The service men at Van Bortal are the BEST, and when I went in for an oil change/tire rotation, they recommended my brakes/pads get replaced. I followed their recommendation and didnt realize how bad the brakes really were.

The service manager, Mike, was very accommodating in scheduling a day to bring the Corvette in for an oil change and inspection. Any of the Corvette technicians are very thorough in performing the oil change. I would never consider another dealership to perform maintenance on my vehicles. I highly recommend this dealership to perform any work on your vehicle as they are competent and informative.

My experience with Chuck and Business Manager David Johnson was excellent. I have been waiting for a 2024 Trax since 9/2023. I gave a dealership a chance to hold a new trax, when I got there on 9/7/23 he knew I had a 2019 Kia Optima to trade in, after doing the paperwork he came back twice and said that they are not taking Kia, I waited for a month for this trax, I then was calling different chevy dealerships they were telling me that they need $500-1000 to hold one, I didn't wanted to do that, I then called Van Bortel Chevy I told them what happened my experience with other dealership, I told them am looking for a 2024 Trax Chuck told me it's going to be a while before they get one, I told him a color and a price not to exceed, he never asked me for money to hold, I told him that he can trust my word that I will get it once it comes in. almost 1.5 months pass, I forgot about it, I was then searching for a use vehicle, Chuck then call me on 10/16/23 and said a 2024 Trax should be here today or tomorrow, I laugh because I thought Van Bortel Chevy (Chuck) forgot about me, I went the next day and got my new Trax, the transaction was smooth and quick. Van Bortel now have my business from now on, I want to thank Van Bortel for trusting me with my word, by telling them that I will not get a trax from another dealership because they are getting one for me without money to hold it, it was a savvy business decision from Van Bortel, they kept their promise, and I did too, great business decision by the Van Bortel.Thanks again for everything.Ludwig L.

While my visit was only for initial maintenance and an oil change, the Van Bortel personnel were prompt and friendly and did the work quickly. I asked about a trailer brake controller and got not only a verbal explanation of available units but also a printout to take home. Totally satisfied!

I went in for an oil change on my Chevy Equinox and Ryan Mays took care of checking me in. He was very helpful when my online appointment did not show up in the system. Making the entire process stress free. At the end of my service he informed me my tires would need replacement within the next few months. He also took the time to explain how owning a AWD vehicle you need to replace all the tires at once which I was not aware of. He was very pleasant and patient thruout the entire thing even saving me some money on my oil change. As a single mom with my first child off to college in the Fall it really did make my day. He is an employee you should keep for sure!

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Van Bortel Chevrolet. Matt Fagenbaum, as always, was incredibly helpful and courteous. We truly enjoy doing business with this dealership as it has proven itself to be trustworthy and is very customer oriented.

My Corvette was being serviced for a replacement window regulator and three switches. When completed, I received the invoice by email which showed I was being charged for two regulators, but only one was replaced. I called Mike who then corrected this before I arrived to pick up the car. Upon arrival, I found the headliner laying in the back compartment on top of the speaker grills. I replaced the headliner myself, but then I found the battery was dead and the car would not start. Aaron quickly jumped the battery.However, I am displeased with the lack of attention to detail with the invoice, the lack reseating the headliner and of course, leaving me with a dead battery. The work I came for originally was done to my satisfaction, but the three blunders the day I picked up the car greatly question if I should return to Van Bortel in the future.

Your service advisor and mechanic who worked on my car were able to make room for my oil and filter change with tire rotation unscheduled on a Saturday when I was turned away the same day from another mechanic where I specifically made an appt that day. I was very grateful for their excellent customer service. They both deserve a raise.

While we had a wonderful sales person and ultimately decided to purchase our car from Van Bortel we were extremely disappointed what we felt was bait and switch financing that was advertised . We realize our car did not fall into the 1.9% financing however it was advertised that GM financing at Van Bortel was 4.9% we have excellent credit even the finance guy mentioned this and we showed him where our car showed 4.9% financing however were denied it. We are disappointed that Van Bortels would advertise something they are not going to stand behind. Other wise we are quiet happy with the car so far we have only had it just under 2 weeks.

Service Dept.-I would give 1/2 star. Over charged to reset truck, because he wouldn’t pay your outrageous quote for brakes. Told a him, who is a hard working, Vietnam vet to take the shuttle or wait, which ended up being over 4 hours. I am a long term customer who has encouraged others to come to your establishment. That ends today!!!

Great experience and completely satisfied with all aspects from the initial greeting by service writer (Glenn)to the end when Glen spent some time with me helping and explaining a technical question. Pleasantly surprised with the discount I received on inspection and oil change on my 2016 Corvette which I purchased from Van Bortel April 2022. Professionalism and courtesy by all who I came in contact with.
