with opening an account. She made a sound with her teeth and lips, in a rude manner, and it was a terrible experience of embarrassment and dealing with an ignorant teller. I will not be going back to citi bank lynbrook.
