I’m impressed with the new Rx person Matt! He is often the person I meet when I stop by the drive up to get a prescription. I like his calm, unflappable personality & the fact he enjoys interacting with customers. There are several pharmacists in this store who have no customer interactions- unable to break away from their computer to talk to a customer and several Rx pharmacy assistants who are always having a bad day and who you pray is not working when you go there.Thank you Matt! I hope you are here in Macedon a long time!

Pharmacy employees are very rude and disrespectful. Sound annoyed anytime you need help or more information. Always out of multiple medications. I would suggest finding a new pharmacy.

New pharmacist is so rude. And when I went to get my meds that were supposedly ready according to my text messages I get from cvs. Definitely switching pharmacies!

Recently went in and had some issues getting my insulin due to a mishap with insurance. I was told that my insurance was not active and I needed to figure it out Monday or Tuesday. I left pretty upset about the situation, but received a call 30 or 40 minutes later from Amy she overheard the situation and looked into it, it turned out to be a simple fix. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! I don’t normally leave reviews but I had to this time.

It's sad that some people had disappointing experiences with the Macedon CVS ... my family has been using this store for many years and are completely satisfied. They have gotten very busy over the years, and I for one, do wish they had more staff in the pharmacy. I am NOT a fan of the new "self check out" in the front of the store ... I have never been able to do it by myself, and have to ALWAYS call for help. It seems a waste of time, for me to us "self checkout", if I'm just going to wait for an employee anyway. BUT, it is a small hurdle ... if it's the worst thing that happens to me in that day, I'm blessed.

Had an APPOINTMENT for a moderna covid booster and they said they ran out!!! Ran outwhen I HAD a scheduled APPOINTMENT? Was told pharmacist was calling appointments. I was 10 minutes early and zero phone contact from them. 30 minutes to and 30 minutes home! Awful to say the least. I see now why they only have a 3.1 rating!

Scheduled a covid booster last week,Around 9/8, showed for scheduled appointment yesterday, 9/14 was covid booster shot was unavailable, there's a shortage, did not receive any prior notification of this before showing up for shot.I find this unacceptable, Cvs pharmacy you get a Failing around.....

Not sure why so many people are down on this CVS. I personally love it! they're close to home, open longer hours than a lot of places right now, and they're always helpful when I need to find something. Never had a bad experience other than waiting for the cashier behind folks that have a pile of expired coupons that need an explanation for every one. Now that they have a self-checkout I can breeze past the slow lane :D Thanks CVS!

My family and I have been sick with covid. After receiving a prescription for Ivermectin and having a pharmacist fill out prescription, we were just told a certain pharmacist REFUSED TO REFILL our prescription as we still have some symptoms. To be refused service for a prescribed medication is baffling to me and is discouraging.

I just got back from going to CVS for my prescription, they have two lanes to choose from...I got stuck behind someone doing a drive-thru COVID test...I waited 20 fricking minutes because I was sandwiched between cars...hey folks at CVS, wouldn't it be logical to have one lane for the COVID test and the other for prescriptions so us that need to pick up our meds don't have to suffer for folks having a COVID test....it's so aggravating and to think these are the folks I have to trust to thinking logical about my meds.....no thank you...here I come Walgreens!!!
