This store tends to have a good selection of items due to the surrounding area being more wealthy. However, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. I understand this is a business and they need to make a profit, however it's Goodwill. Every item in this store was donated. They received every item for Free / $0. Speakers for $100. I saw a piano / keyboard for $175. $175!! Headphones with ripped cushioning for $25. As I said, there is nothing wrong with making a profit on items, and more power to them, but when you see items at Goodwill, selling for close to retail and in some cases, I've seen items selling for higher than retail! I've always believed Goodwill was a thrift store, selling items for people in need. However, this particular Goodwill is just turning into a department store with used goods, and it's sickening!!

The store and the cashiers are always great. The female manager is hands down the rudest person most unprofessional bait and switch pricer and needs serious guidance. When she gets caught at her game, she takes it out on the customer. Stop putting conflicting price stickers on things and blaming the customer for it. It's getting old.

Found a decent record for 99 cents. Took to register and tag would not scan. Waited for manager to tell us it was an old tag and that someone peeled off the new price. She needed to phone someone else to ask the price, I said nevermind. She got snippy with me because I didn't want to wait another time to be told a price other than what was marked. They have raised records to $3 good for them. Make sure the 99 cent stickers aren't on them then, and don't get snippy with customers when you leave them on. Attitude isn't worth paying another 2 dollars sorry. Used to be my favorite GW store not since this manager!! If GW wants to play test and Clean and keep their stickers off the covers which devalues them further then maybe I would pay more than a dollar for them but these greedy managers think they deserve more money for products they know nothing about. I won't shop for records here anymore. Especially after this manager tried to bait and switch a sale!!!

Hands down the best goodwill I have ever visited. I enjoy goodwill, I make occasional visits. I quite like shopping at goodwill, but I like shopping at this goodwill the most. The selection is amazing and the service is incredible. This is quite possibly the best goodwill of all the Rochester area goodwills. The weird T-Shirt department is lacking but that is made up for by the abundance of sewing machines. This is THE goodwill to go to if you’re looking for a goodwill to go to.

Really nice store, big and very clean. Good selection of clothes but not so much with books and movies and toys. Customer service is very nice but some of the things I feel are overpriced such as the name brand bags. You can go to other thrift stores and they're 50% cheaper at least. It would be nice if the clothes were sized in order, when I went they were all jumbled and I don't mean just a few out of order, all the tshirt sizes were mixed together.

Good selection but employees were making it clear several times they are closing. Even came up to us and said they are closing then 2 mins later said they are closing again. Don’t badger people. Let us shop and then we will go.

If you're going to Goodwill on Dewey Avenue Rochester New York be prepared to have a quarter to put in their shopping carts just like Aldi. I had to go back to my car to get change.

We stop in a few times a month. They always have new stuff to browse through. Staff is nice and helpful, with either purchasing or donating.

Found some nice things. If I had more time, I probably would have found more to take home. Love this place.
