About Humane Society of Wayne County

The Humane Society of Wayne County is a wonderful and caring non-kill shelter. The staff are awesome, friendly, very nice, helpful, and very knowledgeable about pets. They are very caring and have the animals' welfare at heart. The adoption process is quick. People love the pets they adopt, finding them to be darling and everything that was said they were. The organization is currently awaiting a new building for better animal accommodations. They are highly recommended for their generous mission.

    Awesome society. Staff and volunteers friendly and knowledgeable. Adopted 2 kitties & my veterinarian is very happy with the health of the animals from there. Their very well taken care of

    Staff is amazing. They are attentive and very in tuned to the animals there. They make you feel comfortable and are always willing to answer your questions. I will only adopt animals from this shelter.

    The new building is gorgeous. Staff is warm and caring, animals are spoiled!!!
